What's nice about smørrebrød is that you can try 2 or more kinds without feeling sick to your stomach. I've visited 2 Aamanns locations while in Copenhagen. What I tried at this location were: Roast Beef Smørrebrød: Roast beef slices with béarnaise, pickled cucumber, mushrooms, crispy potatoes and thyme Pork Belly Smørrebrød: Fried pork belly with apples, cinnamon, kohlrabi and pork cracklings. The salmon it's self was cooked perfectly. Gently grilled on the outside and moist on the inside, and vegetables were perfectly seasoned. The sauce on the fish was an excellent touch. All in all, it was worth the $. He also recommended Carlsberg Pilsner. Beer that is popular in Denmark. I was tempted to get another one! And finally the desert. Wow, I would fly back to Copenhagen just for this! He recommended the Gammeldags æblekage (apple strudel), it was divine. Thank you for the excellent food and service. 10/10.
