I brought a jet pack in for service. They told me a week. That turned into 3 months. They told me it was fixed. I drove the 1 1/2 hours to pick it up. When I looked at it I said that it looked like nothing had been done. They said it was fixed. It was never worked on and still has the same issues. Over a week ago Bullfrog lied to my past post saying they reached out to me but they did not. They gave me a number to call and last week I called twice and no one returned the call. I spent $46,000 on a S200 swim spa and as I had issues with Dolphin Pools in SLC, Bullfrog corporate refused to get involved. I am only speaking to my swim spa. Their filtration for that size is not good and I had so much that went wrong. I would never never use Bullfrog or Dolphin Pools for any new products, but I will have to use them for the warranty. I have a voicemail from JUNE, from their receptionist returning my call saying someone will get back to me, but never did. They are awful at consumer awareness. BEWARE! The service manager of Bullfrog Spas just told me (11/5) they have dozens of customers who have been waiting weeks for service. The service person who spoke to me last week quit the following day. They have no concept how they will meet customer needs. I bought my hot tub about a year and a half ago. The guys that delivered it were great. The girl with them noticed that there was a scratch on a panel and told me that they come out and replace it. They never did. Now my clips on my cover have broken. They don't fix that. My head rests have bubbles on them. Again, They don't fix that. Nothing appears to be under warranty. I'm not even sure they have a warranty. Now one of the side panels of my hot tub has fallen down and will not go back up. The jury is out. Are they going to help me with this one? Just be aware before you purchased one of these hot tubs, they will break and they will not help you. read more

I've owned numerous spas over the years (jacuzzi, master spa, hot spring) and Bullfrog is our absolute favorite. The jets are so much more therapeutic. It's so efficient we don't even notice a difference in our energy bill with or without the spa. My wife has severe arthritis and this thing has been a godsend. Her favorite jetpak is the neck massager one. We've had this thing for 5 years with no problems. When I was looking for the phone number and saw the bad reviews I decided that I would share my experience. It seems most people only think to leave a review when they are unhappy (obviously me too since it took 5 years). I also have a friend who bought a bullfrog on my recommendation and after 2 years of ownership, he loves it. No issues for him either. Unfortunately, it has now been a few months since we received our spa, what began as pure excitement became complete disappointment! We thought we were purchasing a spa considered be built by a good brand and instead it appears the quality control is terrible. Based on the reviews we never expected the amount of problems and poor service we have received from the moment it was delivered. Even though our dealer rep Bruce has been cordial and responsive we expected the company to back up their product, and they have not. From the beginning the brand new spa did not work due to a bad heater, a pack was defective, a part that holds the chemicals is still missing, the outside lights (we paid extra for) that are on a timer, do not stay on, and now the unit makes a humming noise when turned on. It has been almost 4 months of repeated broken promises, and unreturned calls. It appears that by ignoring our concerns the Company may think we will just go away, however, We had plenty of options before making this purchase, it was a costly item and we never expected to deal with so many problems and inconveniences. I love the jet packs and that the seats are different levels to accommodate tall and short people. We bought a very expensive spa from them last year. It was $14,000. The side panel keeps falling down. We went to use it this weekend and the spa was cold. It keeps flipping the circuit breaker. I called yesterday to get a service call. No one called me back. I called today and they can't come out for 8 more days. When I said that I was concerned about the cold and freezing and ruining the spa, he said to put a space heater there. The hot tub is outside and it's not safe to put outdoors. When I mentioned that he said to get a shop light. We don't have one. So, I have to go out and purchase outside shop lights. This is totally unacceptable for such an expensive spa. read more

I've had spots before never had that happen they agreed to sell me some new ones that basically cost when I went to pick them up they said they would do that my recommendation is to find another spot company as these guys built back up their product and they're using a faulty product read more

I usually don't post reviews about products but I have to post this about bullfrog spas. We moved into this home about two years ago and it came with this bullfrog spa. The lady kept all the receipts on the home and this spa is about 15yrs old. Works amazing. One day I noticed a little water coming from the bottom. I removed 4 screws and found a fitting was leaking. I drained the tub and drove to Bluffdale where they make these things so I could make an appt for a tech to come out. The gal Sharon at the front desk told me that this is common for these fitting rubber spacers to wear out after about 15 to 20 years so she gave me two fittings and said it's fairly easy to replace yourself. So I went home repacked the two rubber seals in 1 hr and it works great. I can't tell you how easy it was how nice the people were at bullfrog and how well built the spas are. I had a Arctic Spa and the Jets kept failing and it was very hard to work on and technicians had to come out and fix it but bullfrog has it spot on I would highly recommend these spas. read more

First of all, let's get it right out of the way - the Bullfrog Spa I have is fine. I'm pleased with it. But the company itself has disappointed me. Around the beginning of the year I fell for their radio ads talking about needing to get rid of inventory and scratch and dent and making way for the new models so killer deals are abound. Huge discounts. Etc etc. You know the drill and have likely heard the ads. So my wife and I went into an outlet. Several times. It's a big purchase so we tried to get as educated as we could. We finally decided which model we liked but there was only one "scratch and dent" left in any store in the state of that model. It wasn't a color we liked but we negotiated the price lower and lower until we felt good about it. In fact, the sales person had to get permission from management for the price we wanted to buy it for. This made us feel like we were getting a pretty good deal. We got the spa. It was good. It was fine. It had some dings in it and it wasn't the color we wanted but we were confident we got a good deal so we were happy. A couple months later the spa developed some problems and had to be replaced. Bullfrog had no problem replacing it but when I asked if we could switch to a different color, even though the sales person told us that would be no problem - they refused - giving the reason that it was a scratch and dent deal that was heavily discounted so I don't get to choose a color. That didn't make sense to me since different colors don't cost them any extra. So we got the new Spa. It's been working fine. However the real kick to the groin happened when we wandered into Costco one day and Bullfrog had a road show going on. To my surprise, they were selling the exact same model as ours, only brand new, with the same accessories ours came with FOR THE SAME PRICE WE PAID. So had we waited a couple of months we could have gotten a new one and had the color we wanted for the same price at Costco. The moral of this story is that if you want a spa, bullfrog makes a good product. But don't fall for their big clearance sales in their outlets. If you wait for a Costco roadshow you will get a brand new spotless unblemished Spa of your chosen color for the best price they will give you at an outlet for a blemished older model. read more

Finally broke down and bought my family a hot tub from Bullfrog. After quite a bit of research I ended up purchasing from this Utah local company. First the customer service while picking out our spa was excellent. The sales staff was really helpful and offered great input based on their own experiences. Delivery was easy and the crew who set up my spa was friendly and again very helpful and knowledgable. After a couple months of use I did have one little issue with my filters and Bullfrog replaced them with no hassle. I really was impressed by this company overall. Highly recommend to Anyone looking for a hot tub. read more

I own a defective bullfrog spa that has been left in place at my house for over a year now! The dealer where I purchased the spa is arguing with Bullfrog over who will pay to install the warrantied spa at my house. JUST CRAZY! I am tired of calling both the company and the dealer. Both know that the spa's shape is cut wrong. A seat and the filter panel cut-outs are too big!. The seat that has a 1/2 inch gap between the jet pack and the shell of the tub. Plus, the filter panel is smaller then the cut-out so it falls out into the spa. AND......the headrests are not tight to the seats. They move side-to-side and break and/or fall off. For all you out there thinking about purchasing this spa.....THINK TWICE! Yes...it's a great spa....however...that's only if you get a functioning one from the start! If not....your SOL! The company and the dealers are only interested in taking your money vs. providing you with a functioning hot tub. read more

Worst spa ever I would never purchase again or reccomed a bullfrog spa We were going to purchase another brand when we moved to our new house as we had to leave our spa at the house we sold. We saw the bullfrog and were wowed by the movable jet packs. We were happy for a few months then we started having problems. They have literally replaced every component in our spa and the pumps 2 times. They have failed yet again. We have not been able to use our spa off and on for a total of about 2 months. The pumps need replaced again. I am furious and just want this spa gone and my money back. read more

Bought a new R6 Bullfrog spa from Acrylic Spas in AZ and it had a leak. It took three weeks to get it repaired with new lights that were defective. The sales person tells me to leave water in it during the summer and the service guy says drain it. Based on my initial experience with Acrylic Spas and Bullfrog, I won't be doing business with either company again. read more
