I love Bullock's. This was my first time at this location but I've been to the other one in Woodstock many times. This one did not disappoint. Huge store and they carry just about everything. Hubby wanted to come here because he heard they had the Crystal Head vodka he'd been wanting to try. Not only did they have it but it came with four cool shot glasses to go with it. So, of course he had to buy a bunch! I found a really good bottle of wine I had been looking for at a good price so it was a win win. They also had a lot of cases of Winter Jack that we are always in search of when it comes out in the fall so it's good to know that we can get it here if we'd can't find it at home. This place has a huge selection of stuff. The owner is a super nice guy and he always knows exactly what he has in stock and where it's at. There's thousands of items in here so it's honestly impressive. We picked up 1 L bottles of Bluwine at $7.99/bottle and literally can't beat that price. They had abita strawgator doppelbach and are the only place I've found that here other than a festival. If you're in the area looking for wine or liquor or beer, check this place out for sure. I've lived in the area 20 years I don't think they've ever mopped the floors dust the bottles I always feel like I have to wash my hands four times after leaving. I went to this location today to purchase wine. I wanted to buy a case of the Cavit pino Grigio larger bottles. I asked for assistance from a young worker. I am 69 years old and had recent shoulder surgery so I thought they might offer assistance. he said to just get a cart and put 6 bottles in it to check out. I got the cart and loaded a box carefully with the 6 bottles and went to checkout. The man at checkout then told me that I had to put each bottle on the counter to pay. He was rude and asked me if I brought my own box. He put the bottles in another box and I paid. I had to put the box back in my cart and go to my car to unload by myself. There was no offer of assistance from anyone in the store. I might have saved a few $ but will not return to this store. read more

Awful place. Struggled to find desired items too long. Asked new cashier if they had anyone that could assist on floor with list. "I don't see anyone" was only response. Went to other checkout and sought help. As I was pulling up list on phone, I was asked, "Should I try to read your mind?" Maybe humor attempt; fell flat following 20 wasted minutes. Store is a wreck. One aisle full of empty cases, stuff everywhere. No way to use a cart. Drove to "Jackie's" down the street and received friendly service and needed items. Great selection, Jeff, the owner could not be more helpful or nicer. I was checking out and THE nice cashier noticed I'd handed him a $50 instead of a $20 (didn't realize I'd done that) he pointed it out to me. In this world, today, that's unusual. Done, done with this place. NO customer service what so ever! I only go here as a last resort. Generally there are 3-4 old men who stand around with their thumb up their buns or out on their smoke break. They never help or offer to help load your car. Generally, I spend in excess of $100 when I go and they just watch me, take it all out of my cart, reload it in my car and then take it out to my car. They must hate their wives as much as their female customers. The Bullock's at Towne Lake, is completely different, clean, well lit, isles are wider and they ALWAYS offer to help you out to your car. I went in this store late tonight because I was out doing Christmas shopping and the nearby Target did not have a large selection of wine. I ran in right before they close and the older gentleman that worked did not speak and when I got to the check out he stared at my Id and never looked up at me and told me it was fake. It was a new Real Id but I assume many people have them by now. He was rude and told me that he can not sell to me. I do look good for my age but damn I'm 34. He looks miserable and I will never step foot In there again. He needs to retire because he is clearly racist or just ignorant. Hands down the best inexpensive to mid-priced wine selection around, plus a 10% discount by the case. This is where I do the majority of my wine shopping, even over the prices at Costco. They know their wine, the location in the store, and even offer comparable options to what you have in your cart. As a side note, they don't look down on you for buying (or searching for) the cheaper wines. I pride myself on a decent palate for dry reds and don't want/ or need to spend a lot on what I like. I have had many a conversation with the guys in the wine department about the options and found them to be amazingly helpful and not snooty in the slightest. If they don't have what you are looking for, they offer to get it, and they are happy to haul cases to your car with a smile. The liquor selection is also vast and better than average priced, so they truly get the majority of my business. Not sure where the comments came about unhappy or unhelpful people, as I have yet to experience that in the past year...rather quite the opposite one both wine and liquor. I visit this store all the time! The customer service tonight was DISGUSTING! I was on the phone with my after a long Friday at work! She was tell me that my grandmother is 9yrs cancer free! Of course I was excited. I walked into this store with a big smile on my face while talking to my mom. I walked to the back right side of the store, looking for a nice vodka. This very old guy (he walks with a limp) approaches me and immediately told me to get the FK off my phone and to get out of his store! I was shock! I purchase my items and left. However I did ask the guy on the Register was the old man okay! I was truly concerned! However I was told he was alright and proceeded to tell the cashier what the old man told me! He laughed! I was disgusted! I am So Sorry I ever walked into my LOCAL liquor store! I wish that old man all the kindness in the world, no one should be that angry and disrespectful! It's time to give them a bad review. I've avoided it for so long, but eventually the assholes get what's coming. There are a couple good guys here, but mostly, you can count on talking to a complete ass. The prices are great, but they don't come anywhere near offsetting how bad the employees are. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to talk to people who have a napoleons complex. Examples... I ask, wow, surprised you guys are open so late: response, how late do you need to buy alcohol? I ask, what do you think of this scotch: response, do you drink scotch? Person swipes my card and it doesn't read; I respond, it just started doing that, if you do it as credit it will work since the debit part of the card requires a longer part of the metallic strip to work. This is a decent neighborhood liquor store with a good selection and fair prices. I come here every now and then when I want alcoholic beverages and need a little better selection that what you get at a supermarket. The prices seem about comparable to what you can get at any supermarket or other liquor store. While the selection isn't extensive like you see at Total Wine, if you aren't looking for something really special, this store should meet your needs. The location of the store is good and parking is easy. In a recent trip, the only complaint I would have is that there were quite a few beers on the shelves with no price marked. I bypassed these rather than start asking a lot of questions. People have complained about a lack of courtesy in the staff, but if you know what you want and just come in, select your items, pay for it and leave, it really doesn't matter whether the staff is courteous or not. If you don't know what you want, maybe there might be an issue. I've interacted with the staff a little bit over the years and haven't seen this is a big issue. read more

Bullocks is my favorite package store. There could very well be other great ones, but in East Cobb they have a great variety of beer, wine, and liquor. And like many places all you have to do is ask for something in particular and they can get it as long as it is distributed to the area.
