The service I've received for a year now has been great ! I get a call plus a text to inform me of the upcoming treatments ! The price does seem a little high, but the entire yard & house has always been taken care of by a very polite technician ! I recently invited them to come inside & inspect the attic, basement and foundation for Rodent infestation! They did discover some concerning areas in the basement as well as potential entry points and recommended adding insulation ! The work has gone well with everyone including Justin & his crew ! A bunch of liars, that take you're money, and getting out is easier in the mob. If you fall for their sales tactics at the front door, I really hope you signed up for the shortest possible contract. The product they sell you on, is a lie. It doesn't work. They go on and on about a product they use in the yard, to reduce bugs there as a first barrier. In the last year I have seen more bugs, spiders, spider webs in my yard than I have the entire 9 years I've live in this house. Then they talk about the product they spray on the outside of the house. It might as well be water for all the good it has done. They're also incredibly weird about coming into your house to spray. Since using this company, I kill a spider a day in my basement. In the 9 years I've lived here, I've never seen so many spiders. Then you get the joy of their scheduling, which is awful. One random day you will receive a text message alerting you that they will be at your house the next day between whatever hours. So good luck if you're on vacation, or have a job outside of the home, or somewhere to be tomorrow cause the pest guys are going to show up with little notice. And then you'll call and tell them that time doesn't work and they'll be annoyed with you because your schedule doesn't revolve around theirs. They'll also try to tell you that they can come over and spray outside without you being home. NOPE. I have a dog. So what? You're going to charge me $169 to spray the front of my house? What a rip off! And they say they'll make a note about the dog, but you'll still have this conversation every quarter because there is no note about a dog. So then you decide, lets just cancel the contract. I'm tired of all of this, especially when the product doesn't work. You check your early contract cancelation fee, and notice it's $250.00. Which is crazy! But at this point you also notice youre stuck for 2 more years, so it's cheaper to pay that, then continue with a product that doesn't work. You'll call, and then they'll tell you "lets do 1 more service, and then we will cancel your contract with the fee waived". You fall for it, but you'r not totally dumb, and when you don't receive an email or anything confirming after a couple of days you call again. Turns out, that last part was a lie! But this guy assures you, after 30 minutes of heated debate, he promises 1 more appointment at a reduced rate and then the account will be canceled and early termination fee waived. Again nothing is received to confirm any of that after a couple of days so you call a 3rd time. You ask the person you're speaking with if anything you've been told is noted on the account, and surprise it isn't! So then you spend another 30 minutes just repeatedly saying "You guys are all liars. Cancel my account right now. Charge me the $250. I want confirmation in my email right now." They'll continue to try and sell you the same lies as before, they'll try to sell you on a new 'approach to bug killing' And then they finally get the point and you're free of them. Update on my previous post. After posting a poor review for this lousy company I got a feedback from one of their bosses. He claimed he had no record of them doing work for us, though there is an account number and he had the address. This was to try and look like he cared and wanted to help to anyone reading it on Yelp. He said he was concerned and that this isn't how his company works. I gave him the address and got no response back. We just got another bill from them for $179.00, though we thought this was over. My Wife called and talked to them a couple of months ago and told them they hadn't taken care of the job. A manager claimed that there would be no more charges after going through several high pressure employees to get to him. As I stated in a previous post they are a high pressure company who goes around knocking on doors looking for unsuspecting, trusting victims like my Wife and use baiting techniques to get a two year contract signed. I just tried to send a message to their customer feedback and it wouldn't go through. How surprising. read more

Signed up for a 1-year contract. Services were totally ineffective, NOT even close to what they promised. We cancelled at the end of the contract year. They are going door-to-door using our name and saying we recommend them!!! Completely false and we are ready to file a cease and desist for using our name! We never approved that! They also state we are a current customer but we cancelled several months ago. One neighbor reached out to us because the salesperson was pounding on her doorand kept ringing herself to try to sell to her, again using our name! All I can say is that they are misleading and predatory. Their contract does not align with what the sales reps explain. It's only after you sign (trusting the rep to be honest) do you discover the extent they have trapped you. They will suck every dollar from you...and their service is sub-par. Tried to charge me for an additional visit after cancellation (and after I honored my contract) and charge me $185 for a 20 minute visit where the technician missed an obvious wasp next swarming above my door. The rats they promised to address got worse with their service. They do not honor a cancellation request- and the service is poor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! -just got a generic response from the company, thanks for your kind words. Back up your sentiments by dropping the unauthorized charges! If I could give this place negative stars I would. My husband signed us up for a 2 year contact after someone came to our door selling their services and telling us how great they were. My husband told him that we had a big hornet's nest in our eaves and showed him where it was, and asked if he would take care of it. The guy said no problem, they'll get it when they come on their first visit. After 6 months I noticed that we were having a spider and hornet problem and I told my husband that we needed to get someone to come out and take care of them. He said that we should have been having someone come for the last 6 months and that he signed us up for Ecoshield, who said that they would take the hornets nest down 6 months ago. I told him that I had never seen a soul in our yard and that the nest was still up there. He said we had been getting charges from them so I called Ecoshield and told them what horrible service they have and told them to cancel our contract. But guess what? Even though they don't live up to their end of the contract, they make you keep yours. No matter what! They said we could pay them the balance we owed them for the 2 year contract but if not we couldn't do anything about it. I complained and even asked to talk to managers, etc. but they wouldn't budge. They even said that they would send it to a collections agency if we didn't keep paying them. They DID however say that they would send someone out to take care of the hornets nest and spray for spiders, which was REALLY big of them. When the guy came, he spent exactly 5 minutes on my property and then drove away. I went outside to see what he had done, and only half of the hornets nest was gone, and he didn't touch anything else (I check our security cameras). Nothing was done for the spider problem, so I called AGAIN and complained and even sent them the footage from the cameras. They had to send someone out again to take care of the spiders and get the rest of the hornets nest down AS I WATCHED THE WHOLE TIME TO SUPERVISE AND MAKE SURE THEY ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING THIS TIME. Wow, if a company can't do what they say they're going to do, then why am I paying them good money? To summarize a very long story......don't listen to the sweet talkers as they come to your door to sell you a contract to take care of your pest problem. Do not use this company! We used them for a summer and they made our bug problem worse. Every time they sprayed we would get even more bugs. We never had a problem with bugs inside our home but once we started using eco shield we started seeing bugs inside of our house. We used to just spray on our own for our outside bugs and never had any problems. ALSO, once we canceled and asked for a refund they added an additional charge to our account and sent us to collections. We did not owe anything, in fact, they didn't even fully refund us what they promised they would. So we got sent to collections for a debt we didn't owe causes us more of a hassle. Terrible Experience with EcoShield. Would Not Recommend. I regret signing up with EcoShield. The first service was okay but the bugs were back within a week. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for the second service, hoping it would be better. The tech showed up, sat in his car for a few minutes, then left. I was brushing my teeth when he pulled up and by the time I went out to leave for work, he had already driven off. He was never at my house for more than 5 minutes and did absolutely nothing. I requested a refund and they said they'd give me 50 percent back. I waited and waited and never got it. I called multiple times and kept getting the runaround. I told them I wanted to cancel if the refund wasn't issued. Still nothing. Then today, while I was at work, they showed up again and charged me again. When I called to cancel once and for all, they suddenly told me I was locked into a 5-service contract. This was the first time I had ever heard that. I immediately called the sales rep, Andrew, who signed me up. I asked him several times during the initial sales pitch on my front porch if I had to commit to more than one service, and every single time he said no. My wife was with me and heard the entire conversation. Neither of us would have agreed to any kind of long-term contract. When I brought this up to Andrew over the phone, he completely denied ever saying that. It was frustrating and honestly felt like I was being gaslit. EcoShield's customer service is awful, their work is ineffective, and their sales practices are misleading at best. I work with the largest real estate company in Utah. We refer services like this to hundreds of clients every year. A service technician came by my house and offered their services. So he said we could pay for a 1 month trial and said if their are still bugs they will come and fix it for free. They came and sprayed and the next 3-4 weeks we continued to have issues with spiders ants and snails. So we called to have them come back and fix it. They came back and sprayed but we received a bill for it on top of the first months payment. Don't say it's free to come back and fix our issue if you are going to charge us for it. On top insisting we pay for the call back they want to charge us $135 to get out of our contract which we never knew existed. We would have never gone with this company had we known all their fees. I wish I could give 0 stars! What a horrible company. We certainly regret signing up for pest control through them! They came to our door, ignoring our no soliciting sign and my husband answered the door. We had seen an uptick in spiders so he decided to sign up. After several treatments we decided to cancel. My husband called in August to cancel and they convinced him to just put the account on hold for 6 months which would be February. Today (October), they came without informing us, treated our yard and charged us $120 for a service that wasn't supposed to happen. Now they're saying it's 6 months from our last treatment not when we called and that they can't do anything. Even if that were true, our last service was in May and 6 months would be November so they're still just doing whatever they want. It took my husband over an hour with two different representatives to get them to actually cancel the service. They kept trying to upsell him, convince him to just put it on hold until March, and repeated the same thing over and over again. I finally had to tell the representative to knock it off and just cancel. Now we're on the phone with our credit card company to block them from charging us again because we can't believe that they won't just randomly show up again because they feel like it.
