Long term 'kratomite' here ...the product itself is consistently amazing here , up there with the best kratom shops I've ever visited , and would say based on the last couple years , that it edges out the local competition in the quality/price department , any day of the week imo . This isn't a tobacco shop. It's a kratom shop. The employees are wonderful and the store is lovely- but the actual substance is EXTREMELY addictive. I went there for a legitimate medical condition and the kind employee told me it was as addictive as coffee. This is a blatant lie. Kratom acts as an opiate and is easy to get hooked on and unbelievably hard to get off of. Please be thoughtful about using it. read more

I've been coming to this shop for a couple years and have always had an awesome experience. Nicky is a sweetheart and really all the staff makes you feel more like a friend then a customer. The Kratom is good quality and a fair price. This is the OG shop in San Diego and the only one I will be going too, despite the desperate pleas of the shop that stupidly opened next door. Not the smartest business move, let's just say. Kratom helped me quit drinking a year ago and has had multiple other benefits as I know it's done for others! I came here because I wanted try Kratom for the first time since 2019, from a safe place and in order to avoid getting sick from Kratom again, a privilege I was willing to pay for. So I went away from the shady smoke-shops and towards a more controlled and regulated option - what looked to be a healthy botanical option. I bought $15 and 3 varieties of capsules in order to get a good sampling before I bought the powder-form. I was even prepared to give a good review and return after I found their product to be effective. The first day I took the Kratom, I felt a nice slight energy and euphoria. Then I began to feel congested, I took a second pill the next day and proceeded to feel more sick than I've been in over a year, my nose was running, my head throbbing, my stool was oddly colored, my stomach hurt, I felt fatigued, like I was being colonized by bacteria. I am almost certain that I have had Salmonella poisoning for the last week, which I am only now recovering from. I am confident that if this product were tested, it would come up positive for Salmonella in all nearly all the capsules I purchased. Additionally, since this company purports to be cGMP sourced, it is probably highly likely that they are misrepresenting their heavy metal levels as well. This is beyond disrespectful to waste a good portion of my week bedridden because a company is cutting corners on testing, and not even advising capsule purchasers to cook-off Salmonella that is very likely in their product. I still have unopened merchandise because I am considering getting it tested for the above mentioned Salmonella and heavy metals - a kit of 10 petri dishes for Salmonella is $28 for a brand called HardyCHROM, and that may be worth it. I may never use Kratom again, and if I do, it will be from American growers who use clean water, harvest it with sanitary methods, and store and package in safe ways. To those considering this store, please be advised; grow your own Kratom, or buy it from American growers - not overseas in South East Asia, where the FDA or U.S. Agricultural Laws cannot regulate or reach. read more

I always love coming here because the vibes are always immaculate. I stop in for what should be a 5 minute errand and stay for 30 because Matt (the tall guy) and I will get into awesome conversations with depth, the other customers will join in as they come and go and it's such a welcoming vibe. The customer service is top notch. Matt and Nicole are knowledgeable but personable and show a deep interest in every customer that walks through that door, new or regular. The product is also top tier and their quality is incredible and most important CONSISTENT in that quality because of their supply chain being direct, short and personal with two vendors they trust. The cash only thing isn't a deference. I'd rather stop at the bank on the way and get that top shelf customer experience and top shelf quality. They have some really good deals as well with their collection and the rewards system has really helped me in a pinch a few times. Personal Fav's and Recs (by vein color) -Red Bali for night pain -Red Maeng Da for my chronic pain during the day/evening as it's not as sedative but great for pain -Gold Bali for social events as it's the best one for my personal anxiety - Green Maeng Da for my depression (seriously it's been a life saver during this unusually gloomy and rainy SD winter) -Not as versed on the whites but have tried the Thai and it got my day going but without the jitters of caffeine overload. -Some awesome extracts as well. Black diamond is my go to for breakthrough pain. They've got everything you're looking for, and Matt and Nikki will be able to guide you through the options clearly to help you find what's best for you. I'm not one to talk down on anybody else as I think the quality speaks for itself, but having tried all of the surrounding spots Bumble Bee Botanicals has earned my loyalty. I went to bumblebee botanicals for the first time about two months ago. The customer service gal was sweet, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and her understanding of my questions and needs were met with experience and graciousness. The store is simple but welcoming and actually perfect! The second time I went in there was a week ago and the same gal was there, and she was again very willing and able to talk to me about my needs. The environment is the furthest from a smoke shop that you can get... it's like an upscale cooking store, bright and clean, with stylish displays. Prices are similar to other high quality product and prices decrease as you buy more.
