Meh I dunno. This was our third spot. They were fairly friendly not extremely knowledgeable or willing to chat about much. There was only one other person in there so not like we were holding up a lot. Got a lot of "discounts" that by the end didn't really seem very discounted. Overall the 3 stars is based on the flower. We got 3 varieties. All 30% plus somewhat higher shelf but not the highest still, the quality just wasn't there. All 3 just don't taste good, the high doesn't seem very clean, and the smoke is kind of harsh. Really wanted to like them but just overall have to be honest there is a lot better around. read more

I would not recommend them. I specifically said to Josh that I needed a balm without a scent. He sent me a balm with a very powerful mint scent, like Vapo Rub. They used to be a lot better, all about customer satisfaction. Now they seem to focus on the bottom line instead. Or their communications are in disrepair. I was supposed to get a 20 dollar discount by purchasing over 100 dollars. Never happened. They did apply a 20 store discount the next time I come in. Which will likely be never. If you are going to use Urbn, go to the store, do not use a driver. My driver was great, and I tipped him 15 bucks. I'm saying not to use a driver because if your order isn't correct, Urbn will do nothing to rectify the situation. Taxes are high. Make sure you get a med card first at any dispensary. Recreational tax can be up to a quarter of your order. read more

It had been forever since I'd visited a dispensary and to be honest it was for good reason. I got tired of waiting in lines, the drive getting there, the prices seem inflated, and Covid in general. After last night and my visit to Urbn Leaf I can't say that I'll be hopping to every dispensary in town but I'll certainly be heading back to Urbn Leaf, at least this location. There was no wait when I arrived around 6:30pm and I was quickly checked-in at the front. While I had been to the Morena Blvd location many times before, this was my first visit to the El Cajon Blvd location and it carries the same appealing aesthetic and curated shopping experience - very Covid friendly! My guy was, Gage (Gauge?). We'll call him Gage-Gauge moving forward since I have no idea how he spells it. This dude was chipper, knowledgeable, and quick to pull out some of his recommendations based on my past preferences. We started landing on a few things, all of which I had tried in the past before he hit on a new product that appealed to me. Additionally, Gage-Gauge mentioned that this particular product was buy one and get a second for only a penny. Okay, wipe the counter clean and stack up a bunch of those - sold! $100 later and Gage-Gauge had me well stocked and waking up today I can tell you that it was the best night sleep that I've had in weeks. The products that Gage-Gauge suggested worked well in winding me down for the night and getting my fat ass to bed. Sleeping throughout the night is always a challenge and while I know I'll grow out of these products it's nice knowing that a new solution is out there, I'll just need the professional bud-tender guidance by Gage-Gauge and I'll be fine. Hi there guys I'm a United States Navy veteran and an avid THC user and advocate I deal with post-traumatic stress disorder like a lot of my brethren and I find that pot helps in a way that a lot of medication can't. The last two years I've been an avid customer of Urbn leaf and recently I tried the La Mesa location and the first couple times were great but after this last time I will not be returning as long as a certain employee is still there. The assistant manager Aiden was absolutely amazing as a helper and knowledge of product. He went out of his way to provide cartridges that I found to be very amazing which was their own house cartridges and was very respectful and kind. So you're probably wondering where the problem is? The problem lies in their manager. The man was extremely rude to me did not want to help me and called me a liar repeatedly I spend my money all of my money every weekend there and one thing that is known is their point system is a complete disaster their assistant manager Aiden admitted as much to me stating that the biggest reported problem lied in the point system when switching between locations. He had even agreed to comp me on my next purchase because he could personally vouch for the fact that I was a repeat and avid customer. when I went in he was not there but the manager was and was a complete jerk he made fun of me and my disability I'm terminally ill and thus my limbs shake because I don't get very good air flow to my body because I have half a heart he made fun of my shaking and and repeatedly called me a liar and doubted that I was even a customer there even after I had already stated I was there because there was a problem with the system not tallying my points. I tried to show him the evidence on my phone and he tried using the broken system as evidence of my not being a customer there at all. he repeatedly denied it and would not look at my evidence I will never ever go back to that store. And I hope none of my brothers or sisters will go there as well for fear that they may be made fun of if they having a disability that is obvious to the onlooker namely the manager. If contacted by the owner and my points being fixed would bring me back. I've spent hundreds of dollars there especially the last few months and there are employees that would atest to this. read more
