GREAT MASSAGE! GROSS LOCKER ROOM, SERIOUSLY GROSS! I've been on the hunt for a good spa in Baton Rouge since moving here, let's just say I'm still looking. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and warmly welcomed my sister and I to the spa. We arrived early to take advantage of the hot tub but were disappointed and disgusted by it so quickly moved on to the quiet room within minutes of arriving. The locker room at Bumble Lane is not up to spa standards. It was musty smelling, and appeared to have not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. There was STUFF FLOATING AROUND IN THE HOT TUB (which was way too hot to get in beyond knee level) and BIG CHUNKS OF DUST HANGING FROM THE LIGHTS - see photos. Even the quiet room wasn't clean or tidy - there were empty, used plates and glasses on all the side tables and a used towel on one of the chaise lounges. No spa blankets to cozy up with either. I'm used to someone coming through the quiet room to clear dishes, fold blankets and make the space feel likes it's just been refreshed for me! Our services started on time and were both excellent. I had Day (not sure on the spelling of her name) and I'm not sure who my sister had but she really enjoyed it. - - - I wrote to Bumble Lane sharing my feedback, they replied a few days later with the below message... Hi, Thank you so much for your feedback. We really appreciate what you have to say as a patron. I am delighted that you both enjoyed your massages. I am extremely sorry about the unpleasant portion of your experience. The whirlpool is adjusted continually as requested to fit every person's preference. So we do struggle in that area to make sure it's comfortable for everyone. We encourage guests to shower prior to getting in the whirlpool because the lotion does leave a residue. We have taken care of the whirlpool and are currently working on a deep clean for the spa. Once again, thank you so for your feedback and I will pass along your report about your massage to Day. We look forward to seeing you in the future. Thank You, Ciara - - - I responded back with the following later that day and have yet to hear anything back... I appreciate your response. I wanted to follow up with an email containing the photos I took so you could see what was in the hot tub wasn't residue from lotion but trash or something else (cellophane like) in there. You can zoom in to the upper left filter, this debris floated to the too of the tub when the jets were on. Also included is a photo of the dust hanging from the ceiling. When paying over $100 for a "spa" experience, I expect the facilities to be maintained better and at least clean. I appreciate your response, however I am disappointed by your lack of interest in understanding my concerns further or offering me a consolation for my experience or time I've dedicated to sharing feedback with you. In summary - if cleanliness of a spa and good guest service from the Management team of an establishment is important to you - Bumble Lane is not the place for you. Bumble Lane has been my favorite spa to go to in Baton Rouge. The massages are good but not fantastic. What keeps me coming here is the vibe you get. I never want to leave. The relaxation room is just what it intends, relaxing. I only wish the men and women had a separate room. I'm always paranoid that I'm going to flash someone especially when I was pregnant. Their prices are also very high so it's not something I can splurge on as often as I'd like. read more

Great experience. There are lockers to put your belongings. I love the waiting area. It is stocked with water and fruit. It has a very relaxing environment before being called for your massage. I brought my swim suit and took advantage of the jacuzzi. It was a very relaxing experience and worth the money. read more

I got a gift card for here from a friend and I heard they sold amazing skincare products. I get a lot of redness from my Rosacea and frequent cystic acne so I figured I'd treat myself to some "high end" skin care. I walked in having no clue what I was looking for or what would help. Then I met Brad! He was super helpful! I informed him I was on a budget and He asked what my concerns were for my skin and gave me samples and told me to try them out and come back and get what I loved. Sure enough I fell in love with the eminence calm skin mask and calm skin booster. And I'll be going back soon for the clear skin mask and chamomile moisturizer for my acne and dryness! I love this place!! I could stay there all day. I got a gift card for a 20-20-20 massage. It was good but I prefer more attention on my back and this specific one focuses on scalp neck feet and shoulders/back. I was very pleased by everything! The snack area was nicely stocked. Very nice, relaxing atmosphere! I had a gift certificate for a manicure. They brought me to a relaxation room to wait where there were snacks and lemon water. Waited a bit longer than I expected. The nail salon was very nice, but it seems like they are used to doing only one thing. I threw them off by picking 2 colors, but the nail tech gave me a beautiful manicure with a little design on one finger. They do not do acrylics, which I was ok with me since I like my nails short, but I know some women like them. read more

Having never had a professional massage before, I booked an appointment at Bumble Lane recently. They were very friendly and helpful , making sure I was comfortable in this new environment. They served water and tea in the waiting room, which was designed to be calming and restful. My masseuse asked plenty of questions to make sure I was comfortable. Received a gift certificate to Bumble Lane from my husband for a day at the spa. I started with a 90 minute message which was the best massage I have ever received, left me relaxed and feeling wonderful. I then had a facial which was absolutely amazing, felt like 10 years had been erased from my face. I love the products that they use!! I then received a full Brazilian, which I have to say was the best one I've had. The ladies at Bumble Lane have this technic down pat, quick and painless. I enjoy going to Bumble Lane for most of my services, but not nails or eyebrow waxing. That can be done better elsewhere for less. And I'm a little OCD about the refreshment setup. Twice the glasses have not been clean when I visited, but I still enjoy my facials and massasages. read more

The 60 minute "customized" facial was not that great. When I asked the esthetician what products she used and why, she told me what products she used but skipped the "why" part. The worst part was that my face felt very greasy when I left the spa... not soft and rejuvinated as it has felt when I have gotten facials elsewhere. I don't mind paying $85 for a facial but I shouldn't have to wash my face when I leave a facial. read more

Bumble Lane does not treat their employees right, they take advantage of their location to take advantage of people. They are very unprofessional and judgmental. If you aren't pretty, skinny, or rich don't bother with this spa. If you need skincare products, go to Sephora. The return policy there is way better, and the employees are trained more and a lot nicer. Also, they will not judge you on what clothes you wear or how you look. They underpay their massage therapists and estheticians, even though their prices are high. If you want to support a local spa that is doing things right, this is not the place to go. read more

I would totally return to Bumble Lane for another massage. It was very enjoyable. The employees were very friendly. The spa itself was super clean, big, and very nice. The relaxation area was great. Loved the dim lights, comfy couches and chairs, free snack and drinks (hot tea or water with lime, I think), and fruit. My only complaint about the beverage and snack area was that the fruit, bananas in particular, were very far from ripe. When I bit into it after my massage, it was not a very enjoyable taste. My masseuse, Danielle, was very sweet. When I go to get a massage, I'm there to relax and not chit chat etc. I was able to do just that. The women's locker room was very clean and had lots to offer: a hot tub, couple showers stocked with towels, shampoo, and conditioner etc. They also had what I would call a beauty bar basically with blow dryer, curling iron, deodorant, perfume, lotion etc. The products that they had to offer looked very enticing. Went there during the week bc I assumed that it would be too crazy during the weekend.Got a Brazilian(might be TMI,but anyway) from a girl named Sara & she made it a pleasant experience even though it hurt like hell. This wasn't my first time to get one so I already knew what to expect. She made me very comfortable & things were not awkward like most ppl would expect.I got there a couple of minutes before my appt.,checked in with the girls up front & a couple of minutes later Sara came to get me & took me to the back.She was very quick & professional,I would definitely recommend her to others.I don't really know much about their other services bc I've only had a pedicure there once & it was a long time ago but I do know that they are ver pricey here.As far as the price for the Brazilian,it pretty much was the same as all the other places.I don't know how many girls there do Brazilians but definitely make an appt.with Sara. read more

I was not impressed with the manicure I received this past Friday. I happened to be in Baton Rouge for the weekend, as I live in New Orleans, but decided to make an appointment at one of my (used to be) favorite places. The appointment started off wrong when I arrived slightly early. I was fine with shopping around the store and looking at things until the actual time. The technician walked out to bring me back into the nail area and called me by the incorrect name and I corrected her and she said "yeah that's what I meant." As soon as I sat down she said just so you know I'm taking you back early. I'm not sure what she meant by that but it sounded as though she was letting me know she was doing me a favor. The manicure was rushed, roughly done and not relaxing in the least bit. The nail area was also dirty, which was disappointing. I felt like I was in a run of the mill nail shop, than a relaxing spa. I used to love to come to bumble lane for manicures and massages but honestly I can see the quality of service has gone down over the years. read more

I recently moved to Baton Rouge and had been in search of a good spa. I decided to try Bumble Lane after receiving a recommendation from a friend. There were some iffy reviews online, so I was unsure what to expect. However, after experiencing them for myself, I certainly don't regret it! I went with a friend and we had amazing couple's massages. From the time we stepped in the door, everything was clean, nice, and quiet...exactly the way a spa should be. The changing/shower rooms were spacious and accommodating and the relaxation room was so cozy! Our massage therapists were very attentive and professional. The hot rocks were the icing on the cake. The only critique that I'd give is that it was on the pricier end as far as massages that I've had. I'd still definitely recommend bumble lane and I will absolutely be going back! read more

Amazing experience!!! This was my first 60 min massage and it was wonderful. Caitlyn was my masseuse and she was excellent, She helped me relax and feel at home.
