Bumps & Bundles has lots of maternity clothes, if you need to try things on or don't want to buy everything online. If you're pregnant and live in the Denver area it might be worth your while to check out this little consignment shop. Don't bother looking for new retail maternity clothes in Denver. They don't exist. Bumps & Bundles have lots of baby and children's clothes, several strollers when I was there, a nice upholstered small rocker, etc. The woman working there said they get new stuff in all the time. This would also be a good place to sell stuff you're finished with. The downside is that they only stay open till 4pm and are closed on Sunday and Monday. Forget going after work. She's open Saturday. She walked out at 3:57 the Wednesday we stopped by. We got a sandwich next door and were eating outside and saw her leave. My eyebrows went up a little...just sayin'. read more

Wonderful maternity and baby consignment store! We were enjoying the beautiful fall weather in Golden and I remembered that Bumps & Bundles was here! The store has a great selection of baby and maternity clothes, and the owner is lovely - she greeted us immediately and was very engaging and friendly. All of her merchandise is in pristine condition and she takes meticulous care and has very fair prices. We found a stunning handmade Alpaca cardigan for our little one that was a steal and a really cute onesie we think will be perfect to bring our little one home from the hospital in. The owner of this place drives me absolutely crazy. Not a very good selection and VERY overpriced. You can definitely get better deals on new clothing at target or Carter's if you shop sales. A lot of the clothing in this store is dirty and worn out. And the owner is VERY pushy. She tried SO HARD to get me to buy a ratty old nursing bra that quite frankly I wouldn't wear if it was free. Sad that this place isn't great, it's so close to my house. Oh and if you're trying to sell clothing, she'll likely pay 25 cents per item and then try to sell it for almost retail. The only plus I can think of is that she sometimes has cute baby shoes. read more

Went in today for some maternity dresses and it was a great experience. The owner was there and was super nice. I was able to try dresses on and they even have a bump to wear so you know things will fit when you get bigger. She washes and irons everything herself. It was amazing! I WILL be back. I love going to Bumps and Bundles! They have a great selection of baby/kid clothes that are clean and neatly organized into gender and size. You don't have to rummage through things like other consignment stores. I find something for a great price every time I go. I once found a brand new boppy with a cover included for $20 (retail is $40-$50)! It's great to support local business too. They also have maternity clothes and baby gear. From what I see, they are picky with what they will take, so you know you are only getting the gently used items. I love shopping here and will continue to go back throughout mommyhood! read more

As far as consignment stores go, this is a good one. I am picky about used stuff, especially if I don't know who owned it previously. But I must say that Bumps and Bundles is a very clean consignment store that stocks quality items. We left with armloads of stuff and could have bought more had we not cut ourselves off. I'm happy to make the drive all the way to Golden just to shop there again. It is worth the trip from Denver. Good prices for well cared for baby gear. read more

I will never shop here again. Each time I have come in the owner has been incredibly rude, dismissive, unaccommodating and cheap. The last time I came in I was looking for a sun hat for my son. She said she had a whole bin of them in the back but "was clearly busy" so she wouldn't let me look at them. I was the only customer in the store and she was sitting behind the counter when I came in. Laziness lost her my business. Permanently. I would not recommend this store to anyone. This store is a fantastic spot to sell or buy baby/kids clothes, toys, strollers, etc. She always has what I need on hand and she gives fair prices for gently used items. I have to fully agree with the other 2 star review. I really wanted to love this store and was so excited to find it, but after several visits I just wouldn't recommend it to anyone. On multiple occasions the owner was overly pushy trying to get me to make purchases. All of the maternity clothes and baby items I have been interested in either sell for the same or sometimes even cheaper price online, especially if you just wait for a sale. And, many of the items are well worn. I also had the same consignment experience on multiple occasions. As the owner goes through the clothes she continuously describes how they're nice but not worth anything. And I did later find one of my items on sale for next to retail. She literally tried to tell me my $80 jeans were "homemade." When I told her they weren't, she then back-peddled to say she could tell they were high quality from the band, but that they are worn so not worth much (based on the distressing on the jeans, which came that way new...). I haven't been able to find an alternative used shop to this store for clothes, unfortunately. However, you're better off shopping for new items on sale. As for used baby items, like strollers or carriers - go Craigslist! I found the same brands, less worn items on Craigslist for half the price they're listed for in this store. I got all my bigger baby items this way and saved a ton of $$ for nearly new items. read more

Excellent selection of high quality baby gear! As a first time Grandma, lots of the products/brands were new to me, so the owner explained the pros and cons of various items. I got a travel crib, a top of the line infant car seat with an extra base and stroller, a swing that plays music and vibrates and a few cute clothes. All were clean and looked very gently used! I looked up the items on Amazon and discovered that "new" would have cost me almost 3 times as much! I'll bet my son will want to swap car seats with me as their new one isn't as versatile. Overpriced clothing and irresponsible about equipment: I was sold a Diaper Genie that ended up being a discontinued model. Luckily, I figured it out by searching for refills online same day and brought it back. You should know that this store only honors store credit, though, and most items are overpriced for being used goods. I ended up walking out with a $15 t-shirt which I NEVER would have purchased. The proprietor advised that she would not have sold the equipment to me if she had known it was discontinued. This is irresponsible of a business owner, who should know some basic info about the goods she is selling. read more

The items in this store are overpriced for a consignment store. Yes, it's clean and nice, but I can get brand new items from the same brand stores for the same prices she has marked on her clothing. If I want to spend a lot of money on something, I'll just get it brand new. Crib sets are $100, maternity shirts and jeans are $15-$20, and baby clothes are around $10 at least. I've been to plenty of other consignment stores that offer high quality clothing and baby items for a fraction of these costs. read more
