The course is well maintained with nice greens but the design is very flawed. Only one par three on the front and hole number six could easily be changed to a 140-150 yard par three. But the reason for this low rating is customer service and pace of play. Starting with people who don't seem to be able to figure out their computer system to farming their customer service to India to a starter who barrages you with minor issues like not driving your cart to the first tee too early but the brain dead moron sends foursomes off the back nine in front of groups making the turn! this has happened the three times I've played there this year! so we play the front nine in 1 1/2 hours but 3 hours waiting every shot on the back nine! I have reviewed Bunker in the past pretty low due to course operations, the new team that has taken over has really made a difference and has become my goto place for showing off our local offerings. We have our weekly outings there during the summer and couldn't be happier with how they treated us. We moved over from a different golf course in the area due to this. The course has been improving and the pace of play is normal, more importantly the offerings around outings, the food and of course the new golf simulators !! Chad is a great guy to work with and I am very pleased with the direction the golf course has headed. read more

We golf here with another couple a few times a year, usually on the holidays when they have tee time specials. Love this course and the layout, and have never had trouble with pace of play. The course is always in excellent condition and the staff is very, very friendly. You can't go wrong at this course. All of the above keeps us coming back year after year. read more

Best course in NE Ohio to AVOID !!! Very very slow !!!! They need to enforce the pace of play. Not a single Marshall monitoring pace on a Sunday afternoon. Never again at any price. Awful experience if you're about playing golf .... read more

Bunker Hill never disappoints. We play golf all over the area with the Tee Time Golf Pass book and Bunker Hill is always in as good of shape as any, and better than a lot. read more

Bunker Hill is an OK golf course. I play a ton and I don't play here much for 2 reasons - it is way too expensive for the type of course it is. It is just not a $48 course when I can play Pine Hills or Chippewa for a little more. Overall they are really nice there and the starter was great. read more

My 12U baseball team just had a fundraiser today, the weather was cold and rainy and we still had a blast. The guy Chad that I think runs all the fundraisers makes things super super easy. Normally when you do fundraisers you're in charge of organizing everything taking all the money but this place did everything for you, so I was able to be with all the families and engage guests. The golf course itself was maintained super nicely even with all the rain. The food was amazing everything from the clambake to the steak dinner to the Burger and fries for the kids. All the staff there from the waiters to the guys cleaning the carts to the DJ that helped host the event were top notch! We raised almost $3000 I will definitely be coming here next year to do it again. If you guys are hosting a party family get together, group outing, fundraiser this is the place to go! read more

It's a love/hate relationship for me on #9 & #19. My 2nd and 3rd shots on these 2 holes always get me into trouble on my way to 7 or 8. However, this past summer I almost eagle the par-4 after the par-5 hole around the lake. Of course, I made a birdie and won a skin on that. I'll always have it with me now. :) I always enjoy playing here. Love the speed of the greens as always. Different layout for a scenic round. BH is one of my favorite courses in the area. read more

Great time with a great 4 some. We had a foursome there recently (October 19th). Even though it rained steadily the night before, the course was in great condition and everyone there was extremely nice and helpful. We usually play here 3 or 4 times a summer and it has really improved over the last year. We will definitely be back. read more

My wife and I golfed there yesterday. We were really impressed at the condition of the course. The greens were fantastic. The views from the front nine were excellent. The staff in the club house were friendly. Typically people complain. We thought we should take the time to express our delight and we understand that it takes a team to make this happen. Particpated in a recent fundraiser benefitting Ohio Cheer Explosion. Between entry fees and sponsorships I was in for over 300.00, plus club rental for one of our group and a 50 dollar box of balls. Best thing I can say about the facility was the food was trmendous, and the pro shop folks were nice. We understand playing best ball and how to play scramble, the group in front of us did not, but we kept getting yelled at for slow play..we spent time donating money on the margarita hole, which was our bad I guess but that was the point of the fundraiser I thought.. the second time the course marshall yelled at us he ws very rude to one of the boosters in my party who helped raise funds and support for the event.. exact words were " a lot of people paid money to be here, and you are in the way".. then he tried to deny he was asking us to hurry up, rather he insisted he was "educating us on how to play.. again, hard to do when the group in front of us has four people playing out each of their balls and five putting.. your marshall liked yelling at the women in my group but ws respecful to me, and that in itself was disappointing...we are done with bunker hill, hard to realx and enjoy a FUNdraising event in that atmosphere. read more

Horrible paths, golf personnel work the course on the HOLE YOU ARE PLAYING! Yes you heard that right.

My husband nd I golfed there yesterday. The course itself was very nice, well kept, and challenging at times. If it were only that easy!! The rudeness of the staff and the other golfers made this a most unpleasant event. To the owners: Maybe you should teach your counter help some people skills. I mean, really, we were not at a top-notch country club for God's sake. The only person there who was not nasty towards newcomers was the man who met us in the parking lot and took us to the clubhouse. A $69 round of golf for us and indigestion and a bad taste from Medina's Nuevo-Rich insures that we will not return. Too many other choices in the area with MUCH friendlier service!! read more

I can't believe Bunker Hill charged me and 3 of my friends 48$ to play in late September and just after they had aerated more then half the greens. Used to be one of the best kept courses in the area. Today's overall condition was disappointing. None of us will ever play there again. Not worth it anymore! read more

Amazing food great customer service polite workers cooked just right fun atmosphere for family

Our round was soured from the start when we had to deal with the attitude running the register. This person was down right nasty. After our group settled down from being so angry because of this mans attitude, we finally were able to enjoy the course. The course was manicured nicely and we all enjoyed playing it. We were a little ticked at the threesome playing in an outing behind us, a scramble no less, that hit into us 4 times. I would play this course again, unless the same man was behind the cash register. If he is there, I would leave immediately. BEWARE read more

Bunker Hill is a beautiful and fairly well-maintained course out in Medina. The course offers a challenge primarily through its rolling hills and pronounced elevation changes. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed in the pace of play: Every shot was prefaced by much longer-than-usual wait times while, simultaneously, you felt pressured by the group behind you to swing quickly. This, for all but experienced and steel-nerved golfers, leads invariably to bad shots, bad moods, and a bad overall experience. They also seem to have moved all the tees a good portion closer to their respective holes--possibly with the thought that this would speed up play. Not only does this not solve the problem, but it leads to some absurd holes: Even for an intermediate golfer, a solid drive from the white tees on the 7th hole and you'll be putting for eagle. At the core, the only way to solve the problem is add in more space between tee times, which at $52 for 18 holes and a cart, you can get at many other courses. read more
