Very Disappointed with Bunting Disposal Service Review: I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Bunting Disposal in Greeley, Colorado. On [06062024], instead of emptying my trashcan as they were supposed to, the employees threw away my entire trashcan! I have a videotape that clearly shows this unacceptable behavior. This is not only an inconvenience but also an unnecessary expense for me. I expect better service and accountability from a company that is supposed to handle waste disposal professionally. I hope they take immediate action to rectify this situation. Keep in mind that if you get business from this company, they can easily take your trashcan and say it's cracked and toss it with no proof; no evidence; no rights. I have been a customer for 25 years now and the way in which I was just treated by Virginia was attcious. I called to have my garbage picked up, a yesterday was a Federal holiday, and I missed leaving the cans out on Sunday night. My normal pick up is Monday by 10 am. During the last 18 months, I have been missed many times. I have been very patient and a only to have the trash picked up. Now, when it could be my error as well as theirs, I get grilled about when I left the trash out! I just want the trash picked up! What is happening with customer service today and whom is Virginia to invite me to take my business elsewhere? Does Bunting have all the business they want? I called in March to cancel my service. no one answered so I left a voicemail letting them know I was cancelling my service in May. I called again in April, no answer. I left another voicemail asking them to call me back to confirm they knew I was cancelling. No call back. I called again and finally got a human. I told them I was cancelling and they told me I had alreaday paid for May. I told them I cancelled in March. I was told that I needed to talk to a person to cancel so it's my fault. no refund was given for May. customer service is very poor. read more

I had Bunting Disposal for several years and recently was approached by a new disposal company and offered a lower monthly charge. Since I'm retired and live alone I decided to give the new company a try and attempted to cancel service with Bunting Disposal. I've called four times over the last four weeks to cancel their service and request a refund of the payment for the next month already sent to them by my bank. Every time I've called I've been given a different answer, in other words, the run-around. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Please do not use this company, you will regret it. read more

Bunting is by far hands down the best waste company I've dealt with. We highly recommend them. We have both recycling and standard trash pick up. The crew from each service are great. Always running and always have a smile and a quick hello to f they see us out. They always pick up whatever we have out to dispose of. I have been a customer of Bunting since 2018. I decided to go with them because they had a lower price then some of the other trash services. Don't be fooled by the lower price. They are the worst company that I have ever dealt with they argued with me for months about a missed payment. I was told it was for the month of October so I sent them a copy of the check (that was cashed) and then they said it was for February. I proceed to send them copies of every check going back to the beginning of the year and there was no missed payments. They then told me they had mixed me up with another customer. They frequently don't even bother to pick up my trash and when they do they miss some bags at the bottom of the can. Just when I thought they couldn't be any worse I woke up to a note from them stating that "we are sorry we missed you". I talked to supposedly the owner who told me they must of tried to repossess the can, but he would tell them not to. He also told me not to put the can out for that week. I thought all of this was behind me because they emptied the can the following week, but the very next day they took my can. When I called nobody could tell me why. I'm switching trash companies to Mountain High Trash, hopefully they will be better. read more

An unbelievably inconsiderate tenant just moved out, and saddled me with a pile of stuff in the garage that I had to haul to the dump . . . . along with a full trash bin full of rotting food. I switched from NDC when they were bought out by Waste Management with whom I've had previous experience. I didn't want to deal with the large corporate Waste Management with added fees and rules. I have been very happy with the Bunting DIsposal crew that services my neighborhood. They are always quick and friendly leaving no messes behind. They sometimes will return my cart from the street to house which I very much appreciate. I have recently had need to have a dresser, three mattresses, a mattress topper and some paneling hauled away. I had only to call the day before and was given an estimate. Since I am a current customer I only needed to have the items curbside with my trash bin on my regular collection day. On the morning of pick-up I let Bunting know that someone took the dresser the night before collection so they could adjust their crew/trucks if necessary and was pleasantly surprised to be given the option to credit my account or have a refund for the non-removal of the dresser. This was on top of their EXCEPTIONALLY REASONABLE quoted price (I had made a number of inquiries for quotes to have this removal completed.) My only regret is that the name of the woman who assisted me with my quote escapes me and would have liked to name her as she was most pleasant and helpful. read more

When my kids forget to take the trash cans out to the curb, Bunting will run up to the side of the house and get the cans themselves. Since the purchase and poor handling of NCD by WM, Bunting became our service provider. One of their bins, a bin of ours, and a third is okay if it is in place of bags for branches and yard clippings. Less plastic bags is good for the environment, right? The guys were great. Then about a few months ago things started getting messed up. Trash was left when left on the driveway due to traffic at the curbside and not blocking the sidewalk. Months going by and no bills. The third bin of yard clippings and branches being left. Now we are being told we need to rent another bin and call in the third can weekly with an additional charge of $5. Customer service is out the door. This is not what we agreed to when we came aboard, two bins and a third for branches or grass clippings, this was not "unlimited" as they like to repeat. I've been a customer for a long time. The last several months, I kept getting skipped for trash pick-up for my dumpster, and had made several phone calls to try and figure out why we kept getting skipped, and the woman I spoke with told me they would sort it out and apologized. The next time I called (after getting skipped for another 2 pick ups), she told me that they would not refund those weeks because I had not let them know soon enough??? I told her this was a consistent issue and I can't make a phone call day of, as it is a commercial rental property and I don't go by every week to check if the trash has been picked up. I assume that they just do it, because that's what I'm paying for. I asked her to check the GPS on the trucks, and she did, and said that they indeed skipped one of the weeks in question (and refunded me that week), but the GPS tracker was not working for the other week, so there was nothing she could do about it. Basically, no refund and total disregard for my word, like I wasn't being truthful. I am disappointed by the customer service I received, especially from a small family owned company. read more

Terrible, the dump is 7 miles from my home, thier office is 20 minutes away and they tell me they dont service my address!

I've been a loyal customer since I moved to Windsor more than 14 years ago. I've referred Bunting to my family, friends and neighbors multiple times. On Monday, the trash collectors forgot to pick up bags next to my trash bin. I called and spoke with someone, and they told me that since the driver was still in the area, they will swing back by and pick them up. No one ever came. I called again on Monday to ask why the bags weren't picked up, and was told that I would have to wait till someone could come on Wednesday to pick them up. So I move the bags back into my garage and on Wednesday I brought them out again to have them picked up . Again, no one picked up the bags. My wife called today around 1 o'clock, and she was assured that someone would pick them up, but again no one came. I called two more times this afternoon to try to get you guys to fix the mistake. The people I spoke with today were the most unprofessional, and rude employees I've ever dealt with Bunting. Bunt will do you good and treat you nice when you are a new customer. Their website has fake or cherry picked reviews on it. They stopped billing me in August. It's now December with no trash service and months of trash on my property and they still charged me for service never provided. When I called and showed up in person to pay the bill in full, they literally denied my cash, only just over 100$, and sent my bill to collections. Why? I had the payment in full and spoke to someone about paying. And at Christmas time no less. They will blame you for them not using envelopes to give your bill privacy so not everyone can see it. The bill is literally a 4 inch post card. They don't operate like a family run business since 1968. The actual laborers act more like teaked out bouncers that need drug testing. If your going to do business with these guys and maybe your just a regular person with a family like me, or not, but ether way, this company will deny your payments when you fall behind to cover your Christmas for your kids. They sent my 100$ bill I offered to pay in full, to collections. You know what. That will be disputed and I'll never pay it. Especially since they blame the consumer for the services bunting itself uses. read more

We have used Bunting Disposal for close to three decades. They are awesome! They are very consistent with their service, and they take everything we set out, such as a few extra items in addition to our regular trash receptacle (grass bags, etc.). The company we left wouldn't take anything that didn't fit in the closed receptacle. I couldn't imagine ever leaving Bunting. They are great!! read more

This trash pick up mom & pap company is one of the worst business in Greeley. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to pay your money to buy a headache. This is the 2nd week in a row they didn't pick up our recycle in our neighborhood. Tried to call them but they did nothing. They will give you empty promise that they don't follow through. Their stupid excuse was they didn't have enough drivers. Why are they in business if they don't do their job while charging me my money? I have been a customer of Bunting since 2001. I use the every other week recycle and weekly trash pick up. Bunting always picks up everything set at the curb, sometimes multiple bags of grass clippings or tree branches from summer and fall clean up. I never get an extra charge. I've never had to call about a missed pick up either. I would definitely recommend this local company! read more

We had them for about 4 years. Initially, service was excellent. Last year I was approached by a competitor and they offered us a lower rate than we were paying Bunting. I called and Bunting happily met that price. After that, they would miss us on trash day, and the front office person was quite rude, promising credit for days missed, then complaining that our rate was so low. I cancelled service in writing, no reply. The bill was paid in full and I asked them to pick up their container. The same gal argued with me again. Going into another month of them still not picking up their container, I expect they will try to bill me another month....won't happen. I documented everything. I absolutely love Bunting. Grew up in Fort Collins where Gallegos is the main trash company and all they did was harass us. Bunting is the exact opposite. Have never given us a hard time about anything we throw away, always pick up what we put out and their customer service is great. I wish my mom could have Bunting in Fort Collins. A couple of years ago, I would have had no issue giving them a 5 star rating. My wife and I both felt they were the 'go to' choice for us because of their great reviews and the fact that they are local (Greeley). We highly believe in giving our business, as much as possible, to local business and supporting our community. But then, we moved do a different location in Greeley. We immediately told Bunting we had moved and so, they started our service with the new crew. That's when everything went 'sideways'. First, they didn't come when they said they would be there. Day, after day, after day, for two weeks, the crew didn't bother coming down the street and picking up our trash. We found this odd, as they have to come to the end of our block because our neighbors at the end of the block have Bunting. Then, they actually did come..after several, and I do mean several, calls to Bunting. Then, it happened again. We have a fairly strict HOA and so, we were persistent in calling them and trying to get them to pick up the trash we had put out. The second time they finally came, we had put some extra trash out. We cleared it with Bunting first and paid for the extra service up front. When they finally came again, they simply looked at what we had put out and then took a picture and drove on...they didn't even pick up the regular trash, much less the extra we had put out. When we again called Bunting, they called the crew and the crew said there was much more than they had bargained for. Bunting said we would need to pay more...we said, "No problem....just come get the trash please". When the guys came back, they were PISSED!!! They threw our trash cans around and tossed the lids up the driveway. We had some folks painting the house at the time and they were in complete disbelief...they stopped what they were doing and moved as far away from the angry crew as possible. Then, they guys saw that I was filming them on my phone. They went and got the trash cans and lids that they had tossed around and set them back up and put the lids on them and left. We called Bunting and told them about everything and we were basically ignored and dismissed. Rather than fighting with that crew and calling Bunting again and again every week to get our trash picked up and then having to wait two to three weeks every time, we then switched trash services to NCD. NCD just sold to WM. Again, we are adamant about trying to keep the business local. So, we are going to see about Gallegos Trash Service. Bunting we would love to go local with you, but, you completely broke our trust. And, for anyone that is interested, the neighborhood is at 71st and 20th.....DO NOT get Bunting if you live around there...that crew is the most rude and horrible trash crew I have seen in my life. read more

after paying upfront for 4 months was missed on first day of pickup. called company, they sent truck back. everything seemed to be good until the person picking up trashcan said it was too heavy and it should not be that full (had 2 bags in it). he then pushed my trash can over causing damage to it. 2nd week, got missed again. this time i put out small trash can, very light. truck arrived very late (after office personnel had left for day). the trash can was dumped then left in the gutter upside down. read more
