But I specifically said I wanted a carpet that would withstand the malice of pets and tenants. I was given 2 samples via text. Probably only what was in stock at the time. Went with one. It's EXTREMELY light in color when viewed in person. As in you may sneeze in the other room and the carpet will stain. So that part was not at all what I wanted. When I sent my "review" to the salesperson so I wouldn't post it here publicly, he told me to GO BUY CLEANING PRODUCTS. Sounded like a middle finger to me. Thanks a lot, Fabian! Our kitchen floor was at least 40 years old and looked like something some previous owner scrounged from the dump and then had some out-of-work relative install. It was gross. My apartment building used Burbank Carpet to redo the floors in our apartment this past July. They ripped out the old carpet from the bedroom and newer pergo wood flooring from the living& dining area and put down Konecto floors throughout those areas. Im not quite sure where the miscommunication happened, between the building managers,& Burbank Carpet. But, I was very explicit in my emails about installation dates,& color. It was a good thing that I had stopped in to meet Fabian. Not only were the dates for installation wrong, but they had ordered the wrong color flooring too! Fabian was really great in fixing both problems. Ordered the correct color,& accommodated the dates that it was supposed to be. When problems arise, it says alot about a company as to how things are handled in order to rectify an issue. The floors turned out pretty. However,the baseboards as nice as they seemed to be, were omitted in one area of the dining room under a built in cabinet, and none of the holes were filled in from the nails. I contacted them about this, asking if they were coming back to finish it,& was told no, that the baseboard product would crumble if it was cut lengthwise to accommodate the fit needed. Im not quite sure if it was laziness, on their part or crappy cheap product being used, for that to be such a problem! I see it as-- get a different height of a baseboard or figure out a way to make it fit so it looks finished! Its common sense!! They offered to leave me a piece of baseboard outside my door, to finish the job myself. When i came home and saw it, I returned it back to the guy working on another place in the building. It was about 6 ft long, white,& scuffed up horribly! What am i supposed to do with that?? So here we sit, with pretty floors, & a shitty unfinished baseboard job. Would I recommend this place?... not sure, but if you do decide to use them, i suggest to go into the store person,have them show you the product,& get everything in writing of what is going to be the overall finished product. If this happened in a home that I owned, rather than renting, I would be so much more annoyed about it. read more

I wish that I could give Burbank Carpet 100 stars! They are that great! They rescued my wife and I from an absolute horrible experience with Empire Carpet. We signed up to go with Empire, only to be screwed around with missed appointments, rude customer service, and incredibly poor management. I only mention all of this because Fabian and Burbank Carpet were the exact opposite. We decided to meet with Fabian because we are Burbank natives and I had heard about Burbank Carpet from a friend. I had lost all faith in the carpet business as this process really became a chore, as it seemed like most carpet businesses we met with were used car salesman. It was really that bad, and then came the meeting with Burbank Carpet. First, Fabian came to our house and totally made my wife feel at ease. No hard sales pitch. No pressure. Just told us the facts, with a friendly smile and about as non-used car salesman as you could get. Second, the price. Believe it or not they were very reasonable and we were very happy with our quote as it was the best price for the quality of the product. Third, when the appointment was set, his installers came on the date that was scheduled! Trust me, with our prior experience....not always the case. Lastly and most importantly, the installers who came did a fantastic job and I cannot say enough about the quality of work and how nice and considerate the installers were. They did such a fantastic job and our house looks wonderful! Then, when they were done they cleaned up as if they were never there! We literally feel like we have a new house and we cannot thank Burbank Carpet and Fabian enough. I was born and raised in Burbank and trust me when I tell you that this is a hidden gem. If I ever need carpet, or know somebody who does, I will strongly encourage them to meet with Fabian and work with Burbank Carpet. My trust in the carpet industry has been restored. Recently had some carpet installed in one of rooms with broken porcelain tile. I was looking for a cheap alternative and found Burbank Carpet via Yelp.
