There's an elevator right in front of entrance to peruse in going up and down the offices. However, the general public is allowed only at the ground floor specifically the workforce connection and live scan areas. Free two hour limited parking is available in the city lot. There's also three parking spots available right in front of the building in Olive. No parking is allowed at Third St. No restroom is available for the general public. If you will need one, you will have to walk towards the Community Development Building. Personnel in the workforce connection who assist the public in job hunting are very friendly. Computers, printers, copiers, fax machine, phones, newspapers, and job postings are provided to job seekers free. However, there's a $6 fee for typing certifications. Chuck who does the live scan fingerprinting is always very efficient. He does his job with ease which can be attributed to many years of experience. There's never a line because an appointment is required for fingerprinting.

I would 100% invest more time to talk to the attorney's office if anyone is struggling been ignored by dcfs and crying wanting your kids back the court appointed attorney is the best advice.... And even the court appointed attorney sometimes ignores. Then ask the law firm parent partners for extra help. I feel sorry for the moms who are going through why I went through so that is my advice.

My passport only had 5 months remaining. I was so caught up in my father's situation I forgot to check. I called everyone for help renewing my passport. I was willing to pay exorbitant fees to expedite it. There was not enough time. I contacted Adam's office and explained (in detail haha) my situation. His office reached out to me, expressed sincere condolences, and got me an appointment and my passport in 2 days. Not only did they do that , but they reached out again to make sure everything went smoothly. I am now a life long supporter. My boyfriend lives in LA in the Harvard Heights area and every time I'm at his house I turn on the citizen app and I'm shocked at how much crime is happening at any instance there. Whenever I'm at home I open my Citizen app for fun and it's always so safe and quiet here. I feel like our police department is a huge reason for that. Even being in high school I was also really proud to be living in such a great city. Every interaction I've ever had with officers has always been very respectful to me. I hope it always remains this way I know not everyone has this experience, but this is just mine. Keep up the good work everyone that is protecting and serving. I truly appreciate you guys!

What went not well was their demeanor, lack of professionalism, and lack of communication skills. We are all in the middle of the street and I was told to get out the street because if I get hit by a drunk driver right now they will not be held responsible. Excuse me? It was a surprising remark because their vehicles surrounded my car and there were multiple officers standing around in the middle of the street chatting nonchalantly like it's just another day. Your other officer just told me to hurry and go get my belongings that were in the middle of the street because they are towing your car right now and that I will need to get off the street now. Me questioning him saying "who is the tow company that is here trying to tow my car without speaking to me at all. I did not order them. I need to contact my own tow first" police offer gives me a snarky look and says 'are you listening to me?" Um yes I AM and I'm saying who is towing my car?!explain to me what's going on. Because what I'm seeing is that this tow guy that's been waiting around anticipating this accident rolls by, hooks his tow to my car and proceeds the lift. Anyone want to inform me what is happening? I didn't order this tow, and there were still things that needed to be collected by me like I need to get license plates. I need to grab my belongings from my car! Never have I ever experienced such rude officers. In previous experiences, officers have been so kind and asked me several times if I got license plates, did you exchange insurance info already?" What is with all the aggressive ordering around and gaslighting. They don't like when you ask questions it seems and if you in the slightest question them they take it as a form of resistance which they do not like. I am allowed to know what is going on because I'm a person that's involved. I'm allowed to ask questions too. What's with all the attitude and ego with these officers?! I say I need to go take photos of the accident. Cop replies: I got them already. I tell him 'no I need my own photos so I can send them to my insurance. (I never got these photos from them by the way) ' he looks at me snarky and offended and told me 'be quick because they're towing it right now' Short Officer with brown mustache also needs an attitude check as he was barking orders left and right, "I need your license.", gives it back to me with one finger and has a face like he doesn't want to give my license back to me but has to. I'm not saying the whole department is this way but the officers at the scene were aggressive at the beginning, barked orders around, and I can sense just from their presence/ attitudes that these officers are the types to escalate things and blow things way out of proportion unnecessarily, unethically, and aggressively. These are power tripping officers that act tough and protect their own. I felt super uneasy with these officers which shouldn't be the case at all.

Came here back in December to get passports for the Family. I must say, the process was much…read moreeasier than I expected. There was a wait due to people in front of us not having all their paperwork filled out properly, but the office itself was great and made the process quick and easy. A couple weeks later we had our passports. We did go on December 24th, so it may have been less busy, but if so, I recommend going on a non traditional day like the 24th. Pro tip - be courteous to others and have all their paperwork filled paperwork completed before you get there. The instructions are detailed and will make everyone happy and save a lot of time. This building is an old art deco style building, it is beautiful inside and the kind of building you just don't see anymore. The builders and architects took care to make this a classic landmark in Burbank, more than just City hall. The details around the building inside and out are amazing and worth looking around, murals in the walls, an aeronautical them inside and they have this massive old post office box that is no longer in use, but was built like Fort Knox, it is very cool and it is pretty inside. If you have to take care of anything that is City or Government related, I would recommend Burbank City Hall, they made the process quick (as quick as a Government facility can be) and the building itself is nice just to look around at while you are passing the time waiting for your appointment. Volunteering in Burbank? Sure! Then you'll probably need to visit our City Clerk's office on the first floor, where everyone gets the VIP treatment. Leaving the US? Burbank's passport office is located here as well and yes, they will take your passport photo for you. Ask anyone, the passport service here is amazing. Free parking right behind City Hall. Stop by and see our amazing city at work.
