I am 100% satisfied with Burbank Party Rentals. As an event planner, I'm always looking for vendors with great prices and great quality items. This company hits both of those requirements. Jesus was so helpful. I came in without an appointment and he pulled out everything I needed to show me options. He pulled out the tables and took down linens and napkins to show me and was very helpful. On the day of the event I called to ask if Jesus could let me know what stop I was on the truck route and he let me know that judging by their schedule they would arrive no later than 12pm. This held true and they came and even offered to unfold the tables and set them up for me. Such great customer service! All of the chairs and linens looked amazing. Usually when I order the white wooden chairs from other places they look worn and damaged, these were beautiful! Everything looked amazing. They give you a window of 9-2pm when dropping off and picking up your rentals from you and the day after the event they came at 930. So nice!!! Mr. Esteban, unfortunately we don't agree on the following points: - Jesus knew that I needed the table precisely at 11am. And besides my friend, who was late, my husband was there waiting for your people. - You forgot to mention that to gain some time, Jesus said he needed mu credit card details (again!) because there was a problem on the office records (OMG) and he couldn't retrieve my credit card details on file! - I never hanged the phone and Jesus knew I didn't cancel the order. - if Jesus decided to bring the table himself, why he never showed up? **This review is for their heat lamps only** Burbank Party Rental was the first place I called amongst many, and the owner (Esteban) even answered the phone after hours, which I really appreciated. As of March 2012, to rent one outdoor heat lamp is 90 ($75 + $15 for the propane). Now you might be thinking, "$90 for one??" But let me tell you, this was an absolute steal. Not only was he kind enough NOT to charge me a delivery fee (because my event was in the area) I also received 25% off my order because he was running a promotion on his website. All the other companies I called were charging a $50-$100 delivery fee on top of the price for the rental! I'm sure the more local you are, the lower they may come down on the price. I made my order 1 day before my event, and they delivered it the same day within just a few hours! I would highly recommend this company if you're looking for some heat lamps. My guests loved them and appreciated not freezing as the night got colder. P.S. The heat lamps will last between 6-8 hours depending on the temperature you set it at. read more

After using Burbank Party Rental for several years, I am very disappointed to have to write this review. They used to be the most reasonably-priced rental place with the best customer service. Unfortunately, as of the new year, they are under new management. They have implemented new policies that made my delivery fees (set time, elevator on top of regular delivery) more expensive than the items I am renting in the first place. In addition, the employees have not been responsive to my email trying to figure out the new policies so that I could do the best on my end to minimize the fees. I have found another company that is pleasant and easy to work with. read more

I ordered chairs and tables from this place because they were highly recommended. Unfortunately they delivered dirty chairs, which my husband and I had to clean. Keep in mind it was my baby shower and I was 8 months pregnant. But by then it was only a couple hours away from my baby shower and I did not have time to order from somewhere else. I sent an email to the company and see if they would at least give us a partial refund for the dirty chairs Bianca responded by saying that they probably load the wrong chairs and that she would talk to the manager to see if they can give me a partial refund, after waiting for over a week they said there was no refund and all they said was sorry for the inconvenience. If I could I would give them zero stars. PLEASE Save your self the headache and order your party supplies from another vendor. read more

I had a bad experience at another vendor (Anderson Party Rentals) and regret not checking this place out first to begin with. The young gentleman, Jesus, was very professional and accommodating. I was looking for specific colored table linens and without hesitation offered me to come in to take a look at the colors myself. I would like to give these fools more stars, but seeing as they had some less than stellar customer service, I won't. I was stuck in a serious traffic jam in an attempt to pick up supplies for a holiday party. I called, and the gentleman I spoke to said that they were closed. I was shocked seeing as it was 4:40pm and they closed at 5. I explained my situation, and stated that I would be there no later than five minutes to 5. I was floored when he replied, "Uh yeah, all my guys already left for the day so I won't be able to help you load your stuff in the car". I said that all I ordered were 15 chairs and a small table and that I had a friend following me to help. "Uh yeah, I can't help you, we won't be here when you get here". I almost lost my mind. It's this kind of lousy anti-customer crap that will prevent me from ever returning and making sure that everyone I know never goes back. Since I already paid for the stuff, I was forced to drive 25 miles BACK THE NEXT DAY. The morons who were there stood around and watched as my friend and I loaded the stuff into the car. So...just wondering, what the hell did I need to drive back for? Burbank Party Rental, you suck. Extremely unprofessional. I attempted to get in contact with them on several occasions to return THEIR chairs, and I got no answer the first three times I attempted calling, then got sent straight to voicemail the last two times. I had emailed them earlier asking if they could pick up the chairs that were already PAID for and they wanted to charge me for it. When I asked why, I never got reply. I rented 3 Heaters for my wedding and ended up not using them. They charged me 70 for each lamp, which includes the propane, but it was not used, I was hoping to get a refund on the unused propane, since I paid for it, but they would only give me a 35 dollar credit toward my next rental. How does that help me? I'm not going to renting again any time soon! Thanks for nothing you money grubbing jerks! I was introduced to Burbank Party Rentals a long time ago when my sister-in-law rented tables, linens and chairs from them for my wedding brunch party. Since then I've used them for many of my clients and have been very satisfied. I'm really shocked to see so many poor reviews. I've used Burbank Party Rentals for at least 5 years and I've never had an issue with them. I've rented tables, linens, chairs, glassware, platters, flatware, galvanized tubs and other things I can't remember, everything was in great condition, especially given their low prices. I also use companies like Classic, Revelry Event Designers, Town and Country, so trust me when I say they are the lowest. What I really appreciate about them is that with prices so low, I expect for the linens and other items to be in poor condition, but honestly their items are usually clean, not chipped, etc. I've even had them deliver a few times and they were on time. It so odd that some say the customer service is not good because I've always had a good experience with them from the first time I've rented until today. Even my sister-in-law thought they had great customer service and was happy with her rentals. I work in the hospitality/event planning biz. Maybe some of you are not being honest about what happen because it doesn't even sound like the same company. My only complaint would be that I wish they had a wider variety of items to rent, seriously if they had a bigger selection I would likely rent most things from them. I will continue to use them for my events. read more

I'm struggling to give them even one star. A warning to anyone who needs to rent white wooden chairs... they are in terrible condition. They might be cheaper than other places, but it's not worth it. They were so dirty and scratched that I had to send them back and find a new rental company at the last minute. As for the customer service, I agree with another post below... they tried to tell me they couldn't pick the chairs up because they were closed and I had to wait until the next day (which would've been during the party I was throwing). I had to argue and get the manager on the phone to make them come that night and give me a full refund. I hope this helps prevent anyone from having the same problem I did. read more

We had a great experience with Burbank Party Rentals. We recently hosted a wedding reception at our home for 100 guests. They came over before the event, measured for two canopy tents and a variety of tables that would fit in our space limitations. The day before the party, they came, set up and left. After the party, they came and dismantled everything and it was done. Fast and efficient. I see some poor reviews for some really petty stuff. In the grand scheme of things, no one is perfect but BPR is at least reliable. read more

I won't be a repeat customer anymore unfortunately - I ordered chairs and linens to be delivered to a party venue. Starting from the day before the delivery and the entire day of scheduled delivery I called and called to see what the delivery time window frame would be. I asked them to please deliver before 5pm as the location was a store that closes at 5pm. NO ONE answered my repeated phone calls over the span of two business days. Either the phone would ring, get answered and immediately disconnect or a voice recording would come on and it doesn't even instruct to leave a message. I finally reached someone around 3:30pm on the scheduled delivery date who told me delivery would arrive between 4 and 5pm. They never showed up and the store owner stayed 45 minutes late just in case they arrived. I kept calling the Burbank Party Rentals to see what was going on and again NO ANSWER. I just finally got home and the rental items were found dropped off in my backyard - THIS WAS NOT THE SCHEDULED DELIVERY LOCATION I TOLD THE STORE TO DELIVER TO , which does me no good as the event is not being hosted at my house, and I have no means to transport these items to the event location WHICH IS WHY I ASKED FOR THE ITEMS TO BE DELIVERED DIRECTLY TO THE EVENT LOCATION. Absolutely disappointed by their service and inefficiency. Will not be utilizing their services again. read more

Used this company for the first time. Will never use them again. One of the tables I rented was broken so I didn't use it thinking it would be a safety issue. Called that day before my guests arrived to try and get a replacement. No answer. Had to call them again to ask about a refund. They would not refund me for the table, chairs or overlay.
