All in all, the food was fabulous, but the service and feeling as I was being tolerated, not welcomed served soured my trip to this cafe. To find the cafe, enter the park gate at the corner of Calle 1 Sur and 60 Avenida Sur. Walk about 50 feet on the path to the left and you will see a sign that says Cafeteria. I went three times: for breakfast, lunch and a snack. If I was staying longer in the area I definitely would have gone back again. I loved the fresh tropical fruit salad bowl, (ensalada frutas) served with the option of honey or yogurt, and it was only 50 pesos. Their ice-cold fruit smoothies were only 25 pesos! And their agua del dia was fun, a new combination to try every day for about 15 pesos. For instance, one day it was watermelon and lime, another day hibiscus. The kitchen is open 9 am to 4 pm, except Mondays when they are closed.
