They have a tractor with a wavy that takes people out to a specific area to pick different types of apples. They have things working very smoothly here, if a sign is on the ground that row of apples is not ready to be picked. A sign is up telling you all the details about that apple... it's ready to be picked. There were a good number of people picking apples with us but everyone is spaced out very nicely. Tried a few apples and they were crisp and sweet ... feels like fall is here! Back on the wagon up to the barn, where they have these cute old fashioned scales to weigh your apples and pay. Very cute experience that we all enjoyed.

Really??? So you find it odd that a customer would replace the cheap pot and place the plant in a nicer one and just hold onto the garbage pot it came in. He was not going to let it go, so I said" fine, but ll be documenting this lack of customer service online. At that point, he said I could exchange it. I went to look and got some other kind of plant. The cashier then said to said manager " shouldn't she have to get the same kind of plant? " I was totally taken aback by the rudeness of the employees there. He ultimately allowed me to get the plant I selected. It will be a long time if ever , before I them give them any business.

I even hit them with a few random questions and BOOM, they had the answers. We did go a little later into the season so we were not able to pick all of their apples varieties, but I still went home with a bunch! Also, we had the opportunity to pick fresh raspberries. I WAS IN HEAVEN. I could have just done that and been a happy camper. I also picked a small pumpkin from their patch. I learned that the pumpkin patch location changes every 1-2 years. Its a good thing that it was in its lat year because there are plans for that space next year. Keep your eyes peeled people because next year there will be a Cidery opening up. As well as a place to hold parties/weddings! I am totally pumped to try their tasty ciders with all of their homegrown fruit! Their keeping it in the family as the owners daughter and son-in-law are the ones that will be running this place. There was also a maze, but i did not take the time to walk through it. Overall I did not see as many children attractions that you tend to see at apple farms, but I loved the mother daughter team and their passion and commitment to locally grown fruit and cider! This spring I bought chives, basil, marigolds, and petunias here, and the prices I paid were about half of what some local garden stores charge. At the checkout, you can buy locally grown fruits and veggies. During my last stop, they had onions, potatoes, radishes, tomatoes, and several kinds of apples. Maple syrup too. Service is friendly, they take credit/debit, and the prices are reasonable. Support a local business and check them out if you're in Greece.

This is family owned and operated. Today we went for u pick tomatoes. Each year I try to grow big tomatoes and fail miserably. Honestly I don't know any other place locally that offers u pick tomatoes in Monroe county. It was an easy walk to the plants and the tomatoes were really big. I can't wait to use them. I looked up some reviews and LynOaken was highly recommended and offered a lot of varieties. A huge bonus was that there was a winery next door! I called in advance to see what the U-pick varieties were for the date I was looking to go because all the varieties are not ready to be picked at once. This year they had an online reservation system set up due to the pandemic. $7 included parking and a small bag of non specialty apples. You could buy more u-pick or prepicked apples on site. When you arrive there is a super cute country store set up with pre picked apples, cider, baked goods, vegetables and other treats. Once you check in there are wagons you can use to lug apples or transport kids which was a nice bonus. The area is large but not too spread out so it's nice to take a family and kids can't go too far. The staff is helpful and knows a lot about their products. Delicious and fresh apples and very clean and well run place. The winery, Leonard Oakes Estates, next door also had outdoor seating. I think there was indoor as well if you wanted. $10 got you 3 generous tastings and an ample choice of charcuterie, nuts, etc. There were a lot of tasty wine and ciders to choose from. The farm is connected to Leonard Oaks Winery, as well as a store that sells jams, honey, candy, cider, little cute trinkets and gifts, etc. They also have homemade baked goods for sale as well. The trees aren't as large as some of the other more established orchards, but they get the job done. I like this place because there are so many varieties of apples. They do offer a tractor ride to the orchard, however, it is such a short ride from where you purchase your apple picking bag, that there is really no reason to take the lift. The orchard is set up with wooden signs that are red, yellow and green, letting you know what varieties are safe to pick, or ones that could be picked, or apples that should not be touched. I tried a red signed apple, not realizing it was in the red zone, and I could see why you wouldn't want to eat that one yet. The employees are helpful and friendly. The area where you purchase your apple picking bag also has a bunch of apples that you can purchase without hiking into the orchard. There are also fresh doughnuts (that were extremely yummy,) and popcorn for sale. There is also a sign telling you what apples are ready to be picked. There is a little play area for kids containing houses, and wagons as well.
