I had been wanting to try this place for a while. Every time I was in the area, it had just closed. This time I happened to get around earlier than normal and was able to stop in. With all the great reviews I have to say I was very underwhelmed. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese, fries and a drink. The burger was honestly nothing to write home about. It had that grilled taste, it was an ok size, but it was familiar. The familiarity took me a bit, but seemed like a frozen patty that was chargrilled at a backyard bbq. Not terrible, but not fantastic either. They do the burgers with ketchup, pickles and onions. I just got the ketchup. They also threw a sauce in the bag, kind of a relish, I didn't use that. The fries, well another place that seems to think crispy coated fries are the way to go. When I first got them, they were good. They are best super hot. After getting back, well they were just blah. Ordered takeout from here for the first time. The burgers taste good, but the fries are AMAZING! They have a nice golden color and are the perfect kind of crispy. The best part are the sauces. Had the chicken sandwich because someone told me it was really good. The choice of bun excellent, the sauce amazing and pickles were crunchy.....The chicken however was a rubbery mess. I've never eaten a piece of chicken that was like trying to bite through an over done steak. This is a classic burger and shake joint. The included toppings are pickles onions and ketchup. I said no pickles crispy chicken sandwich and little cheeseburger and got little stickers saying so on the wrapper. The chicken sandwich without pickles has only sauce as a condiment. Think White Castle but better. Not gonna make you sick. The potato roll is a tasteful move. The onions weren't too much. Great little spot! My bf and I were just strolling during quarantine and it caught our eye bc it's bright and shiny. And it was actually National Burger Day so we thought why the hell not! Actually first I peeked in just out of curiosity and saw the low prices that's when we decided def worth a try. Ordered 3 little cheeseburgers and a hotdog, the sweet girl told me I can have it for free bc they have a deal ( buy 3 get one for free!) We went outside and found a place to sit. The hotdog was good! But one star off for no relish :( gotta have relish! The burgers were great as well, similar to Mcds style wise but fresher obviously and tbh this place is even cheaper! New place a pretty short walk from my place. When I walked in it reminded me of an All-American Burgers (in Massapequa) style place. But smaller and with several counter seats. Prices are definitely reasonable. Ordering was quick and easy. That was the highlight for me. I ordered a quarter-pounder with sweet potato tots. There was exactly 1 person waiting for food, yet it took a full 11 minutes for my food to be ready. I probably would have been ok with that if the food had met my expectations. It didn't. The burger sure didn't look like a quarter-pounder. It was overcooked and dry, with not an ounce of juice to be found anywhere. The actual taste wasn't bad, but with no flowing juices, just didn't do it for me. The tots were also a disappointment. I wish their menu had a mention of the fact that they come sugar coated. I wouldn't have ordered them. Sugar on hot potatoes is not something I enjoy. The taste actually would have been ok if there had been none of that sugar. Because the place is close to my apartment, I will very likely try again. Hopefully, what happened today is the exception, not the rule. I will order regular fries, not the tots. And if the burger is the same as the one I had today, I just can't see me going there a third time. read more

Love coming here when I'm in ridgewood. I usually get cheese burgers, they remind me of white castles but WAY better. I honestly come in most for an order of cheese fries, they come in a large box you can split between 2 people. I like to ask for the cheese on the side because I've had a situation where the cheese container exploded in the box. But yeah, this place is great to get a quick bite.
