I recently discovered that all 7th Street Burger restaurants have an Impossible Veggie Burger and, as someone who didn't even like "real" burgers back when I did eat meat, I'm thrilled to say that their veggie burger is wonderfully tasty! I always order mine without the pickles, however I recommend you don't skip the sauce as it's part of the magic! Their House Sauce is seriously so good that I always order 2-3 of them to dip my fries into. Just a heads up - the veggie burger is a bit on the small side compared to what you might be used to, however I think it's the perfect size! Especially since I always get fries to go with it. I recommend you download their app - not only is there a point system involved, but you can also easily order ahead via the app! I've done this a few times and it's a seamless process. Sure, the same could be said about any of the N/W station namesakes north of 39th, but 30th Avenue really packs an incredible density of restaurants, shops, bars, and stores between 29th Street and Steinway. Amid all the splendor and hedonism of the world of consumption, 7th Street Burger. I've been to many 7th Street Burger locations and this one is on the larger and more polished end of the spectrum. I'm a big fan of the jalapeño double cheeseburger, prepared (smartly) with sliced fresh jalapeños (as opposed to icky pickled jalaps). I prefer it without the sauce, but to each their own. One thing that makes 7th Street Burger so compelling in that they offer vegan burgers which taste just like the real thing. It's truly an impressive culinary feat, in addition to being a sane and sensible option both for non-meat eaters and customers simply seeking a healthier burger. I've eaten here several times but, in the interest of full disclosure, I did recently get a free meal as part of a Yelp event. Try out the new mobile app if you prefer to order ahead and earn some rewards as well. I recently stopped by the Astoria location to try one of their new drops: the jalapeño cheeseburger. And when I say my life has changed,,, it's not an understatement. Welcome to Astoria Ray Ray! I had walked past 7th Street Burger a few times up and down the busy and fun 30th Avenue . Popped in today for a nice and delicious lunch. The ambiance is simple -clean, open with nice music playing. Hand sanitizer( full bottles) plus ample napkins on every single table. The menu board is very straightforward( please see photo). I was greeted by the very warm Matthew and opted for the Impossible Burger ( a double but of course). The chefs in the back were happy and smiling. Hence a beautiful item - I almost felt guilty about enjoying this as it looked like, felt like and tasted so much like a meat burger. The melted cheese, onions and pickles added a nice accompaniment! $11.50 for a double was absolutely outstanding! Loved every bite and morsel. We went on a yelp event to get a free meal. I ordered the impossible burger no cheese , loaded fries and a sprite (a product of Mexico). The burger was delicious and served woth a potatobread from Mario, not sure if it was store bought or homemade. The loaded fries had grilled onions on it and a sluce of American cheese. I came here on a Friday afternoon to get takeout for my husband and I. I found free parking a block away but there were also open paid parking spots right near the restaurant. The woman at the counter wasn't that friendly and didn't even remind me to grab my drinks from the case so I almost forgot them. The burgers were also in wrappers where the grease leaked out so they could be packaged better. The food is good! The fries could be a little more seasoned, but the burger especially at this price point is solid. The grilled onions are a nice touch. Okay, so their menu is pretty small -- only about 4 or 5 things to choose from, and that's about it. I went for the double cheeseburger, and honestly, it's probably the best burger I've had in my 33 years of life. No exaggeration -- I give that burger a solid 10 out of 10. Now, my only issue is the pricing. They don't offer any combo deals, so everything is charged separately. My total for a double cheeseburger, fries, and a Coca-Cola came out to $19.20. I couldn't wait to come and try 7th street when I saw that they had an impossible burger option I was so excited and couldn't wait. when we arrived there was parking near and we went right in to order. The place is spacious, white and clean. There are a few tables if you wish to dine in while visiting. We walked right up ordered our food and told us to wait a few while we waited we snapped some pics. Within a few minutes our order was ready they told us to grab a Mexican soda and we went on our way. While driving home I was thinking to myself if I should have asked while burger is which since one is vegan but to my surprise they use different paper for both which is brilliant. The vegan paper is green and the regular beef burgers get wrapped in red. The fries were great and amazing portion sized and of course we enjoyed the Mexican sodas very much! I was surprised to know that they have seatings, the Fidi location has standing only. I got a double cheese burger with the secret sauce which is my favorite. The fries are crunchy and oh so yummy. I came here during Yelp Elite event week and it was my first time ever trying their burgers. The restaurant was clean and lots of seating. Came here yesterday because of a Yelp Elite event! I got on the list for a full meal free for 2 people. Can't go wrong with that! Was in the neighborhood for a movie and took a short stroll here afterward. Right on the corner of 30th Avenue in a bustling part of Astoria. The Q18 stops right in front of the restaurant. There is a good amount of seating in the place. Along with ledges around the perimeter for stand up eating. The menu is simple and basic. Single or double regular or cheese smashburger. Impossible burger. Fries. Mexican Coke/Sprite and water. Good prices. Fast service as well. We got a double plain and cheese smashburger, fries and a drink each. The wait was less than 5 minutes and the woman who took our order walked it over to us. We took it home to eat. I'm really not crazy about smashburgers. I don't get them. You're smashing all the good juices out of them, but I digress. We got home and dug in and I must quote Jules from Pulp Fiction.. that was a tasty burger! Very greasy, but super delicious. The ratio of chopped onions, pickles and sauce was perfect. I kinda wish I had another one right now. The fries were perfect. Crispy, fluffy and not at all greasy. Perfect. No condiments even needed.
