    Pulled pork sandwich and poutine
    Sapphire M.

The restaurant is nicely designed and decorated. There was plenty of seating and it was clean inside. Service was great! The staff was attentive and timely. Food was great as well! I ordered the pulled "pork" sandwich, and the mushrooms and creamy barbecue sauce were delicious! Also upgraded my side to poutine, and good lord was it a lot of food. But so so so good! I got a few desserts to go as well. The blueberry cheesecake muffin was a miss, way to dry, I didn't enjoy it. But the chocolate chip cookie? Yes, please. Next time I'll take two. Overall a great place for quality vegan food at a decent price.

Marry me, Burger Fiancé! Love that there is a dedicated vegan spot close to Old Montreal that brings out the comfort food love in all of us. Burgers here are massive and use an in-house patty or you can sub for impossible meat for an additional charge. I had to try their Spicy Chick-en Sandwich ($21) which uses cajun shiitake mushroom for its burger, along with vegan ranch, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and maple syrup. The burger was fire but definitely a lot to consume even in just one sitting. The waffle fries included were a great touch as well. The decor inside was super cute. If it wasn't so busy during lunch, I would have considered eating inside while the food was still fresh. So while the prices are definitely higher than I'd like them, I can't deny that the quality is there and absolutely a smashing burger option.

Absolutely delicious! A place you can bring your non vegan friends that they will enjoy. Hands down the best vegan milkshake Ive ever had!

Visited Burger Fiancé after walking around Old Montreal with a visiting friend. The line seemed long and slow to move, not because there were no available tables, but because there was only one person acting as hostess, server and bus person. When we did get seated, we had said we were expecting a 4th person (there were 3 of us to start) who would be arriving within minutes. We were given a bottle of water, and a few minutes later, 3 drinking glasses. About 5 minutes after that, we were asked what we would like to order. We hadn't yet seen a menu, so the server apologized and brought menus over. I explained that we were waiting for someone (again) and asked for a drink menu. Our 4th arrived, we hadn't been visited again yet by the server. A new server arrived about 15 minutes later to take our order. Spicy "Chicken" (was quite spicy), fiancé burger (delicious), and Old School burger (very tasty but messy), cauliflower bites (order these!!) along with a pitcher of beer and two sodas. We were told we could not order salad as they were out. We asked for no tomato on one burger and no mushrooms on another. They arrived with both, that modification was completely ignored. We were halfway finished eating before we got the sodas after we had to remind the server. We were not given cutlery or napkins. There are lovely live plants all around and the place is generally nice to sit in, especially the seat by the window. We will go again as the food was very good. Hoping they were just short staffed that d

Dining method: Take-out Item(s) ordered: Fries and Cobb Salad (not pictured, Fiancé burger) Speed: Eh, not so fast. But so worth it. Value: Not cheap...but worth it. The Review: Burger Fiancé has rocked my world. I was in MTL, with no idea of what to eat, what was gluten-free. We were walking along and came across the oasis that is Burger Fiancé. It is a colorful and "hip" spot, with all vegan options, and most importantly gluten-free options. The Cobb salad was delicious, as were the very well-seasoned fries. I had zero self-control, so I did Uber Eats the following evening and got the Fiancé burger. Listen, when you find something good, why change it? I love this place, and it's reason enough for me to move to Montréal.

Fried Chicken Sandwich and Fries (food is larger than it appears)
    Leslie H.

We had a terrific dining experience from start to finish. The Fried Chicken and Pulled Pork sandwiches were both incredible and filling. The sandwiches were jam packed with meaty bites, incredible sauces, and crunchy vegetables. The fries were thicker than I like, but still tasty. I subbed my fries for a Caesar side salad and that was a worthwhile investment--I highly recommend it. I wish I had saved room for one of their famous milkshakes but, alas, that was out of the question after finishing the mIn course. The service was good--our water was never empty, and the space was inviting.

I love burgers of all kinds, so when looking for a dinner option at a busy time, we were happy to try Burger Fiance. I planned to order the double date (for the protein), but was advised towards the fiance burger. He said it was more bang for my buck. I'm not sure I agree, but I went his recommendation. It was tasty - the house patty is as good a veggie burger as I have ever had. I did it in lettuce without the onion ring. Overall, I think I should have chosen two patties. While I would not recommend the fiance burger, I WOULD recommend the Devotion - the choice of my wife. That is a 5 star burger that even the meatiest carnivores would enjoy. Yum yum. We also shared waffle fries for the table - excellent. The kids chose kids burgers (impossible) with cheese, although they forgot the cheese. Regardless, they gobbled them up! My daughter said, "5 stars." Only one complaint really is that you pay more ($2) for a lettuce wrapped burger. While I understand perhaps the added inconvenience, lettuce is super cheap and (in my opinion) should not be extra money like a gluten free bun (which is actually more expensive than a regular bun typically.) Lettuce is dedicatedly less expensive than a burger bun. But regardless, the Devotion earned 5 stars, along with the fries and kids burgers (so they tell me). Check it out, even if you love the beef! Oh! And the brownie-out of this word.

The food here was amazing! Beyond delicious! Service was excellent and everyone was friendly!

I ordered the truffle burger with the impossible patty and upgraded to kimchi fries. The burger was amazing, I would have gone back for seconds if I had more time in Montreal. Nice truffle taste without being overwhelming. The kimchi fries were not what I was expecting based on having them in the past. It took a few bites for them to grow on me but I ended up enjoying them. There was nice art work throughout and our server was pleasant.

First of all, Montreal is beautiful and I miss it every day. Second of all-- how lucky was it that I walked past a new vegan restaurant on my way to Old Port? Super lucky, I say! I was so hungry and dazed from the heatwave (I visited this place in late summer) the little "burger fiancé" sign beckoned me towards it, and I am so glad. I noticed upon entering that the staff were thoroughly sanitizing the tables and chairs, with another staff member letting me know that I can seat myself in any area that has been sanitized already. I really wanted to try their kimchi dog, but they were sold out :((( so I had the classic dog, waffle fries and a strawberry oat milkshake. The milkshake was so delicious and so surprisingly thick! The hot dog and waffle fries were pretty yummy-- I'm a sucker for pickled onions, so this was the perfect meal for me...I honestly can't stop imagining what the kimchi dog would taste like! This will definitely be one of my favourite places to revisit once I'm back in Montreal.

Pulled pork burger was delicious but VERY messy. Lots of the components kept falling out. I also tried the vegan poutine side which was flavorful but a lot of food with the burger! Waiter was friendly and service average speed. Went during a time that the restaurant wasn't too busy.

    Vegan fried chicken burger
    Steven R.

I think I came on an off day, and it's a shame because the fried chicken sandwich and waffle fries were incredible. We went in and the place was pretty much empty. Sat down and ordered drinks and food. Cocktails were poorly mixed and came way after the rest of the food when we were almost done. The Impossible Burger had way too much salt, to the point of there being clumps of salt just sitting in the burger. Again, the Fried Chicken was fantastic and the best I ever tasted. If that was all I ordered this review would be 5 stars, so maybe I'll just order that for takeout next time.

We walked in and were immediately approached by a server so we asked to sit by the window. We both ordered a Steerburger with fries and coleslaw. The curly fries were just like we remembered: crispy & light. You can also reserve room if you are a big group. There's also a restaurant with various food that we didn't try. We didn't try the arcade, we ran out of time on our schedule but we will come back. The arcade work with a card where you accumulate point that you can spent on things in the gift shop. Like many arcade, the more token you buy, the cheaper the cost per token is. We took the combo that is 1 game of bowling, 1 game of laser tag and 1 round of mini golf. The bowling is with big balls. There's a little ramp for the kids or those that just need a little help. There's only one though so you have to share it across the 8 alley. The bowling itself is nice, alley are straight and clean. There's a wide range of ball weight that should be ok for everyone. The mini golf here is special. It's not a less put parcours, it's a most point. Point are done in 2 ways. Once you put, there's a 60sec timer. The time left once you enter the cup is bonus point. The other way is through the course. There's special tricks that you can do to earn extra points and even lose some. It's a very nice twist and it was fun. We ended with a game of laser tag. I saw the maximum occupancy is 28 players splitter in 2 or 3 teams. We were 6 and honestly, the room is small. Unless there's some hidden wall that get open for more player, I wouldn't see much more then 10 players. 28 would be over crowded for sure. For us at 6, it was perfect. One thing is the room itself is dangerous. Like many laser tag room, it's dark. The problem is they put some stuff like ramp but without anything to show you the edge or worst, they put some theming. Half of us were hurt by the stage. I myself trip, while walking slowly down one of those ramp where I though it was going in a specific direction but no. I ended up falling face first, scratching my knees and nearly broking my finger. My girlfriend opened her elbow while edging a wall and our friend got some similar stuff happened. Another thing is they don't really explain you anything beside how to shoot. There's a lot of stuff in the room that you can shoot and I never knew if it did anything beside some animation. Like a wall that seems like maybe a forcefield that would maybe disable enemy shield if they walk through? I don't know. The gun had 2 way to shoot, a long laser or a short range scatter shot like a shotgun. Was fun to be able to cycle through mode. We still had fun, but the state was dangerous in my opinion. It is a nice place to have a fun spend money. Kids will love it for sure and grown up too
