Maybe it's a local thing but the burgers tasted like they were soy bean burgers I was so disappointed after seeing how many people go there

So glad we finally stopped at this little burger joint! We've noticed it a few times during our trips from Tampa to Tallahassee and decided to give it a try. Several cars were already in the drive thru so we figured it had to be good. We ordered two burgers, large tater tots, and a large strawberry shake. The portions were much bigger than expected and the price was lower than we'd expect! The burgers were large, juicy, and tasted like the kind you would make yourself, unlike burger chains up the street. It's an old fashioned brick Mom n Pop type place. Nothing fancy but no need with delicious food like they served! We plan to make this a regular stop during our trips. read more

We stopped on the way to Punta Gorda. Our burgers were phenomenal. A large fry is perfect for two to split. The toppings were all fresh on our burgers. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. If you're looking for a good, old fashioned cheeseburger this is your place. read more

This is an exceptional fast food restaurant that is a must any and every time I'm in the area! Everyone I've introduced to this place has agreed it's the best fast food they've had. The burgers are the amazing, pretty much everything on the menu I've had is delicious. They sell incredibly tasty milk shakes, my favorite is the peanut butter shakes which are very rich but very good. It really is a small building with one yellow sign so it's easy to miss but worth making a U turn for. read more

Great milkshakes! Burger and fries are not bad for a drive thru! We have a home in GA so HWY 19 is a familiar route. Burger House is one of the best to choose from for HOURS! We always stop here! Never disappointed! We always recommend it to fellow hunters that often travel HWY 19. The bathrooms are a little sketchy so I usually find somewhere else to potty. :) read more

This is an old drive thru with an old yellow sign, you might miss it. The menu is small and includes some unique southern delights like peanut butter milkshakes and BBQ pork sandwiches. We got single cheeseburgers loaded with onion rings. The onion rings were very hot and beer battered and not frozen or anything. The burgers were simple and fresh. Could tell the ingredients were good. It's worth stopping in. read more

This will be our new stop on our drive north to visit the in-laws. Oh my goodness. Cannot believe we used to stop at McDonald's on our way through to Tallahassee (there really aren't a lot of choices on the drive through this area). This place was fantastic. Favorite stop on our way from Clearwater to Tallahassee! Burgers are great! Very big with fresh toppings. The star of this place is the milk shakes though!!! My personal favorite is the peanut butter. It is to die for!!! At the end of the shake you will find peanut butter on the bottom of your cup so you know it is made with the real thing. Thick & a great value because you get a giant shake for an amazing price. read more
