I was craving Pho, and remembered that my friend said they had opened a Pho shop in Chiefland, so I asked the hubby if he was up for an adventure. He was so we headed north on 19 to Q5 Pho. the place smelled like absolute heaven, and my tummy gave a hearty growl. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee, and unsweet tea, the hubs got unsweetened tea as well. We ordered their spring rolls, their pho with brisket and their rice bowl. All the food eas delicious. The service was a little off, but thats Ok. We ate well. I will make the hour drive again in the future.

Came here today for lunch. As a local of Chiefland we are so glad to see something different. This small town has a ton of fast food joints but not too many restaurants. We sat down right away and were greeted by happy workers ready to work. We ordered a few appetizers, some hot tea and then ordered two bowls of Pho (soup) . Food came out promptly . The servers continued to come by and check on us. We were very pleased with the service and the food was delish! Every bite of this food was bursting with flavor ! We will return! Bravo to this new local business in Chiefland

    Huge bowl of Chicken Pho.

I live about 30 minutes from Q5 Pho. I wanted to try their spring rolls with peanut sauce and very happy I did. The restaurant was very clean and was seated as soon as I walked in. Service was spot on, it was almost like she was reading my mind! Had a couple spring rolls and a very large bowl of their chicken Pho. The Pho came out so hot! Extremely tasty and more than I could eat that day. Ended up taking leftover Pho home and the wife and I finished it! The owner came out and made sure I was happy and my waitress was perfect.

Did not expect this wonderful Pho experience in little Chiefland, Florida! We both had the pork spring rolls and pho - loved it. We'll be going back to experience the rest of the menu! Good luck to this new locally-owned business!

We recently moved to the area and were delighted to hear about this place. My husband and I love Phos. The restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated. I had the chicken pho, it was delicious plenty of meat and broth was excellent...generous portion. Service was exceptional too. You truly need to give this place a try. And if you haven't yet tried a Pho you need to very healthy and delicious. We will definitely be returning.

For her it's good as the Pho's are gluten free. We also ordered the veg. Spring rolls with tofu (extra $1.50). We each had an order and they were very good. The dipping sauce for my wife was GF and tasty as was the peanut sauce. This all being said, we both felt that the Pho's were ok. We were hoping for a bit more flavor. The server didn't write the orders down and very typical as when not written, something is incorrect. She left off the fried onions from my Pho and had to request them. The goodies of basil, bean sprouts and items were a bit shy for us and after asking for more, the server brought more at no extra charge. Very nice! The food was sufficient and filled us up! Would we come back? Maybe not for a while. We were hoping for a bit more Pho flavor. We would give them 3.5 stars this time. Sorry....

Oh my god, I took a single bite and didn't speak to my friend for 15 minutes as I continued munching it down. It was amazing. The vermicelli comes underneath this mound of pork holy grail, and while I'm used to having my vermicelli with these bowls cold and a bit thinner, and there being significantly more noodles than meat ratio, I'm thrilled to say that not this bowl - this bowl was 60% pork, 30% noodle, and 10% veggie. I'm taking every bite with 2-3 pieces of pork. I'm soaking up the juices with the noodles. I'm crunching on a few cucumbers to balance it out. I'm savoring every piece. Absolutely wonderful. I'm so excited to go back and try every one of their dishes. The restaurant itself is small, located inside of a shared mini-food court place with a pasta-to-go restaurant and a boba tea shop, and has a really cute sitting area. There is a nice older lady who works the front/takes orders/delivers the food. Well worth trying to fight to find university parking just to eat here.

The boa buns were soft, the pork was cooked perfectly, and the hoisin sauce at the bottom of the bun was amazing. There were vegetables on top, including cucumbers that tasted sweet and carrots. The vegetables were fresh and tasted great with everything else. We also ordered the crab Rangoon which I personally really liked. I don't like fish, and this crab Rangoon must have had a large amount of cream cheese base. I personally really enjoyed it since the crab wasn't very prominent. The filling was creamy, the Rangoon was crunchy, and the sweet and spicy sauce it came with made a perfect combo. For our meal, we ordered the chicken pad Thai. Unfortunately, it didn't really meet our expectations. The pad Thai was sitting on top of a sauce at the bottom, which tasted like a hoisin sauce base. The taste was very minimal, which was disappointing. The noodles were soft, almost like they were overcooked. The chicken was cooked well and lightly seasoned (which worked perfectly for the pad Thai). The vegetables on top of the pad Thai were also very fresh and you could tell they were freshly cut. The lack of peanut/pad thai taste was the most disappointing part that unfortunately lost it for us. The service was good. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and were able to select our own table. The inside is decently small, with around 8 tables.

We went to Vietnam a couple years ago and now anytime she has a chance to get Banh Mi she does. We'd been here before but I think they recently added the Korean sticks to the menu. I always get a #1 without cilantro or mayo. They haven't messed it up yet. Pate is not really an American thing but it's a good combination. There's a dark sauce they put on the sandwich too which is really good. There's are freshly sliced jalapeños so take note if you don't like spicy. They are very thinly sliced so it's not overwhelming but there's a little kick. My wife got a sandwich but also tried one of the Korean sticks. She got the stick without a hotdog. It was basically a block of cheese coated in diced potatoes, kind of like frozen breakfast potatoes you can get at the grocery store. They deep fry it so the cheese is completely melted. I think she's glad she tried it, but I don't think she was impressed. We'll just stick to Banh Mi next time.

It took a while for anyone to greet me to take my order but after I ordered it did come relatively quickly. Not as fast as other banh mi places though. The banh mi itself was probably the worst one I have ever had. The bread tasted refrigerated and was very chewy. It actually took a lot of effort for me to bite and chew it. Definitely not good eats. Ambiance was nice with plenty of seating.

Also, bless their heart for being a family owned restaurant, but the cleanliness and service here needs more help. Based on the reviews, we thought it was going to be a nice meal. Walking in my father-in-law said are you sure we should eat here. I said the reviews are great. I'm sure it will be fine. Let's just take everything in with a grain of salt. My father-in-law ordered pad Thai, which he typically loves. However, it was not very good at all. Actually, he said it was the worst pad Thai he had ever had. My daughter ordered the pineapple fried rice. She said it was not very flavorful and quite greasy. I had the green curry, which was decent, I did like the fact that it had less coconut milk than other establishments that I've sent you before. It is one of my favorites so I feel like it's something that I can't speak upon. I did have a good amount of vegetables and I love the fact that they use lotus roots. And eggplant. However, it wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst so I feel like that one was a good effort. Onto cleanliness. I really feel like they have a lot of room for improvement here. Even if most of your business businesses carry out, which I imagine it is, you still need to have a knee and clean environment for people to feel comfortable. And I believe that that's where my father-in-law's trepidation came to play. I can't say it was overly dirty, but you can tell that it was worn out. And I saw a lot of carryout business happening. That means that you still have a pretty decent cash flow coming in. My suggestion, as a restaurant consultant, is to use your days off to do a gut of all things unnecessary, do a deep clean and or replace things that obviously need replacing. And there's quite a bit that needs replacing. I'm talking tables, chairs, Flooring, paint the walls, etc. Also dollar store cutlery honestly is never OK when you're charging the prices that you are.
