We just moved to Kankakee and we tried the BK in Bourbonnais which was a mistake. It was horrible and I would never go back. I do like Burger KIng as I have good memories from the 70's. So, I tried to bite the bullet and give the one in Kankakee a try. It was no surprise that it was just as bad as the one in Bourbonnais. Beside being filthy, it was hot and loaded with flies. It was a hot day and you look to be comfortable in a restaurant. It was hotter inside as they had no air conditioning that day. We ordered the food to be made fresh and it wasn't. We also received the wrong food. When we showed them the receipt and the food we got, they stood there and looked at us as if we were from another planet. It was almost like they were going to say "what do you want us to do about it?" They did fix the order issue, but they were in no hurry. The food was cold and our buns were stale. I didn't trust them to fix it. The food went into the trash and we went home and ate. Save time and money and eat at home should be the new BK motto. I don't understand how places like this stay in business. I will not be going back there in this lifetime. I don't recommend this place unless you want to play a nasty joke on someone and send them there. The management doesn't give a damn either. I called the next day and I got nothing not even an I'm sorry. At the cost of a burger these days, you'd think that they would care a little more. I guess it's too much to ask for. read more

This was by far the worst Burger King experience I've ever had in over a decade I came on my lunch break at 7:30 pm the experience was unacceptable I waited 30 mins for my meal for me and my individual who was devastated because even with all the waiting the meal was not prepared properly. this experience deserves to be addressed. the worker present was very dismissive to my needs I even asked for a small fry or something for my break and the worker said to me and I quote (fries cost money ) that' was very ill mannered and I am truly upset. Hope this serious issue gets handled. I experience symptoms of food born illness and several employees did not have on hair nets these are marjor sanitation issues. and i hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

Every time I go on break from my job an actual job not sitting there saying we're out of this or our machines are down or we're only accepting cash or just some bullshit excuse they send me away a paying fucking customer I kept this place in business and this is how they treat people! Horrible experience. Brought a family bundle coupon but was told over the speaker that they were refusing coupons and large orders as they apparently only have one person in the back. They also said over the speaker that they were not taking card and only doing cash. There were no signs to state this. In addition, she had mentioned "you need to make up your order now or leave cause we got cars piling up behind you". Uh yeah, pretty sure that's how a drive thru works. Terrible customer service even before the pandemic and going to drive thru only. They have the potential to be good but they always have some sort of issue. Lobby of always clean. May be a little uncomfortable because it is a common place for homeless to be and sometimes ask for money. Drive thru is a bit slow a lot of times the make you pull ahead and bring the food out you. read more
