I got really excited about the new Mandalorian and Grogu toys that I could get for my kid starting today as advertised. I came through the drive-through and when I ask how many of the toys they had currently at this location was told that there was no way they were interested in going through the 40 boxes on site to find the toys that I was requesting. There was refusal to sell them individually before I even asked, and when I mentioned that I would be willing to buy a kids meal for each one. It was also told they would not go through the boxes to see what was available. It would be one thing if it were the gentleman over the intercom who was trying to be personable, letting me know that there was a challenge that we could sort together, however, the manager yelling from behind him to make clear what she wouldn't do- made it very clear that the idea of me being King was a great context, as long as it wasn't at a Burger King off of Thornton Road. Someday I may give this Location another shot. But there is definitely a huge opportunity for training around customer service, and it explains why when I pulled into the parking lot Taco Bell was full and there were hardly any cars at Burger King. I rarely leave reviews for things that I don't like, but this experience was one of the most offputting I've had in a long time. (F). Open it up, onion rings are semi warm, stick together but more importantly my burger (wished I took a photo) was like warm and MISSING ONIONS, PICKLES, and MAYO. I looked at the tomato's on it and when I tell you the vegetables on my burger looked like a salad bag dump I was upset. I walk back to the counter and the same pigtailed girl is horsing around sealing a Uber Eats bag, at the counter for 2 min with my burger exposed - she looks annoyed - 'what's the problem' she says - I immediately said may I speak with your manager - another girl from behind the wall comes over (1 min maybe 2 later) she goes.. 'what is wrong!' I said huh? My burger it's missing what every burger should have on it. I then said ARE YOU THE MANAGER? She says NO, pigtail girl looks at me like 'oops' don't have time for kid games so the girl says do you have a receipt? I was like you're kidding SHE HANDED ME THE BAG AND YOU SAW IT. I then said where is the manager of the store - she goes back and a young man comes up says YEAH CAN I HELP YOU? I catch his name tag, JAYDEN D. (Save this for later) He looks at my whopper and says sorry, they made a mistake - I said okay, he says we have many people and missing the condiments happens, I said pickles, mayo, and onions? He says yeah. Dude literally looks at me like anything else, don't have a receipt? I said bro, girl comes over and says he just ordered it. Jayden says we will make you another one. YELLS AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS: I NEED ANOTHER WHOPPER (I stressed NO CHEESE) he then finishes yelling and NO CHEESE. Jayden walks away like his job was done. I wait there, at the counter, you'd think Jayden would say I'll bring it to you. NOPE DIDNT SEE THIS GUY AGAIN but wait for it. 7 minutes goes by, remember I had a good 40 min to spare it's 5:04 at this point. Jayden yells from the back DID THAT MAN GET HIS FOOD? I was like tf' - customer service F. Burger comes up, I grab it, opened it, fresh, hot and I'm like why didn't they do this from jump. Back at the table, begin to bite into the whopper and decided to look at the inside wrapper where my burger was wrapped. Guess what? CHEESE - looked at the bottom bun and cheese is on it. Go back to the counter, show Jayden, he says oh, sorry, you may need to let us know to wipe the bread maker because cheese sometimes can get on the bun. Bro I am allergic to cheese, he says: you said no cheese want me to make another! No - 9 people in the location Floor was filthy an he says we are extremely busy, I said tf you wasted my time here an he says I've waited 15-20 min for food before. I said at a fast food place this crazy for a whopper is insanity. He says be safe on the atlanta highways people are crazy. I said are you crazy, I'm not even done getting border correct and he says not sure what else I can do. I told him clean all that trash off the floor, as I'm walking away he says can we pls clean up all this trash on the floor. Usually this location is good but I'm very disappointed with my experience at Burger King tonight. While eating my sandwich, I bit into something extremely hard and had to pull it out of my mouth. The object was black, hard and kinda rubbery, It definitely did not belong in the food. This was very concerning and honestly made me lose my appetite immediately. Most of the Tables were littered with sesame seed and salt. I ordered two orders at exactly 4:17 PM, at 5:00PM I finally went up to see if they had forgotten my order, I paid for it, but they never paid attention to it so it took over 40 minutes for me to get my food. The guy that came in after me same situation he had to go ask them if they had forgot. By the time I was able to eat my food, it was all cold and definitely not worth the trip. If I wanted to spend an hour at Burger King, I would've brought something to snack on while I waited. Never going back. I was literally sitting in the drive thru for TWICE as long as it took to drive there and back. I understand there a sensor in the window that times how long the customer is waiting. I even get them making people pull their cars up and telling the next customer not to drive their car to the window because they're trying to trick the system. I have been eating BK since the 50's growing up. I worked at BK while in high school. I was a BK Restaurant Manger, and District Manage, and a graduate of BK University. So I speak from experience and knowledge of the BK system. Enough on my background. Yesterday, I had my weekly need of a Whopper, so I drove to BK only to discover it was under remodel construction, however the drive thru was open. I was told no burgers only fried food. I ordered a crispy chicken O'rings and a Coke. I paid for my meal and drove home. I have never had a more disgusting meal as this. The bun was burnt, the chicken patty was old, dry, and very hard to chew, O'rings were stale and brittle. In short my meal went into the trash. Placed a mobile order with this location at 4:44pm and went to go pick it up after I got off. I arrived at the store a little after 6pm and the lobby was closed. I went through the very slow drive thru and told them my name for my order and they said they didn't have it and to show them at the window. Stopped here for a Croissan'wich and hot tea...apparently Burger King has stopped doing hot tea, which made me sad. I have to tell you that for the food here I would have given this location a 3.5 Star. But after several stops here getting half of what I order or them not having items from the menu available then I can't really give this place a good rating. It's nice and clean, staff is generally nice to customers but not so much to each other. Even down to how a couple of the manager's speak to their staff is a little disturbing. And even more so that I can hear these conversations between the employees is just a turn off! The food is always good! Usually prepared the way you ask. Always hot no matter if you eat in or if you get your food to go. I think that is Excellent for a fast food joint. This is one of my go-to places for a quick burger fix. The service is almost always quite fast. Even the drive-through zips right along. I went inside yesterday, and they asked me to write my name on my order. That threw me for a loop since I prefer cold, impersonal service at fast food restaurants. I quickly made up a name, then promptly forgot it when they called my name, lol. I like their new high-tech drink machines. They are easy to get your selection, and the output tastes as it should. OK, any place that has Diet Dr Pepper gets a slight advantage for me. I know it's too much to ask, but I wish BK would sell real onion rings. When you attempt to order your food they cut you off on the speaker and then when you request condiments they're not in the bag. Instead of stating their out of the condiment they don't provide it or offer a replacement, they just give you nothing and say nothing.
