    Peach and Apple Turnovers
    Elizabeth J.

Visited for dinner on a Wednesday evening with my book club. I think there were eight of us and we were able to get a nice large table together. Service was very good. Our server checked on us regularly and kept the beverages filled. I had the Yard burger with grilled asparagus and I was thrilled to have a vegetable option instead of the ubiquitous fries. The asparagus was great, also: well cooked but not soggy and with just a bit of char and seasoning. The burger was tasty too. I decided to had apple and peach turnovers for dessert. It was three strips of dough like long ravioli dusted with sugar, forming a pyramid over a scoop of vanilla ice cream and the fruit in syrup. Really delicious and quite pretty too. The dining room was comfortable and a little dim. Not too noisy for book club. Several rooms and and outdoor area were available so people could be spread out from each other. I would go again to try some of the other menu items!

Great place! Sat outside on the patio on a fantastic night. From the moment I walked in the team was great! Super friendly and my server Morgan was very helpful. I had the Steak and Frites which were great. The steak was cooked perfectly and the straw onions combined with the sauce on the steak elevated the meat. The sides were also excellent. The Brussels Sprouts were prepared well and the frites were tasty, especially paired with the BBQ Ranch dipping sauce. Definitely a return visit is in order.

Nice and clean place in Atlanta. Just happen to drive by and was hungry. We were seated fast at 5:30 0pm on a Friday. Host was welcoming and friendly. Well laid out with different areas, and a fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. Full bar. They have a special menu for the day. Ordered the Mary burger- lamb. A small sized patty, topped with greens. It as flavorful and tasty. Fries was soggy and not hot. Come dog was - well, corn dog. Nothing really special.

Been here several times and only have great things to say! The food here is amazing, it's made fresh and portions are quite large! Presentation is also wonderful and everything comes out piping hot! I really like their crab cakes, it comes in a nice sauce with corn and cucumber for texture contrast and some acidity, while the crab cake is delicious and generous in size! Their dipping sauces are also great, I love the smoked paprika the most. Fries come out super fresh and delicious, and their sandwiches are also great! Another amazing thing is the service! They are super attentive to you and are really friendly, I always feel really welcomed and amazed by the quality of service they have, from the front host to the waiters and waitresses! Being so close to the office, I enjoy stopping by for lunch or for going out with coworkers. The ambiance is perfect for casual lunches or even dinners, and with the great food and service I feel you can't go wrong!

I usually go to the Stockyard in Marietta Square but I've been venturing down to this one down in Vinings bc I like the bartenders, like the outdoor seating, and it's a bit more spacious. Also the parking is easier to access although leaving and turning out can be a headache (just go right don't even attempt a left turn). Anyways, love the food. Go to are the burgers, and salmon Caesar salad. SO GOOD! I rotate through the burgers although lately I've been on the Jane's Not so Plain. Just so good. Service is typically great...restaurant is clean.

    Post voting date night

Stopped in quite randomly after voting on our way to Cold Stone across the parking lot. I have to say our server was the best part of the night (James) He was so nice, knowledgeable, and energetic. I alsed for a change to my dinner order and he didn't mess it up at all. Food was good, Not excellent but good. Loved out two apps (pork belly and the tots). For dinner we had the chicken sandwich, i added pimento cheese and took off the pickles - it is one that the piece of chicken is twice the size of the bun. Just a heads up if like me that bugs you (it just makes it hard to eat) There was also like an entire salad of greens on there that i just had ot take off (like a comical amount) Again not bad just like a lot lol Mu husband had the burger with the mac on it and he loved that. He can eat a lot but had to bring part of this home. Sio it's a lot of food. We both felt that the fries had good flavor but needed salt which was not ont he table, and were a little soggy. We brought them home and put them int eh air fryer and they were great. We both really liked our drinks. I would absolutely go here again, especial as they do a half priced bottle of wine and will cork it for you if need be on Wednesdays and it snot too far from our home. I would just maybe get something else.

    Dirty South
    Gisselle A.

I always get the Dirty South, and it never fails to hit the spot! I've tried other menu items here and there, but that one is my go-to every single time. Personally, I prefer the Vinings location over the Marietta one--it's just a personal preference. I feel like this location is a bit bigger, which makes it more comfortable when it gets busy. The customer service is usually always great, and the staff is friendly and quick. Overall, this spot has been consistently solid, and I always leave happy

My husband and I were visiting from Arizona. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Our waitress was absolutely delightful. Her name was Tionis. We loved her southern charm. Would definitely recommend. On the patio they had entertainment as well.

Update to my favorites: -Hong Kong Wings with Bourbon Glazed instead of the Asian sauce) -French fries with Garlic Aioli dipping sauce -Roaring Twenties Rattler (Sour beer but it's actually not too sour and more on the sweet side. And my server, Lynee, was AWESOME. Love her. Enjoy!

We have dined at the location off the Marietta Square and really enjoyed our past dining experience. We decided to try dining at their second location in Vinings. This location is a Western theme with a similar menu. Our server greeted us upon being seated at a booth and took our drink orders. She answered our questions about the menu but was less than enthusiastic about their offerings. My better half ordered the Yard Burger and I ordered the pimento Patty Melt. Both of us got the Frites with Garlic Aioli dipping sauce. The fries were hot but they had been refried a second time. Not the best Frites. I will stick with the Marietta location but this is not a bad second choice.

I came here while in the area for training for work. Myself and a few coworker came. We were very happy with the meal, drinks, and service. I got the pimento patty melt. The burger came out cooked a perfect medium. It was juicy and flavorful. The parmesan truffle fries were really good too! The drinks were all good. They have a great whiskey selection! Service was very fast and good. Nice place for a good dinner! I would come back.

    Hong Kong wings
    Steve C.

Cozy spot tucked away behind train tracks. Good, fast service. I had the Hong Kong wings and half slab of ribs. The wings were really good. Meaty, tender, flavorful. For $14 you get 8 wings, which is really enough for a meal. The ribs were good but a bit dry. And a little too wet. But definitely not bad.

Fry board. Tastes even better than it looks.
    Rachel W.

The menu here was very unique and the food was pretty good. The service was attentive but not too overbearing. We weren't able to try any cocktails on this visit but I'm sure they would be really tasty. My husband ordered a fry board for an appetizer, which I was initially skeptical of, but it was delicious and huge. The dipping sauces were great. I ordered a dirty south burger which was super filling and a little messy! I would probably get something different next time just because I'm not the biggest bbq fan but I couldn't pass up a burger with mac and cheese on it. My husband got the lamb lollipops and said they were cooked perfectly. So perfectly that I didn't even get a chance to try a bite! Haha

This isn't just a gimmick, though; the execution is legit. You can order a single or a double, and each patty is smashed fresh to order, delivering those lacy, ultra-crispy edges that define a elite smashburger. It's cradled in a potato bun that gets toasted to a perfect light crisp. They even offer generous toppings at no extra charge. Do not skip the sides or the extras here. The fry seasoning is incredible, packed with savory flavor that makes them impossible to stop eating, and their onion rings are a solid choice too. But the real secret weapon is the Sassy Sauce (or "smash sauce"). Do yourself a favor and get a cup on the side for dipping. it's that good. While it's tucked inside a convenience store, there's actually dedicated patio seating set up right behind the gas station if you want to sit outside and eat fresh off the grill. I'd take this over Mister Burger. NFA has that classic ketchup, mustard, and mayo flavor with its signature sauce, while Mister Burger is tasty but leans away from that traditional burger profile. I'm not ready to call it the best burger in Atlanta just yet. Fred's Meat & Bread at Krog Street Market is still my favorite, but Holeman & Finch is next on my list, so stay tuned. My only downside is the Dunwoody location, but honestly it wasn't bad. I made the trip from Buckhead and back in under 30 minutes. There were only two people ahead of me, and I had my food in about five minutes. I've heard the waits can get much longer during busy times, so just keep that in mind.

I loved the caramelized jalepeno slices since they added it beautiful hint of spicy sweetness to the dish. The bread has a nice chew and it does not get soggy fast. - CONS: Not that special. I dont know why it's "korean" since it tasted like a normal cheesesteak but with a few jalapenos. I also wish they added in more jalapenos (I got like 3). 2) Garlic Fries with Ranch: - PROS: Very nice texture with a crispy outside and fluffy inside that is not too dense. The flavor comes from the garlic mince that is on top. The ranch is like a mixture of an aioli and tartar sauce (I think they make it in house, correct me if I'm wrong). - CONS: Inconsistent texture as some of the fries were dense but a few had that good hollow crisp bite. Quite oily too. Overall, I enjoyed the cheesesteak but would probably skip the fries next time. I do believe it is good especially the bread. I don't think it is worth all the hype it gets, but it is good.

Holeman and Finch is known for its burger, and deservedly so, but I can't stress enough how good the other food and drink are here. Looking at the current list of Atlanta restaurants in the Michelin Guide, I think Holeman and Finch deserves to be included. I wonder why they got snubbed. Holeman and Finch relocated to Colony Square in Midtown in February 2023. The restaurant validates parking in the Colony Square garage for two hours. We stayed just over two hours and ended up paying $6. I like to enter and exit the garage via Peachtree St NE. There's also an entrance/exit on 14th St NE, next to The Starling hotel. We used to go to the original location in Brookwood/South Buckhead circa 2010 when only 24 burgers were made per night and released at 10pm. Holeman and Finch existed in that location from 2008 to 2020. It was quite the Yelp hot spot: https://www.yelp.com/biz/holeman-and-finch-atlanta-2 This new location at Colony Square is way more spacious and looks great. The Bloody Mary was strong and so delicious that I gulped it down. All of the dishes were beautifully plated and finished. The oysters were fresh, superb quality, and cleanly shucked. They forgot the crackers, but that's okay. I highly recommend the deviled eggs. They were perhaps the best we've ever had anywhere. If you're unfamiliar with Pickapeppa, it's a sweet and savory Jamaican brown sauce that is used to make the mayo for this dish. There was nothing "simple" about the Simple Lettuces salad. It was pretty much a perfect, tasty, and refreshing salad. As for the H+F Cheeseburger, it's a classic and continues to be one of the best burgers around. Every bite is just so good, and the ketchup and mustard remain distinct. If you've never had the burger before, get it here or at H&F Burger at Ponce City Market. The Truist Park version isn't the same and I've never tried the Mercedes-Benz Stadium version (the old Turner Field version was legit, though). If you like gravlax, wow - the gravlax here is amazing and really well made. The Vegetable Plate was terrific as well. It featured potatoes, okra, beans, succotash, mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and more with a fried onion ring on top. It's a great dish to share. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was top-notch - exceptional texture and flavor, and perfectly paired with a scoop of dense vanilla ice cream. Our server was Jonathan R.
