My wife and I stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a seat on the patio to enjoy a beautiful Saturday. We'd been here once before and remembered it being good and it didn't disappoint. I had the Cobb salad (no bacon) with green goddess dressing, which was fresh and really flavorful, plus the smoked chicken was a nice touch. My wife ordered the haddock with a Caesar salad and it was fried perfectly with a generous portion. I had to taste a piece of fish and it was really good! We also took the bread pudding to go huge slice, homemade taste, and a great way to end the meal. If we're on this side of town again, we'd definitely come back. You cannot see this place from the main road. This location is tucked in the back of a parking lot. I sat in the bar which was weird. The bar has seats. There are also stand alone tables and booths in the bar area. For some reason, the bartender is expected to handle drinks, seats at the bar, and the tables and booths in the bar area. The bartender has to come from behind the bar to serve customers. Also, the kitchen kept calling for the bartender for help. What is going on? The bartender did his best and I received good service. I just felt bad for the poor bartender. I ordered the Yard Burger. I love the mix of blue cheese and bacon jam. The salty and sweet really makes the burger memorable for a good reason. Visited for dinner on a Wednesday evening with my book club. I think there were eight of us and we were able to get a nice large table together. Service was very good. Our server checked on us regularly and kept the beverages filled. I had the Yard burger with grilled asparagus and I was thrilled to have a vegetable option instead of the ubiquitous fries. The asparagus was great, also: well cooked but not soggy and with just a bit of char and seasoning. The burger was tasty too. I decided to had apple and peach turnovers for dessert. It was three strips of dough like long ravioli dusted with sugar, forming a pyramid over a scoop of vanilla ice cream and the fruit in syrup. Really delicious and quite pretty too. The dining room was comfortable and a little dim. Not too noisy for book club. Several rooms and and outdoor area were available so people could be spread out from each other. Great place! Sat outside on the patio on a fantastic night. From the moment I walked in the team was great! Super friendly and my server Morgan was very helpful. I had the Steak and Frites which were great. The steak was cooked perfectly and the straw onions combined with the sauce on the steak elevated the meat. The sides were also excellent. Been here several times and only have great things to say! The food here is amazing, it's made fresh and portions are quite large! Presentation is also wonderful and everything comes out piping hot! I really like their crab cakes, it comes in a nice sauce with corn and cucumber for texture contrast and some acidity, while the crab cake is delicious and generous in size! Their dipping sauces are also great, I love the smoked paprika the most. Fries come out super fresh and delicious, and their sandwiches are also great! Another amazing thing is the service! They are super attentive to you and are really friendly, I always feel really welcomed and amazed by the quality of service they have, from the front host to the waiters and waitresses! Being so close to the office, I enjoy stopping by for lunch or for going out with coworkers. I usually go to the Stockyard in Marietta Square but I've been venturing down to this one down in Vinings bc I like the bartenders, like the outdoor seating, and it's a bit more spacious. Also the parking is easier to access although leaving and turning out can be a headache (just go right don't even attempt a left turn). Anyways, love the food. Go to are the burgers, and salmon Caesar salad. SO GOOD! I rotate through the burgers although lately I've been on the Jane's Not so Plain. Just so good. Stopped in quite randomly after voting on our way to Cold Stone across the parking lot. I have to say our server was the best part of the night (James) He was so nice, knowledgeable, and energetic. I alsed for a change to my dinner order and he didn't mess it up at all. Food was good, Not excellent but good. Loved out two apps (pork belly and the tots). For dinner we had the chicken sandwich, i added pimento cheese and took off the pickles - it is one that the piece of chicken is twice the size of the bun. Just a heads up if like me that bugs you (it just makes it hard to eat) There was also like an entire salad of greens on there that i just had ot take off (like a comical amount) Again not bad just like a lot lol Mu husband had the burger with the mac on it and he loved that. He can eat a lot but had to bring part of this home. Sio it's a lot of food. We both felt that the fries had good flavor but needed salt which was not ont he table, and were a little soggy. We brought them home and put them int eh air fryer and they were great. We both really liked our drinks. I would absolutely go here again, especial as they do a half priced bottle of wine and will cork it for you if need be on Wednesdays and it snot too far from our home. She answered our questions about the menu but was less than enthusiastic about their offerings. My better half ordered the Yard Burger and I ordered the pimento Patty Melt. Both of us got the Frites with Garlic Aioli dipping sauce. The fries were hot but they had been refried a second time. Not the best Frites. The menu here was very unique and the food was pretty good. The service was attentive but not too overbearing. We weren't able to try any cocktails on this visit but I'm sure they would be really tasty. My husband ordered a fry board for an appetizer, which I was initially skeptical of, but it was delicious and huge. The dipping sauces were great. I ordered a dirty south burger which was super filling and a little messy! I would probably get something different next time just because I'm not the biggest bbq fan but I couldn't pass up a burger with mac and cheese on it. First time dinning at this restaurant, I liked the location plus they had ample outdoor seating so, we opted to sit outside. Stockyard is tucked away, nestled in this cul-de-sac far enough from the street that the noise level was minimal to nonexistent, and the bonus....it started to rain . I got the Dirty South burger with parm truffle fries, even though the Lamb burger was quite tempting but the Mac-and-cheese won me over. I'm not turning down a Mac-and-cheese burger. I love sweat and savory combinations so, the sweet and savory nature of the Apple Butter BBQ sauce with the burger and Mac worked for me, I really liked it. I wasnt the biggest fan of the fries though...I like crispy fries although the size (they are not small) and the flavor was there the lack of crunch was a let down. Now the mac-and-cheese maybe this was just my portion but it wasn't good enough to be a solo act. It needed a supporting cast. Alone it was nice and cheesy as it should be, but lacked flavor or maybe just missing salt. So that was another let down. But overall the meal together was good they worked well with the burger. The hostes and staff were very friendly and our server had great energy and was very attentive. Def will revisit to try the Lamd burger and smoked Nachos. read more

The service was great! We went around 3, so it was pretty empty on a Monday.very quiet and had nice decor. I got a strawberry margarita that I didn't get to take a pic of. I liked it, but wasn't in love with it. It tasted a little watered down. I asked for extra simple syrup, but that also tasted watered down. We loved the sweet potato tots, I didn't eat the pork, but the tots were cooked great, fresh out the fryer. The Caesar salad that I had was really good, but I was not a fan of the croutons. Arrived on Saturday with a group of friends for dinner and drinks. We started with the angus corn dogs. They were surprisingly good. The batter was super light and crispy. Our entries included: blackened salmon, pimento patty melt, bulleit bacon chicken and chicken strips. The blackened salmon was cooked perfectly at medium, the bed of broccoli, kale, asparagus and brussels was a great compliment. The bulleit bacon chicken was a little on the dry side. The patty melt had good flavor, but the grilled pimento and caramelized onion made the toast a bit soggy. The chicken strips were good and had a good light batter that was fried very well. The chicken was dry. Tony the server, just as dry, was assigned our table, for a party of 6 plus. He took our drink orders and returned with drinks and took our food orders. With assistance from another wait staff member he delivered our fare. Because he was guaranteed 18% gratuity he never checked on us. Finally another employee was summoned and he was successful getting Tony to return to our table. We asked for "to go" food containers. He brought them and our checks. The ambiance was ok. It was a beautiful clear Sunday afternoon with temperatures about 75 degrees. Another great dining experience on Saturday, November 26th! Our party of 7 was seated in the back, which was a first for us. It was perfect since that's where their two televisions are located above the bar. Julie was our server and she juggled all our questions and requests with ease. She went above and beyond for my family, was so accommodating! We ordered a Fry Board as an appetizer and it disappeared in not time. The Bacon Bulliet Chicken still remains to be my favorite. I love their sweet potato tots dipped in paprika aioli. My dad was offered a complimentary dessert for his birthday, he selected the bread pudding and it was served a la mode. Service was no good. I asked to sit outside because there was live music. It's literally 1:00pm on a Saturday and maybe 10 people here. At least 3 servers passed me and nothing. They literally ignored me. I gave them 10 minutes then I grabbed my stuff to leave and Kevin, the bartender, came out and took my order. He was the saving grace. I've been meaning to go here for years but only think about it when I go to the doctor. So I finally decided to grab some takeout from Stockyard. I ordered online from their website. Even though I had to create another login, it works well as you automatically join a loyalty program. And after I picked up my first order, I receive $5 off at their restaurant. When I arrived at the restaurant, the parking lot has a substantial amount of parking and it's free. Which takes that hassle out of going to grab food. The only thing is that there is an active train track right next to the restaurant and you could stopped by it for some time. So plan your route wisely. When I walked in to pick up my food, a hostess immediately directed me to the bar area to get it. As soon as I walked over, the waitress asked me for my name and I received my food instantly. I did notice the restaurant was spacious with outdoor, indoor and bar seating. This would make a nice time out with family, friends or a date night. Now for the burger! It was delicious! I order the Dirty South burger and although I requested medium on the burger it came out well done, no pink in the center but it was juicy enough to enjoy. The frites were server in a metal basket which was a bit much but there was enough to be enjoyed. The garlic aioli dipping sauce was a great accompaniment that was recommended by Shaniqua and it helped make the meal enjoyable.
