This was the first one we found on our way back. The restaurant was clean. It's the standard BK - nothing fancy, decent booths and tables. The soft drink multi-dispenser looked like it had been attacked with aggressive cleaners - the chrome was missing off the ice dispenser lever, and off the button. I've never seen one that damaged, and I've seen a bunch of them. We were greeted and our order taken. It took 7 minutes to get our food, and they weren't that busy. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich and I had a Whopper with cheese. I watched my Whopper sit on the tray for 5 of those 7 minutes waiting for the chicken sandwich. By the time we sat down to eat, the Whopper was luke-warm The fries were pretty hot. My wife's chicken sandwich wasn't hot like straight from the fryer. So it could have been better. Hands Down the most filthiest food establishment in Oaklawn. But the hits don't stop there the EMPLOYEES are the Rudest people also. It's quite obvious they all Hate their jobs. There was literally one car ahead of me in line and it took 15 minutes to get to the window. I choose this location instead of the one closer to where I live. I have been here a few times and usually it's without incident, until this morning. I ordered 2 sandwiches that were supposed to have egg, cheese and ham. One sandwich only had egg and half the bread was missing as of it was bitten into The other sandwich had egg, cheese and ham. I can't believe they keep doing the same thing after two years I saw other people has posted that the employees pretend they're not there when you pull up at the drive thru. Same thing happened to me . We placed an order and went to pick it up and even when we saw this guys inside he pretend he wasn't there and run to hide behind the counter. Upon arrival the drive they was out of order so I headed in to eat and the lady working was rude. You can tell she hated her job. I order my number 8 with onion rings instead of fries and sat down. I have never ever had a good experience at this Burger King. 99% of the time, they tell you at the drive thru that their register system is "updating" so you have to go in. Everyone is incredibly rude. They will literally give you your food and not say "have a good day" or anything nice. Let me first say that I used to be a big fan of Burger King during my school days, but my last two visits to this chain has changed my mind. About six months ago at another location I got a severe case of food poisoning, I was in bed for a full day. Now to my last visit at this location. Order a whopper and soft drink, so far so good. Grab the tray and found out that it had a huge glob of congealed cat sup on it. Now my hand is far of junk as my coat. But I was wondering when did Burger King start using White Castle hamburger patties for their whoppers? The patty was a lot smaller in diameter than the bun, paper thin, and not even to well cooked. Just visited this newly remodeled BK. It was terrible to see that the restaurant was a terrible mess. Garbage on the floors and tables. Smashed food all over the play area, over flowing garbage can. My husband took my son to the restroom and found a partially eaten burger stuffed in the drain with the wrapper. I did alert the man working at the counter who was polite and did do some light cleaning before his shift ended. It since has not been touched. There is an employee walking around with garbage bags hanging out of his back pockets but his duties are interfering with his continual smoke breaks right outside the front door. We have recently given Burger King another try. We have discovered that after driving home, 5 minutes away, the Whoppers are always cold. Fortunately, 25 seconds in the microwave bring them to proper temperature. Today, the Whopper that was supposed to have tomato and onion, had none of either. The other Whopper with onion, had one slice from a small onion. BKs fries are terrible, and onion rings are pretty weak, so we were happy to see mozzarella sticks w/marinara on their app. We ordered an 8 PC. Looking in the bag, we saw BBQ sauce. We questioned that and we're told they didn't have marinara. We questioned what we were supposed to eat with mozzarella sticks, and we're told they never had mozzarella sticks. So they gave us an 8 PC ckn nugget instead, which tasted awful. I'm not sure why mozzarella sticks are on the app if they never sold them. I would go to BK once in a while, because the Whopper is tasty, when warmed at home. But because they have no tasty side items, I'll probably stay away. read more

Our order today was not even complicated and somehow my Impossible Whopper with cheese was missing the cheese, ketchup, onion and tomato. Literally every single time I come here something is not working or they are out of something. I'm here right now and they are saying the registers are down. This is the third time in a row that this has happened. I'm reading the other post that say the same thing. How can you possibly have that many issues with your registers and not have someone come fix them. It must be something else like everyone is taking a break at the same time or I don't know what. And when the registers are not down, they are out of something, usually chicken nuggets or mozzarella sticks. You figure if you were out of items that often you would order more of them, especially since they are frozen it's not like they're going to go bad if you order too much. The only reason why we come here is because it's the only place with a play place nearby. Tried to give this place one more shot. They really need to think about closing this location or getting a new franchise owner or manager...SOMETHING needs to be done. Went to this location on Saturday Dec 7 at around 5pm - went to the drive through and waited for about 10 min for someone to acknowledge me. Ended up trying to go in to order. All lights on but doors were locked. Employee comes to the door to say that "we are short staffed, our lobby is closed but I am keeping the drive thru open" . I was really hungry so I went through the drive thru again. Ordered my food. Not ONLY was the food WRONG AGAIN it wasn't warm AT ALL. Fries were cold. Burger was cold. REALLY wish they would do better. I will be finding a new Burger King to patronize in the future. read more
