This is my 1st review and it's because their inability of getting your order correct. I had stopped going to the Oak Lawn - Cicero Ave location in March because the last 2 orders I had where messed up. The 1st time I had ordered the original chicken tenders and received Buffalo Chicken tenders. Next time- the condiments for the burgers were incorrect-not even close. When you want no mayo-and you get mayo- it sucks! Both times it was part of a much larger order. That led us to going to the Crestwood Culvers. They have been batting 1.000%. It is so refreshing that what you order is what you get! After a 3-month hiatus we stopped today at the Oak Lawn Culvers, since it was on our way home. We ordered 2 double cb baskets. You guessed it- the condiments were wrong again-not even close. Again, mayo appears when you specifically ask for no mayo besides other things you asked for and didn't get (grilled onions). I've learned my lesson. It's a shame when you consider its twice as far for me to go to Crestwood than to Oak Lawn. When I bring these things to the manager's attention- it feels like he's overwhelmed. read more

Culver's always been one of my favorite places even though I don't eat meat but I love their butterfly shrimp dinner that comes with a dinner roll with butter, 6 crispy fried butterfly shrimps with cocktail sauce, Cole slaw and fries. It is absolutely delicious. My hubby got the 3 piece fried cod fish dinner and my little guy got their delicious double Swiss cheese mushroom burger with fries and they both enjoyed it. We also got the scoop of the day which was the chocolate Caramel twist and that was fantastic! This particular Culver's is absolutely amazing. Super clean and the staff is phenomenal. April and Joseph is super friendly and soooo nice. They were out of ketchup and Joseph immediate refilled it and when I thanked him, he was polite and friendly. April helped me with my order and not only she is knowledgeable, she was patient and never made me feel like I was taking up too much of her time. An elderly customer who had trouble walking to the booth with a cup of piping hot coffee, April walked the elderly customer carrying her coffee for her. And treated the elderly customer with respect. Talk about great service! 10 out of 10 just by witnessing this alone. Above and beyond for sure!!! Love love love! read more

Ah, good ol Culver's. You can never go wrong here. Until..... My wife and I had a coupon, buy one double with cheese and get one free. I have had these before but this time, oh boy! I upsold my own order by ordering a triple with cheese and a double with cheese. I have done this before. But this time my order was rejected. I could not have a triple. I had to order and pay for a double then I would get the other double free. I said what???? Are you hearing what you are saying? So, I ended up hungry but it was delicious. The food is very tasty I always order from this location. When you order fish you have to tell them that you do not want tartar sauce because they always give it to you. I inform the young male employing that I did not want tartar sauce and as usual he gave it to me anyway and did not give me that give me the cocktail sauce that I requested. Every time I've been here it's been great. Today, however, they messed up my order. My deluxe burger was missing 3 items. I only asked for them to omit onions. Instead, they also left off the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. They also got my mixer wrong. I didn't get any raspberries. It also wasn't quite "mixed." Most of the chocolate brownie was in a big mass covering the bottom. The frozen custard mixers are usually delicious, too. The custard somehow tasted different, too. Not as good. Very disappointing experience. I don't indulge in fast food much, so this visit was a treat. Or at least it was supposed to be. Don't think I'll be returning to this location after today's mistakes. read more

Decent fast food. Someone in the group had a taste for butter burgers so we did take out from the Culver's on Cicero in Oak Lawn. Service was a little slower than McDonalds which was a good thing.... they don't make it until you order it. Everyone else liked their burgers, I got a chicken sandwich and let's just say for the calories I should have gone elsewhere. But as I said, everyone that ordered a burger was happy. Mushroom and Swiss was a particularly big hit. I will give them points for not only having GF buns but also having them Hot, in a sealed bag. But the chicken was only ok and had I known I probably would have opted to just eat from the kitchen at home. Ever since this Culver's has been in my area, I haven't went to any other burger spot nearly as much!! First off, the customer service is ALWAYS great!! Food is fairly priced, always hot and fresh, waiting time is not bad at all, and even on the inside (well, pre-COVID, anyway), they kept things clean on a regular basis, the place was well-lit, and not a long wait at all for food. Even recently, when they did not get my order correct and I called to let the manager know, even though I told her that was OK and I didn't need anything, she sent me coupons for two free meals. I genuinely appreciate that. One more thing about the food: when you ask for bacon, they don't play...you have good bacon action going on!!! Upon entering one of their staff members held the door for me as soon as I walked in they had a person waiting at the register on me even though I did not decide what I was going to purchase they waited. The cashier made recommendations and seem very supportive of my questions and answered things When I showed confusion. The bathrooms were clean and in the entire front area the tables are clean. As we ate a person came around and checked on us to see if we needed any items. Someone came and picked up our trays of food we didn't even have to take him to the trashcan. The last time I was at culvers their hamburgers were greasy , burnt , and salty . I used to buy from there every couple weeks it was really fresh and hamburgers were the best but either they changed the quality of the meat at a lower price and lower quality they get and pass it on to their customers at a higher price that's just not worth it . I was extremely excited to see that Oak Lawn was receiving a Culver's. I must say that I wasn't disappointed with my visit. The franchise is definitely in par with the standards that the company commits to. As a person who enjoys the quality that comes from Culver's, everything was just as expected. When I entered to meet a friend, I was greeted immediately by the staff behind the counter. The wait in line was not bad at all. As we went to search out a seat, the floor staff were attentive to the needs of the customers and making sure that the tables where ready to receive new customers. Our food arrived within seven minutes and was fresh. As we dined, the floor staff made sure to check in on us throughout our visit. Culver's in Oak Lawn was excellent experience. But also very judgmental and unprofessional on her's! Like, who cares what order people request things in! For all you know, the customer has a 4 year old screaming in the back and you just need to let the worker know the dessert order to hush up the 4 year old or something! Been coming to Culver's for years and happened to try the Cod Dinner today. What an AMAZING seafood dinner for a fast food restaurant... very impressed. Staff was extremely friendly, the location was clean and inviting. I was greeted at the door by staff and my dinner was delivered to my table in about 2 minutes. Got a Oreo mint milkshake and it tasted like raw eggs. I asked for a new one and it still tasted like raw eggs. Everyone I was with got milkshakes or malt and all of them tasted like raw eggs. When we all took our shakes (my already replaced) back after one sip they had no reaction as if they knew it was bad and they offered no refunds or no apology.
