The bar is old and wooden with comfortable seats. It has a really nostalgic feel, like an urban neighborhood pub from decades ago. Plenty of tables, and I've heard rumors of an upper deck that is open at appropriate times. There is also outdoor seating on High Street. The atmosphere is undoubtedly very different on a Friday night when it's packed with upper classmen throwing back shots, but on a weekday late afternoon suppertime I'd say it's family friendly and welcoming to all. (I even saw a sign behind the bar: No explicit lyrics before 9 pm.) There were several staff members at work either making food or behind the bar. They were all quite young, and quite friendly and cheerful. I'm holding off on the fifth star till we get a chance to try the food.
