Has to be one of the best McDonald's I have ever been to. Food is always good quality, dining area is usually pretty clean. For such a busy place, they are doing a great job of keeping it all together. Even when I go in during the lunch rush, all the workers look cool and calm, and they are friendly at all hours. I go through the drive-thru often, and there is a woman named Melissa who takes the orders/works first window a lot of the time. She is amazing. Employees are usually good but the food is consistently bad. The majority of the time (seriously a majority) my nuggets are cold and overcooked. I remember buying a Mc Double, 2 small burger patties 1 slice of cheese for $1.29 quite delicious. That was after years ago. Today 5/13/26 I went thru drive thru and bought 2 of them, sharing 1 with my wife. Both sandwiches had burned up and dry as abone from desert. The cheese was cold just lipQke the patties were! Food is hot most of the time. You will get pulled forward, though, if you order anything more than a cheeseburger. We have been pulled forward every single time we have came here. I got pulled forward for just a Big Mac the other day with no cars behind me. Seems like whoever is running this McDonald's is more concerned about their numbers than their service. Today, got pulled forward again, and this time the food was cold anyways. I think they pull people forward even when the food is done and get all the smaller orders done first so they have super good numbers which is very, very bad if they want good customer service. I can't count how many free hashbrown fliers we have sitting around. Honestly, we've joked about bringing them all in and showing the manager how many times we've been pulled forward, but I'm sure they are the main culprit of that sort of service. I didn't receive the order. They locked all the doors and blocked off the drive-through and I saw two people that were employees just sitting in the lobby vaping and drinking Coke. They wouldn't give me a refund or answer the phone either and marker the pick up order as completd. There was at least 15 people from DoorDash that were trying to pick up mobile orders really confused and waiting outside trying to figure out why the app and DoorDash says they're open but they've locked the doors and blocked the drive-through anyways. It seems like employees just didn't feel like working tonight and didn't want to tell their managers so they closed the entire building, but didn't report to DoorDash or to the website that they are closed. read more

Unsure what has happened to this place in the last two years but this restaurant used to be the bellweather of all McDonalds that I ever visited. Quality and service were always outstanding but now it's just overall terrible. The service is still fast, but the quality of the food is terrible. One of the workers told me it was because they are forced to follow more closely the directives from corporate. Went from eating there once every 8 days to once every 45 days and even that is just because of the convenience. read more

I ordered a happy meal with 4 piece chicken nuggets and a frozen toy. I came to a conclusion of a 1 star review when I opened the McNuggets box and I saw two small cookies in the wrong place. I got the frozen toy though so that's 2 for 1. But for real, gimme the nugs next time. read more

The fact that McD is one of the highest rated restaurants in Oxford Ohio tells you all there is to know about the town. There's absolutely no reason to be in Oxford unless your kid was declined admission to OSU, IU, Purdue, etc. This is a great McDonald's though. read more

I'm in a reminiscence of my college life and me and McDonald have surely crossed our lines here. I studied at Miami University and this McDonald was on the other side of my apartment and had turned out to be my all time favorite and go-to choice for fast food. Breakfast would always be the "big breakfast" and the orange juice was a delicious choice. Sometimes coffee or yogurt parfait but the fruit in the parfait was always frozen which is not a tasty choice and suggesting it had been kept under very low temperature and perhaps for the purpose of storing them for a long time. Other than that, I recommend fries, sundaes, and chicken nuggets partly because I'm never a fan of hamburger but I'm sure they are good. I ordered food through door dash and I asked for sauce multiple times. There was no sauce. My fries were limp and cold.

Just can't do it any more. Last 5 visits: Monday before Christmas, ordered a double fish meal and paid for a double fish meal, got a single with ice cold cheese and microwaved pre. Cooked bun and fillet. (An exact repeat of the week before) Wednesday or Thursday before Christmas I go on my lunch break at 2:00AM and the 24 hour McDonald's was closed. Again on January 3rd took 15 min. Of my 30 min lunch break 24 hour McDonald's is closed with a hand made sign in the drive thru. Went again at 1:30AM on January 4th and ordered two cheese burgers and a Mc chicken. The cheese burgers tasted like pure salt with ice cold cheese and the chicken sandwich was so long ago cooked and reheated that it was not chewable. The Swiss cheese was like a really thin piece of plastic. I just can't waste my time and money anymore. One of the best McDonald's my 23 year-old self has been to - and that's quite a few! Its always being clean inside and impressively-swift drive-thru certainly help, but the real pinnacle of this location is the staff. Go in on a Saturday morning and there are sure to be 20+ people whipping food together - all seemingly having at least a half-decent time, and all looking comfortingly presentable (fast food locations tend to have a kitchen staff that make you think "Oh god, did I make mistake?" whenever you witness them preparing your food, but nope - not this one). It was this past Saturday morning that inspired me to finally write a review for this place, actually. After going through the epitome of dreaded drive-thru experiences. Half way through a line of 15+ cars and two cars after the order speaker, I came to the delightful realization that my wallet I had not. Nor did I have my phone. Or enough change in my pay-the-meter compartment. The bullets began to be sweat. I gave the cashier the 8-word summary of my situation (for the sake of time...he had cars to feed!) and ended up taking the #12 off my order and just paying $1.00 in change for my coffee. Then came the food window. At which they were confused by why I now just wanted coffee and not my meal. Once they too were on the same page, the manager gave an "Oh please" look, handed me both the food and the coffee, and said "Have a great day." Thank you, McDonald's. The ratings that this McDonald's has should tell you a lot. This is the only one that I ever go to. Always ridiculously clean and fast. Honestly, this a very good McDonald's. They are always super busy, but I always get my food within a few minutes. The drive through can have very long lines at some times, but it only takes 5 minutes to get through and get your food. I have been here so many times and they never have messed up my order.
