Horrible Management. You will see my earlier review from July, 2020 below where the Oxford, Ohio Papa Johns Pizza offered coupons in a Talawanda High School sports coupon "book". The books are sold to raise much-needed funds for local sports programs- especially in this time of COVID 19. The local Oxford, Ohio Papa Johns Pizza refused to accept the coupon in July, 2020 days after the coupon book came out. We swore not to spend a dime there since, and we did not. The coupon book expires 2/28/2021, so we gave them one more chance. With one of the affected Talawanda High School sports students standing in the Papa Johns store on February 20th, 2021 with the coupon in hand- they STILL did not accept it. And still NO explanation as to why not. (They might be horrible people, but hey- at least they are CONSISTENTLY HORRIBLE!). Our family is done with the Oxford Ohio Papa Johns. read more

Do not order any delivery from this store, it happened twice they sent my food to my neighbors. So, I just have a quick question can you guys just cancel your own delivery services and give it to the door dash or something else, since at least their delivery person can read the location Also, I really like their services because they send the wrong location without a single apology. read more

Not usually my go-to for pizza in Oxford, but they often have a lot of great deals if you sign up for the Papa Rewards and receive their emails. I have never had any problems with them and I have only ever ordered online and had it delivered to me. They work well with on campus and off campus living and it is super convenient. Usually if you order on a Tuesday/Wednesday, that is when they have the best deals and I order accordingly. Their pizza heats up well and tastes very good as left overs. I love their cheese sticks, which is essentially cheese covered pizza dough with some garlic and herbs on it. Dip it in some of the pizza sauce that you order on the side and it is absolutely delicious!! If you are craving pizza but are super on a budget, this is also about half of the price of a normal pizza and it still tastes really good. The quality is exactly what I expect from Papa John's and I will continue ordering from them once we go back on campus. read more

Meh. Doughy, big crust, speciality pizzas should not be as expensive as they are. Pizza feels synthetic. Make a good dessert though.

They dropped my pizza before I was given it and then the assistant manager called me after I emailed wanting a refund and was SO rude. They were on speaker and my family was shocked at how I was talked to. They said it was my fault that the pizza was not only made wrong but dropped--how does that even make since. They gave me a free pizza but said that I needed to be "more careful next time". Literally --THE PIZZA WAS DROPPED. So rude I am actually fuming and will never eat here again and honestly anyone who wants half decent customer service should consider eating otherwise as well because--and I do not say this lightly-- the assistant manager is vile, rude, and does not act in a professional manner that you would expect from anyone in any level of manager position. Took over 2 hours to arrive after I called them twice wondering where my pizza was, when it arrived it was undercooked and doughy in a gross way. I tried to contact HQ to discuss a refund and was ignored!!!! To top it all off the pizza gave me food poisoning and I literally shit my pants from it. NEVER ORDERING FROM PJ AGAIN. Would highly recommend dominos over oxford Papa Johns. Never had an issue with them and friends who have had had excellent experiences dealing with customer service and refunds. read more

My friend ordered pizza for all of us a few weeks ago, and it took two and a half hours to be delivered. This would have been fine if when he had placed the order, they had told him this was the wait time. What tegu told him instead was that they would be there in 45-65 minutes. After an hour and a half, we were told that "they were on their way", but after waiting two hours we were worried that the pizza wouldn't be any good by the time they delivered. My friend spoke to the manager, who was really rude, and all she still couldn't tell us where the pizza was. The manager offered 50% off the next pizza my friend ordered, but he now refuses to patronize that Papa Johns. When the pizza did arrive, it was predictably cold. They didn't have to give us a free meal or be on time, etc. I get that things happen and deliveries sometimes take 2-3x as long as they're supposed to. But when that happens, I expect that the manager is not going to be rude and abrasive. It's a chain pizza place and hopefully this was a fluke, but I won't ever use the Oxford Papa John's again. read more

All I hear on TV these days is how great Papa Johns pizza is! However, when Papa John's first came to the Oxford Ohio location, some years ago, I couldn't get anyone to wait on me when I came to pick up my pizza. They looked at me and turned their heads. When the delivery guy came in, he was shocked that no would wait one me. So, he got the pizza for me and stated, " this isn't my job but did I'll get it for you anyway" Is this the attitude of all Papa Johns? Maybe/maybe not. But that one incident has kept me from ever buying or going into any Papa Johns restaurant since. BTW. I am an Afr. Amer. female. read more

Pathetic! Ordered online at 5:30. Called at 7:00, because the pizza hadn't arrived. I was assured it was on it's way. 7:45...no pizza. Called again and was told the driver returned our pizzas to the store because we didn't answer the phone. He stated the phone number. It was correct. No one called. No one knocked. No one rang the bell. Manager refused to expedite another order to us, but would redeliver the 2 hour old pizzas. What?!?!? Pathetic. read more
