Burger King advertises to ask for "grill ready" to make sure that your burger is done then, and hot. Our trip there before handed us a cold burger, so this time we asked for it to be served "grill ready" and even said that we would wait extra time for it. We received it within two minutes and cold as before. We politely said something about it and a guy came out and was very rude and said that it was our fault that it was not hot...this is the way it came off the grill. I have only ever had one bad experience here and that's because I didn't know how to read the menu, and got exactly what I ordered. (I'm from a small town so I'm used to privately owned companies and different formats.) usually the staff here is friendly and polite, you can hear them cheerfully talking in the back as they work. My food comes out pretty quickly, and it's always hot. The lobby is usually surprisingly clean for such a busy place. A few months ago I tried their dragon flame grilled whopper, and it was delicious. When I get vegetables in my food they're relatively fresh, lettuce and tomato still holding its form. I was a little disappointed when they removed the Powerade option for a fountain drink, but it's not like I can't just go and get one at a grocery store so it's no more than a mild inconvenience, and they're entitled to stop carrying a product if they choose to. I'm always happy with my food there. Much better than McDonald's! read more

These guys will for sure f*ck up you're order, so MAKE SURE to double, triple check your order! Triple meaning open up you're burger and whatever you DID NOT want on your burger, is gonna be there, so save the time and gas and pissedoffness, and listen to my advice! Hahaha! This location is far, far above average for this chain and I was quite surprised, too. I always try to suspend expectations when choosing a national brand but I will confess to a fair amount of anti corporate burger bias. These guys blew away any doubts that when done correctly, BK still makes a great burger. Service was fast & friendly and the fries were super hot and crispy! Best part of the fries is that I didn't taste old oil! BAM!! I was super tickled that they got my special order burger correct as well (hot & juicy, too!). WTG north Idaho!! read more

The staff were friendly but they forgot about our order it was only 2 baby cones, one small cone and a Oreo shake. We had to remind them that we put in an order and then they bring us the cones and a chocolate shake. To which we did not complain, oh well. read more

So, a lot of people get upset with the quality of Burger King but it all goes back to who applies to be honest the pandemic has made it really challenging for all the local restaurants every time I come here I get what I ordered yes they make mistakes but for a lot of the workers it's their first job and I think that people just need to have more patience and remember that in the back of their mind read more

Employees wear masks off noses and around chin. Customers were standing around, packed, without masks. Burger King needs to teach employers how to wear masks and enforce it! There food is not near good enough to risk my life, my families lives, or my community! read more

Last time I went to the Ponderay BK was early last fall. They had a special, two whoppers for $5. Got home to Sandpoint, started eating, had to spit it out. It was doughy bread, no flavor. Salvaged the patties added a little salt, that's all that was eatable. Won't go there again, even the patties didn't have that trademark flame broiled taste. The temporary Arby's burger thought reminded me of what Burger King used to taste like, it was pretty good. read more

Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and cheese fries yesterday. Worst chicken sandwich I have ever eaten! Chicken was all batter and soggy with sauce! I could not eat it! This place is definitely not the cleanest Burger King I have been to. Shake machine has built up drip stains, little platform they put ready burgers was covered in grease. This place also needs to be renoed! Check your order before you leave, chances it is wrong if you ask for (no cheese, no lettuce, no onions, etc) anything different than the standard way they make things and there is a high probability it will be wrong. read more

Rude employees are a direct reflection on how management takes care of their business and their employees. When placing an order, it's best for the customer to not feel like we are a major inconvenience to the employees day. Granted, this is just a fast food joint, but there are basic standards for how to treat people, and this location clearly is not up to speed on those standards read more

Went here to grab some quick breakfast. We ordered $8 worth of food and it took over 25 minutes for them to give us our order. The workers move slower than snails. We asked why it was taking so long and all the cashier said was oh I know. No apologies or anything. Our food was cold when we finally got it and they missed a few items. It is like a third world country in the kitchen. there were so many flies ,they tried to carry my son away. i have never seen a dirtier kitchen ever. it was like a scene out of a scary movie where they have been killing things in it and not cleaning up..GROSS !!!!! the health dept must be on a holiday because when i worked in food industry, u had to pass a health inspection.??? BK used to be my favorite burger place. Today service was so slow cars were leaving the drive up and I had to wait over 35 minutes inside for an order of 2 whoppers to go. The floors were FILTHY, employees were walking on French fries, paper stuff and other "droppings". The kitchen area was chaos and dirty. The employees looked stressed, were unfriendly and unprofessional. The order out counter was covered in non-food cleaning items. The check out guy didn't know what he was doing. It took him over 8 minutes to help the people ahead of me because they wanted extra items. He didn't know how to ring them up. The floors in the customer area were covered in trash from the dispenser area, which was a total mess. After all of this the burgers were awful! They were cold, one of the pieces of meat was folded in half. (how?) The lettuce, tomato and onion were only half on the bun and if there was any mayo I couldn't find it. I should have taken them back, but had already spent over 35 minutes in the store. I didn't have time. I will NOT RETURN to the Ponderay BK. read more
