I love burgerking just wish there buns were not steel and customer service needs some training

I came in on my lunch break, the place is obviously understaffed. Having said that the girl at the front, was running around and attending everyone's needs, taking orders, packing food and working the drive through. The food was good, I mean it's Burger King, but really the only reason I'm reviewing is because Julie ran the counter like a machine and was polite and courteous and extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me with my stupid complicated order. Her service is what will bring me back to this location. As far as ambiance I mean the place is clean and air conditioned, what else can you ask for? read more

Oh my gosh, this was possibly the worst fast food ever. We stopped to use the rest room (very very clean, nice touch). I ordered a kid's meal, 6 piece nuggets, and then went in to use the rest room while waiting. Since it was taking a while, I stepped outside so hubby could use the rest room. It still to a long long while. Why, I asked myself? It's six tiny nuggets and fries!! We finally got the food and hit the road. Surprise! There were 5 nuggets, hard as flat rocks, barely warm, with soggy barely warm fries. This was about $7 too. Because we were visiting the Carrizo Plain for the first time, we noticed there isn't much around for food. BK is NOT a good option, even under these circumstances. I should have known... I can get a crappy burger in my own home town. Next time? No thanks, BK. Back to Jacob's Burgers just up the road. read more

This place used to be the best my oh my how times change the restaurant was clean even the bathrooms the parking lot was clean and well lit they had a manager and one other employee on duty I'm not sure what was going on but neither one really cared if I was there or not both had attitudes watched the cook take fry's out of the bin and refry them making them hard and basically tasteless I asked to get my burgers off the broiler they were not they were cold and dry I ordered a chicken sandwich that didn't get in the bag this was back to back bad visits and I don't think I will be returning read more

Hands down the worst service, worst quality of food, usually have their milkshake machine down, with no line in drive thru, I waited over a 1/2 hour while a family waited 45 minutes to get their food. I haven't been back since. Place is a damn joke. Sucks too I used to love Burger King. With a staff of Taftites, this place goes to crap. read more

I have to say that I never eat at Burger King ever ever ever but I was in a bind and I had to. I am not vegan I am just vegetarian but I had the impossible burger and it was actually pretty amazing. The other ingredients to go with the burger were fresh. I'm not quite sure if I would head back to this location because it's not near me but I would definitely go back and get one of these burgers. Only reason I'm giving at four instead of five stars it's because I didn't really care for the fries but that is just preference. read more

This place is a joke spend 10 plus dollars a meal and they can't even make them right. Ordered a bacon king got this. I guess all I needed was bread and patty forget the cheese and sauce. And for the bacon it is hard and taste of sausage so that's great. I have given this place several chances as bk used to be my favorite fast food and my go to when I'm not feeling up to cooking. This place has completely changed that. They are unprofessional and for the four years I've lived in Taft have probably gotten my order right 10% of the time and I don't even modify it. I don't expect a lot from fast food chain stores, but I do expect to be treated like they want my business. I went in at about 1:20 PM on a slow afternoon (today) and there was nobody waiting to place an order. There was an employee doing something at the cash register so I waited and watched her turn around and leave -- walking to the back without greeting me. Another employee came up from the back on the other side, saw me, did what she came up to do, turned around and left toward the back again. Nobody greeted me or welcomed me or told me somebody would be with me in a minute. Since it didn't appear that they wanted my service, they didn't get it. Got the app and notifications so decided since I was in a hotel to give Burger King a try. First of all I ordered a double whopper with cheese with mustard and onion only and lettuce wrapped. The burger meet cheese and onion were oK. The mustard was forgotten. The lettuce wrap was not wrapped at all but rather it was taking shredded lettuce and putting it in a container and giving you a fork. Unable to eat the lettuce wrapped burger. If you are carb restricted a lettuce wrapped burger at BK is wishful thinking My side was their new jalapeño bites. Quite frankly take it off the menu. Terrible Virtually no cheese or jalepeno flavor but a good dose of beading. So thick and pasty. Also served not hot but Luke warm. Won't do it again. Sorry BK. read more

I've never experienced the rudest person in my life, when we walked in she had the most bitter face I've ever seen in my life , I even asked if she was ok? And we proceeded to order and she just looked spaced out or something finally, like not even wanting to take our order, I asked her name and she said Veronica I would never , never would even consider eating at this place again. I came here many times before and they ALWAYS MESS UP MY MEAL when they missed to give me my whopper with cheese i called them and told them they missed my whole burger .someone put my name on the book. When I came back in october they said yes they do have it i just wanted to verify that they did at the time i didnt want it so i came back today to pick it up and this MANAGER WAS SOOOO RUDE FROM THE START. I tild her the situatiom and she said its under New Management that its a new year 2022 that im Not going to get anything.she even turned the Screens off so I would not order. She left me on hold until the cook had to take the mic because i stood there . the cook was rude also with her broken english .so I decide to go inside because no one wanted to give me names. I went inside to order 2 ice cream cones .the cashier didnt want to give me my receipt I asked her 4 times I even asked her for her name She refused. the manager told her just click Print . when i was given my ice cream cones they were sloppy made by the cashier .they were slanted and the ice cream looked like it was going to fall !!! I had to call the BAKERSFIELD location to give me corporates number. Because the staff was ignoring me and not giving me no information at all ! Worst Burger King I have ever been to. 9/10 times the fries are room temperature not hot,and freshly made. I have complained about this before. It still happens to this day. The other issue at this Burger King the bread does not taste fresh it's dry you can easily tell the difference between fresh bread,and bread that most likely is past the freshness date. prices at Burger King are our of control. For food this costly all of it should be hot ,and fresh every time. I will not be coming back to this Burger King. read more

This Burger King is notorious for its slow and bad service. Every now and again I like to give it another try hoping to see improvement. Today was maybe not a good day for them. The line was empty and I was waiting to order, they told me just a minute.... so I waited five minutes before saying "hello?" Literally no one is there. Only to be told I'd have to wait another few minutes just to have my order taken. I knew I'd wait even longer for the food, so I backed out of the drivethru and left. Hopefully someday this location will improve, but I've never had a decent experience here. The wait times have always been 20-30 minutes, which for a drive thru is unacceptable. read more

I'm at Burger King in Taft I come here a lot and they have always been great but there is a guy named Juan that is excellent he is always a pleasant and ive never seen someone work so hard . He is handled g all the kids alone . Tue rest of the help could take some lessons he is great and no I'm not related just feel sorry for him working basically alone and super busy ! read more

So very disappointed! We stopped here on our way back home from a football game. There are not many options so we stop there at 10:30 at night. And they were open till 11:00 so we were super happy! We all have to use the bathroom because there was only a port a potty at the game. Well they had closed their bathrooms for the night because they were already cleaned. They also had already shut down their milkshake machine and coffee and icee machine. But shutting down the bathroom and not allowing us to use it at all was just infuriating. We would not have made a mess! And she acted like us being there was a HUGE inconvenience. Um hello...we are there to buy lots of food (we had 5 cheerleaders and 2 football players.) The food was fine but was super slow and the lady working was not friendly. Very disappointing visit...we will just go to Taco Bell next time. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. The deplorable management team have turned a mediocre burger chain into a sub-par restaurant. The drive thru was closed for no apparent reason and the soda machine in the lobby was out of most selections. Upon my arrival, the "manager" continued to do paperwork at the register instead of acknowledging me. The only reason I went there is because the kids begged for Burger King. Their Icee machine always seems to be broken. The soda machine always seems to be out of at least one flavor. Their menu says Dr Pepper milkshake, when I ordered it, they said they didn't have it. Not that it was out but that they didn't have it. read more

I go to the DMV in Taft because it is fast, and after I go to the Taft Burger King. The service is fast, the staff is very friendly, and the Woppers are the best in the Bakersfield area. Restaurant is also very clean. Next time you are in Taft give them a try. read more

the only time I visit the taft burger king is when I am really pressed for time and since I work at one the other business in our little compound so it becomes really convenient and I choose the drive-thru not because it is faster but because it is probably the only twenty minutes I get off my feet that day. and then from past experience with getting our food the way we would like it we have learned to keep it simple I mean how bad could they mess up kids chicken nuggets and a couple whoppers with cheese and then there is the option to dine in which is the lesser of two evils at the counter the girl who's lights are on with the terrific smile but there is defiantly no one home so she takes my order and could you believe this she made a mistake so the short tattooed Hispanic manager comes over to assist her but it is obvious that her mind is not on her job but on the other taller Caucasian manager for the observant you couldn't not notice that there was a relationship there and for those that were uncertain of that the physical displays of affection leaves no question they are a couple like I said before the only time I go there is when it is just the easiest option for me to produce some sort of meal for my family and isn't quite so bad once you learn not to have expectations read more
