MISSION IMPOSSIBLE I haven't eaten at Burger King in over 9 years but I'm a huge fan of the plant based impossible meat. I've been following the company Impossible for over 2 years and I decided that today was going to be the day I try it. I also wanted to see how Burger King was serving it. I was on a road trip and had been driving for three and half hours straight, when I pulled into the drive thru. And here is how it went.. BK Girl: Can I take your order? Me: I'd like to order the Impossible Whopper with everything on it. I also want cheese too. BK Girl: Would you like cheese? Me: Yes please put cheese on there! BK Girl: ....your total is....please drive thru! (I drive around and I pull up to the window.) BK Girl: Did you want cheese on that? Me: Yes I want cheese on the burger. BK Girl: Ok Guess what? I bit into my Impossible burger and there was no cheese. Maybe we should call it Mission Impossible the Cheese episode because apparently I'm not getting any cheese. I was a little upset. I parked my vehicle and I went inside. The man behind the counter who looked like the manager asked if there was a problem. I told him that I ordered cheese and there was no cheese. He said, "Sorry! I'll make you a fresh one!" I was happy that he was making it right. The girl who took my order and got it wrong several times decided to tell the manager that I didn't want cheese and that it was my fault. Honestly this really truly upset me. I was standing right there and listening to a lie. I literally jumped in and set the story straight. Sorry BK Girl but you were wrong on this one and secondly don't ever talk about the customer in front of the customer. That's not good customer service. I'm not sure you can multi task in the drive thru, if you can't simply get cheese right on a burger, when the customer is asking for it. I want to say thanks to the manager who handled it the right way with no questions asked. Your service was 5 stars and it did not go unnoticed by me. Thank you so much. This is why you are the manager. I am sorry to give your location only one star but the way BK girl handled herself in a truly unprofessional way and that will not go unnoticed either. I also need to review the Impossible Burger. I love the product but they way you are using it is horrible. The patty is completely dried out like a thin hockey puck. Impossible Meat chars up really nice on a flat top and it's plant based so it doesn't need to be over cooked. Going through the flame broiler is just wrong. I'm so sad that after nine years with no BK, I returned to eat this horrible mess. I'm also sad for Impossible Burger because this is not a perfect place to showcase how amazing your plant based meat is. This is a gimmick for Burger King and it is accounting for a rise in their burger sales but it needs to be good. You must go back to the drawing board on how you are cooking these patties. Now I've only had this one Impossible Whooper and maybe this location doesn't get it. Maybe they serve them dried out here but at almost $6 I'm not going to be going out of my way to try one again anytime soon at another BK. Unfortunately I choose this Mission and it was a totally failure. No one is winning in this episode. I just wanted cheese and I was denied. It's not that hard. You never know what you're going to get at this Burger King. Some days it's fresh and amazing, other times it's absolutely disgusting. I never like to write negative reviews, but tonight really just blew my mind. The food they gave my family was so stale and it was barely warm. Sunday morning 10:10am. Sign on the door says dining room is closed because there are only two employees. We were willing to be patient and sit in the drive through, since we were only the 3rd car in line. When we left at 10:30, we were still the 2nd car at the order board. With no customers in the dining room and no cars left at the window, apparently the two employees were good with just doing nothing and waiting for customers to drive off. Big mistake coming here. It was a waste of time and effort that I won't be making again. In the last 6 years I've lived in the area, there always seems to be staffing and quality issues at this location. Sign of piss poor management that obviously doesn't care. Hope they close soon so something better can occupy the space. read more

Normally I wouldn't review a random Burger King in the middle of corn-field Indiana... but my friend and I stopped here for lunch while traveling to Chicago recently and my only reason to stop was to get a super-soaker kid toy in a Happy Meal (if you know me, you'd understand). Much to my sadness I didn't get one in the drive-thu, so I ran in quick and asked... they were super nice and looked, but couldn't find one. So I left with my bobble-head and didn't think anything of it. Right after we started the car, the manager ran out and knocked on my door. He had found one and ran to give it to me. THAT IS AMAZING! The service at this location has gotten terrible. No such thing as "fast food" or convenience here. Very unfortunate.

Cashier blue hair don't wanna work ordered two combos and she only charges us one and gave us a sandwich when that wasn't what we wanted and kept stating that she didn't care about us and that if we didn't want nothing to just leave and throughout the whole time we were there she was talking whispering stuff to her other coworkers and they was laughing and just talking under there breath worse experience ever don't ever wanna come here to get food from there they should hire better employees and get rid of what they got they don't belong in a place like this and should get a new job read more

No one working the register, just an unkept employee looking unclean and slowly making sandwiches with as little effort as is possible while still legally considered to be "working". Actually it was impressive how close to the line he was able to get in looking borderline dirty and not working. Apparently not enough to get fired but enough to scare me off. read more

Yummy hot delicious food when needed I love there fresh onion rings and whoppers with cheese

Got a child's cheese burger here yesterday around 8pm. (Also got fries, chicken fries, and a coke.) I've currently been up with my 3 year old son, who ate the burger, for the last two hours while he's been vomiting every 10-15 minutes, and he doesn't have a fever, and everyone else is fine. I'm guessing the burger he had was bad and it's food poisoning. Especially since I got the child's burger with only ketchup (normally at like McDonald's it takes a little bit longer because they special make it), but all our food came up super quick, which normally quick food is great, except when it's supposed to be "made your way" and comes up like it had been sitting there forever and they just scraped off whatever else was on it.. :( read more

This particular one is not managed well. I visit it often. more times then not my order is wrong. I have been in the habit to always check my order before I leave. I put with it because I like Burger King in general and I want to eat what I actually ordered. The quality of the food is okay, it would be a lot better if the staff had better training on consistent amounts of condiments and keeping the food fresher. Sanitation is lacking. It's pretty hard to screw up a Burger King unless the management lacks the skills to really manage a business. This location is in a growing Comercial area. On a Sunday afternoon this place should be packed. If they don't get it together, a Culver's or Five Guys will open up and and it will be downhill for this location. read more

First off the girl at the front desk wasn't enthusiastic at all that she had customers we interrupted her and her girlfriend just talking away, we were their only customers they could have some consideration for others we spent $17 on just 2 people and could've had a bigger and better meal at Cracker Barrel for the fraction of the cost plus would've received absolute better service and cleaner environment. Anyways, We got our food if you want to even call it that because all of it left the most disgusting taste in my mouth after every bite of french fry so needless to say I didn't eat but choked down 3 bites of each what i had because I was starving. The oil had to have been at least over a month old, if they do change it daily I'd be shocked and say there's just no hope except change brands of oil. Then the chicken sandwich it was the same thing the nasty after taste I thought I was literally going to get sick. Then there was the onion rings so gross doesn't even have onions in their rings. Now for the disgusting hamburger they put ketchup on there that was just dripping off the hamburger the sandwich was falling apart soggy getting ketchup all over the clothes on the floor and table. That was the most horrible experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. Used to be Burger King was one notch above all the rest of the fast foods not anymore. It's disgusting. They put allot of their money into the inside redecorating it but that's not where their money was well spent. No matter how nicely decorated the inside is it's the food that matters and theirs is hideous. Even with this new layout though it doesn't help them any as well because every table was dirty nowhere to sit so we finally found one who's to say if it was actually clean but we sat at the handicap table. Strange how 13 days ago somebody said the person at the front counter wasn't good at all. The one we had was probably one of the best customer service people I've ever seen work the counter.
