Indeed, this Jimmy John's is freaky fast. It's so freaky fast that I think I irritated the woman behind the counter with the amount of time I was looking at the menu. I was messing up her freaky fastness! I guess people who visit Jimmy John's usually have the menu committed to memory, or maybe they order online for pick up. In any case, if you go to Jimmy John's in person and are looking for the Little John's on the menu ... they are not on the menu. But they do exist, and you can get a Little John in any of the varieties that are offered for the Original sandwiches. There, I saved time for you and the person behind the counter. I actually kind of love the exasperated response from the lady behind the counter as I was asking her questions about Little Johns, because it shows her commitment to efficiency. You can't call your restaurant freaky fast and BE freaky fast if you indulge every slow-minded, indecisive Carmel yokel like myself. I clearly need to do better, and next time, I will -- I'll place an order online for pickup. That way I can examine all of the sandwich options at a glacial pace on my own time. Once I ordered my sandwiches, they were ready in just a couple of minutes. So fast! (One would even say ... freaky fast. OK, that's the last time I'm using that phrase, I promise.) My order was correct, the sandwiches tasted great, and everyone was happy. This location also has a drive-thru, and you can pick up your online order through the drive-thru, too.

John took our order. I think he was the ""John" of Jimmy John's. He was friendly and quick. I had the tuna on whole wheat. The sandwich was packed with creamy tuna salad, lettuce, tomato, perfect. Just like I like. These sandwiches are huge. I always say that I will save half, but they are so good that I eat the whole thing. My husband had the Vito toasted. He loved his sandwich and ate like he was in a trance. The dining room is typical Jimmy John's with a dozen small tables. We were able to find parking, which is a feat in this shopping center which is always packed. The drive thru does a robust business. I always have a good experience at JJs. They know how to do consistent service with tasty sandwiches.

Was not disappointed. Jimmy johns was easy to get my order. Let than a 4 min wait in the drive through. Got my sandwich and left. I ordered a Vito, which is the # 5. Bread was very fresh, sandwich was very tasty.

probably not a common occurrence but when i ordered a 6 inch sandwich, an employee intentionally chose to make it using a loaf that was not even the width of my wrist. it felt like i was just handed a thin breadstick with meat in it. i aas so taken aback that i forgot that i normally ordered a 6 inch, and ordered two. both were identically small. i feel as if i have been scammed for no reason. probably the worst experience i've had as of yet. didn't get the names of the workers. i have used my hand for reference in the photo attached.

Oh, just a fresh mouse turd on my bread.

In a panic I went back to the store as we had 16 people coming for dinner with the intention of buying the green beans. Sammy could not have been nicer and more helpful and cheerfully said, "Mistakes happen. You keep the baked beans and let us give you your green beans." He really saved the day for us as most of the kids present did not like baked beans. He said, "Have them try them, they'll like them", and they did! Incredibly disappointing…read more Moved out to Carmel recently and have driven past this place so many times. Decided today to give it a try and wow, that is a poor excuse for barbecue and poor value for the money. Most importantly is the food quality and I have to say the only thing that was good were the hush puppies. The pulled pork had zero flavor, the nonexistent brisket was overcooked and hard to eat and I saw them take the sausage out of some plastic bag and just heat it up. The mac & cheese was inedible, and the corn pudding had no flavor. Same thing for the Bread. Soggy without flavor. On top of that, check out the pathetic portion size for over for a +$30 meal. If you are looking for Barbeque, please go local and elsewhere This place should be shut down.

When we arrived, the place was empty. We weren't even sure that they were open until we saw the kitchen staff behind the line. Upon entering, I saw a kiosk where you can place your order, but a woman emerged from the back to take our orders. Being that we weren't familiar with the menu, I told her that the kiosk might be easier. She insisted that it wasn't, and as I went on, I realized the same. The kiosk states that there is a $1.25 charge for the sauce on the side, but she explained that it comes with one sauce free of charge and additional sauces cost extra. We placed our order with her: A small Italian salad to share, the Fatty B calzone with the spicy marinara sauce and the Hot Mother Clucker calzone with the chipotle garlic ranch. We ordered them with the suggested sauces but also order the regular marinara and the garlic sauces on the side. We were given glasses for water (self-serve from the soda fountain) and also ordered a bottled beer and canned cider. By the time we were done ordering, a line had formed. The store was understaffed, which was explained to us later, so we had to exercise patience. We didn't receive our beverages until after the calzones were delivered. Before that, we received our rather large, small salad. It was more than enough for two people. The woman had explained to us that it comes with 4 cups of lettuce plus the toppings. That information helped us make our decision to share. The space is large and we noticed cornhole boards to be used on the patio. Unfortunately, it was raining when we went, otherwise we would have played. The calzones were good and filling. Neither of us finished ours and had food to enjoy at home later that evening. The Hot Mother Clucker isn't very pizza-esque, but dipping it into marinara sort of brought it back into the fold. The suggested chipotle garlic ranch was a better pairing indeed. The salad bowl/plate is oddly shaped, which caused toppings to being spilling off the sides. When it was brought to our table, the woman tried saving the toppings by wedging them between the order slip and her fingers and dumping them back onto our plate. I stopped her. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I don't want to eat food that a stranger's hands have touched. I explained this to her. She tried to assure us that she washes her hands constantly throughout the day, but she'd just come over from the register without a handwashing break. Just let the toppings fall where they may! Let's keep it hygienic.

I was craving a sub, but in my rush to order before a work meeting, I mistakenly ordered a half sandwich. When I say sandwich, I mean meat and cheese between two slices of multi-grain bread...AND cut in half! I was so upset with myself. Not only did it not satisfy my craving, but the bread was slightly soggy. It was quite literally falling apart - maybe from the oil and vinegar if that was still included. So, I wound up taking the meat, cheese and banana peppers (it was a Grilled Italian) off of the bread and eating it with my fingers. Sans bread. The Sweet Tea and Fresh Cut Fries saved me that day. I love Penn Station subs, and it wasn't their fault that I ordered the incorrect sandwich, but it did leave me wondering why they even sell those types of sandwiches to begin with. I would like them removed from the menu! LBVS

But I needed something different, because the Greek food scene here just hasn't hit the same for me after growing up around Chicago and living on both the East and West Coast. This place was exactly the kind of spot I was hoping to find. First off, the owner is an older gentleman and he's awesome. I ordered, stood at the register waiting to pay, and when he came back he asked if I needed anything else. I told him, "I need to pay," and he just goes, "No, you pay after you eat. Don't worry about it." You don't find many places like that anymore. The gyro itself was packed to the absolute brim. Honestly, it could easily be two meals. The meat had great flavor, the pita was fresh and flaky, and everything worked perfectly with the tzatziki, feta, lettuce, and tomato. The place itself is simple when you walk in. Nothing flashy, nothing overdone. But between the owner, the regulars, and the overall feel of it, it almost feels like you're sitting in someone's home you grew up in. Comfortable, welcoming, and real. Definitely a must-try. The gyro gets a solid 8.1/10 from me.
