I ordered 3 large whopper meals and two of my fries were small. I wanted cheese and none of them had cheese. When I tried calling them about my order they didn't answer and I called 3 different times. Very disappointed with my order that I paid $70. read more

The food here is made the way you order and is usually decent. The staff is friendly but holy cow the wait is crazy. If you are the only car in the drive through you can get your food in about 15 minutes but if there are multiple cars in the drive through you will be stuck for a long time. I usually have to wait 4-5 minutes to get someone on the drive through speaker and then order. Then I pull to the window and it's usually 10-15 minutes and the same goes per car if there are others. Going to start eating somewhere else. Even mobile ordering doesn't save you time. read more

Tried to get breakfast here this morning. When I pulled into the left drive thru lane I heard noise come from the other lane. I waited for about a minute then said hello. I then then greated by yelling saying I already asked what you want. I will not go back here until this lady is gone. read more

Constant disappointment. You pull up to the drive thru menu. No cars in the parking lot. You're the only car in the drive thru and evey time the tell you to wait and if you didn't understand what they said through the silky speaker, they snap at you with a rude "I told I'll be with you in a minute!. WTH! I'm not you teenager! Then it will be over a minute (still only car around) before they get back to you. Plus that awful rude sign they had up for over a year about how lucky we were that someone was even there working. I ordered a bk melt and it took a good 7-10 minutes to get which is unusual for a bk restaurant. The bun was not buttered or grilled just a plain piece of circular white bread. The fires were also very old and cold enough that I'm sure they were overdue to be thrown out. read more

Let me preface by saying this place doesn't add up to premier burger joints and is being reviewed for what it is, a fast food establishment where you know what you're getting and what to expect. Most times I've come here, the wait and chaos has me not wanting to return for a long time. With limited options, I ventured back. Do not go here if you are hungry. Because you will wait for at least half an hour for your food. Don't get stuck in the drive-through if you have to pee. Because it will take you 30 minutes from start to finish. The old woman was very nice, but the blonde manager was absolutely horrendous. I don't eat fast food very often but I occasionally like a biscuit for breakfast. Twice in the past few months, I've ordered Burger King delivery but the driver got to BK only to find out they were out of biscuits. Both times, it was around 9am on a weekend morning. They offer a croissant instead, so your choice is to say no thanks and the driver gets nothing because of BK's lack of planning, or take the croissant instead. Like other fast food places in Windsor, service and food are sub-par so it's best to skip fast food here. read more

On my way home from a medical appointment, I stopped at the Windsor Burger King to get something to eat and drink today. I was thankful that the speaker at the drive through was clear and easy to hear. I was boisterously greeted, somewhat bruskly (I thought), placed my order and waited in line. When I arrived at the drive through, I had the dubious honor of meeting Ms. Congeniality face to face, not a very appetizing meeting. A heavy set, middle aged woman with maybe half of her teeth, brought me my drink. She returned SEVERAL minutes later and handed me my order. I asked if I could get several ketchup packets and opened my bag and extended it toward her, at which time she literally THREW the packets at the bag, most packets landed on the ground. I thanked her, although I sensed she was annoyed and not having a good day! When I got home I called the Windsor Burger King and was greeted, once again, by Ms. Congeniality,, rather bruskly. I asked if I could get contact information for the owner of this particular franchise. She claimed to have no idea, siting the franchise owner didn't want to be bothered and asked if she could help me. I simply said, "It's far too late for you to help me", at which point she abruptly hung up! I'm very much hoping that someone who gives a damn, will let the powers that be know what transpired today. The wait in the drive thru was insane... The restaurant wasn't even busy inside, I'm not sure what was going on. Once we finally got to the ordering screen, a little positive customer service would have gone a long way but the gal taking our order was neither friendly or helpful. Then we finally got to the pick up window and they didn't even have our order in the system!!! What I assume was a manager came to ask what we wanted so he could START cooking it. The old man taking my order was extremely rude, I said "I actually have a cou"at the window but before I could finish the word "coupon" he cut my off very abrasive and said "COUPON NUMBER" I told him my coupon numbers and he filled in the rest, he filled in a drink I hate and added no sauce.... His response "you didn't specify" ..... you right... you rushed me and didn't say anything along the lines of "what to drink?" Upselling is one thing, but the practices used by some of the staff here are deceptive! Trying to add things on your bill that they make seem like they come in a combo and then charging you for it. Then I get secretly charged and you decide to give a cold breakfast which would have been better hot. Terrible! read more

Got stuck in the drive thru for over 25 minutes on Friday ..no way to escape you are just stuck. When I finally got to the pickup window the lady asked me what I ordered because they were only making one meal at a time and it would take 3-4 minutes more to cook my food. i go to burger king probably way too often... the ones near me are decent, good maybe. I was on my way home from work and decided to run through the drive through bc i was so hungry and it's easy. Not only did they get to me right away, there were two cars ahead & I got out of there within 3 minutes of ordering. their process seems smooth & well put together. holding it to its "fast food" standards, i would say it is far above the rest when it comes to the burgers. it was flavorful & juicy & the cheese was melted enough, the bun was soft & squishy. would recommend coming to this burger king for a solid burger! read more

Avoid this Burger King! First my wife is told The Original Chicken Sandwich and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich are the same. She is then convinced to buy two for $6! We refer to this as "up selling". I get two of the "wrong" sandwiches. I made the mistake of trying it a second time. I went there one a Wed. Night. There might have been four customers total in the restaurant . I was very specific. I told the cashier I wanted two "fresh dropped" Original Chicken sandwiches. I sat down and watched the employee take the sandwiches from the pre-made warmer. I notified the manager who then instructed her to make them fresh. She took the out of the bin, and processed to re fry them!!!! The sandwiches were overcooked and awful. I then went to the web survey and gave a disastrous review. It took over two weeks for them to respond. They offered a free meal if I "tried them" again. I told her that was absurd and she offered pa refund. Pathetic. When the woman called she didn't even know the nature of my complaint. 1. They don't know how to take instruction. 2. They don't really respond to the surveys. 3. They don't really care!!! I guess is that's what they mean by "Have it OUR way"! The best way to deal with a bad restaurant ? Power of the purse! I was excited to see another fast food choice come to Windsor. I'll preface this post by saying that Burger King is pretty low on my list of preferred fast food restaurants. We were in a hurry and figured we'd give the new Windsor location a try. Ordering was quick and painless. Ordered two cheeseburgers and two Whopper Jr.'s with cheese. After what seemed like a ridiculously long wait for the car in front of us to get served, We got to the window and the gal read my order back. "You got the two cheeseburgers and two Whopper Jr's?", she said. I replied, "No, two cheeseburgers,one Whopper Jr with cheese." She mumbled something to herself and handed me the bag. I should have know to check the bag before heading home. We got home to find out we were served two cheeseburgers and two Whopper Jr's with no cheese. I was charged for 4 sandwiches and ordered 3 (although did receive 4 sandwiches). Not the biggest deal in the world. The food was edible but exactly how I remembered BK tasting, nothing special. I'll likely give the Windsor BK another chance but it is pretty much just like every other fast food place in town. The managers of these places just can't seem to run a tight ship. read more

I had Burger King today and it was one of the worst fast food restaurant experiences I've ever had. I received my four original chicken sandwiches, and when I opened one, there was mold on the bottom of the bun. I went back inside to report it, and one of the employees insisted that it was not mold. However, they did offer me a full refund of my transaction. I will not eat here again. read more

We just visited our new Windsor Burger King for the first time. Fish sandwiches. Hard as a rock, dry, flavorless, expensive ($11 for two sandwiches and one fry). Burger King has really gone downhill! This was our second trip there, we complained about how bad the experience was the first time and they told Us to come back and they would give us 3 free meals. So not much different from the 1st visit. The staff seemed inexperienced and unfriendly. Burger King claims to flame broil their burgers, but couldn't see where they cooked them? There were grill marks on only one side of the very thin and chewy patty. My guess is there are pre-cooked and shipped to the restaurant where they are placed in some type of warming ovens. It took them less than 5 minutes to throw three Whopper meals together and bring us our order to us... And they weren't very hot, but then again that could be because they keep it so cold in there (we sat with our coats on) that it cooled off the food very quickly. The soda in the machines is so carbonated, the soda tasted bad also. The manager never even checked on us to see how our visit and food was this time. Very disappointed and wonder why Windsor got Burger King back... They never even made it that long the very first time. Whoever owns this franchise in Windsor had better Make some major improvements, or this one won't make it either! I dont recommend Burger King, go to McDonalds, Taco Bell or Sonic if you want good fast food! read more
