    Chicken takki masala

First time coming here and it was amazing! I got the chicken tikka mascara and it was delicious! The service as above and beyond. They explained the menus and the dishes and made some suggestions. I also had the Lychee Lassi drink and it helped cut the spice nicely. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!

Checked out this kind of new restaurant in DeKalb. It isn't a typical burger restaurant because it has Indian flavors too. Burger Naan is like some kind of American and Indian fusion cuisine. Get food that looks a lot like fast food but is much better tasting and fresher. The prices aren't that bad and you still get a lot. Basically this is one of the few places in town to get Indian cuisine. It's more of a place for classic items like biryani and chana masala than it is burgers to be honest. There are a lot of fusion sandwiches though. Basically authentic flavors that are hand held. This is their idea of the street food style. It's about $7 for the Samosa Burger. This is like a burger except it has a samosa patty, and is topped with green chutney, lettuce, onions, tamarind sauce, and tomatoes. Add a few more bucks to make it a combo. This adds a drink and fries. For sure it's one of the few places around here to get Indian cuisine. It's pretty authentic Indian cuisine as well as far as flavors. There's burgers as well as plenty of things for vegans and vegetarians.

I ordered a butter chicken with two regular naans to go. The staff are so nice and the serving was so fast. The butter chicken tasted ok, but was too sweet compared to other restaurants that I've tried. Might be a good option for fast to-go Indian food.

Wow! Everything we had here was amazing. It is a walk up counter where you can order and owners and staff were all amazing. I was with my family of 3 and we couldn't decide, so we each got to choose an item as we planned all sharing it family style anyways and we were blown away. The portions are nice, the flavors definitely met my standards. It was filled with herbs, spices, tartness, saltiness and sweetness. I ate the garlic Naan with everything. It wasn't busy when we arrived, but it's a smaller restaurant with plenty of seating. Well maintained, clean and nice ambiance that played great music in the background. There's so many other items on the menu that we would like to try. We will probably be in the area more often and will plan on returning to try others. Great addition to the Dekalb area!

I've been wanting to try Burger Naan since it opened, and I'm so glad I finally got it tonight. Burger Naan is an Indian fusion restaurant specializing in classic Indian dishes like butter chicken and tikka masala and fusion foods like the tandoori chicken sandwich and gyro naan. Tonight, we got the poutine, butter chicken sandwich, and beef seekh kabob. We also tried the strawberry bubble drink and mango lassi. Poutine: 7/10 crispy fries, rich gravy, and cheese curds. The poutine was pretty good, but I would skip this next time to try the butter chicken mac and cheese or wings. Butter chicken sandwich: 8/10 really crispy chicken, delicious sauce, soft and soft bun. I wish that the chicken was a bit thicker and there was a stronger butter chicken flavor, but good overall. Beef seekh kabob: 8/10 the flavor of the beef and rice was delicious, but it was all slightly dry. The sauce served on the side definitely helped though. On top of the great food, they also have EXCELLENT service. The owner took our order and was so kind and patient. While we were eating a family came in and we heard him explain every dish on the menu to them. A little bit after, another customer came in and asked if they had non dairy options for their bubble drinks. The owner said they didn't but asked what she preferred so he could keep it in the restaurant for her the next time she came in. The owner and his family are so kind, and I can't wait to come back to try some of the other menu options.

It is newly open in Dekalb. Next to the Egyptian theater it was a big fuss at first because we all needed Indian fusion with American all in one places. I had the butter chicken it was ok but not what I expected the sauce had no taste pretty bland. I order the beef kabobs the rice or try dry but plenty of it. What I truly enjoy is as t h chicken wings it was the best I ever had. The fusion flavor was like barbecue tangy truly very delicious I give them 10 stars for it I will return to try the huge naan burgers Come and try this new restaurant It was very delicious

    Chicken Tikka Masala

The owner is incredibly kind and explains his menu very clearly, all the staff is so nice as well. They have a cute lobby with a calming atmosphere. I got the chicken tikka masala with rice and garlic naan and a mango lassi. Soooo delicious I love it. I couldn't decide what to order but I'm happy I went with this. def coming back. such a vibe

Chana Masala w/ Garlic Naan, Rose Milk Lassi w/ Fruit Jellies

I wanted to like this place because I love Indian food and for the sake of the people of Dekalb I want there to be good Indian food here. This was close but not quite it... I got the chana masala with garlic naan. I think it would be more accurate to call the chana masala "chana butter masala". I guess it may be technically correct to call their version just "chana masala" (I mean, it had chana and masala) but every dish with this name that I've ever tried has been chickpeas in a tangy tomato-based gravy with little to no cream. Theirs came swimming in the same creamy sauce used for butter chicken or butter paneer. The etymology is not my actual issue with the dish - it may not have been what I was expecting, but for what it was, it had the right flavours, and I love saucy curries. It just had way too much butter! I know it's common to drizzle a little butter/ghee over the gravy to finish, but this was like spoonfuls of butter plopped onto this dish - the resulting layer on top was thick enough that until I mixed it together, when I tried to dip my naan in the gravy, it just came out with butter. I really thought I had eaten Indian food that was too oily before, but this was another level. It would've been so good if they didn't saturate it with butter! Garlic naan (one portion is actually 2 smallish pieces) was very good. Pillowy and soft with a little char and lots of fresh garlic (not overkill, though) and cilantro, not too buttery... no complaints. The rose milk lassi was fine, but it was another case where the name was misleading. I don't think this was actually a yogurt-based lassi, just flavoured milk. I didn't care for the artificial bright pink colour, but the taste was like any standard rose-flavoured milk. The fruit jellies were actually very good and had a tropical taste that complemented the rose well. The owners were very nice and I got the sense that they are passionate about the business. The atmosphere was cozy, but using a plastic takeout container for the curry detracts from that homey feeling. There were things about the food I liked, but I just wouldn't order a curry here again if they don't cut back on the butter. If you order here, maybe you could request no extra butter added?

I have to start off by saying I loved everything about this place! The very hospitable owner and head chef greeted me at the counter and explained his four different, creative menus which were all filled with delicious items! I ended up getting the butter chicken burrito, which was flavorful and unique, something I've never seen before! I ordered a side of fried mushrooms as well and it was very tasty. The next time I'm in town I'll definitely try their other items

It was full of cardamom and saffron flavor and topped with whipped cream. Chole kulcha & bhatura is a must-try!! The bhatura was not oily, which was surprising, and the kulcha was so soft. The chole gravy was delicious, and the pickle paired really well with the combo. The chaat items weren't great. Dahi bhalla felt dry and didn't absorb the flavors of the chaat. Papadi chaat was oily, which was a turn-off. Malai chaap was great. The soy was tender and had a smoky flavor. The malai gravy was really yummy and paired super well with the chaap. For entrées, we had the Veg Hyderabadi, which was a spinach-based gravy. All the veggies were tender and absorbed the flavors of the spices. Paneer labandar was super yummy. The gravy was flavorful and mildly spicy, and the paneer was tender. Daal makhani was really great--perfectly creamy and spicy with amazing flavor. I was super excited to try the rumali roti, but it was a bit disappointing. It wasn't soft and had a LOT of butter. The garlic naan, however, was super soft and yummy. We ended the dinner with rasmalai, which was super yummy and loaded with dry fruits. Moong daal halwa tasted very comforting on this cold evening. The servers were very helpful, and the service was quick! Would definitely be back here specifically for the chole kulcha!

The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing; there are very big windows on the side and you can look out at the sky while you are eating. The samosas are almost as good as Mummie's, absolutely bursting with flavour and spice. The Hyderabadi chicken is a treasure. Oh, my god. It's so good. I can't stop eating it. The Chicken Biryani is wonderful, as is the Vegetable Masala. Oh, my goodness! There is also a buffet Tuesdays through Fridays which is terrific; there are lots of dishes and you can try them all.
