This place rocks a good burger.. Anytime I come to Wichita I drive down here to Winfield for a double cheeseburger.. It is so worth the drive.. Trust Me!! Call Ahead.. They do ask that you call ahead first as the place is very small and it makes it so much easier.. It's worth it.. The Staff and Owners are super friendly and are what old school service is about.. Seating is very limited outside, there are two really nice parks near by to enjoy the burgers.. I always order the double cheeseburger with everything and fries with a coke.. I am southern california and it's 100 X better than any in n out burger.. Thank You Burger Station For Another great visit.. I will be back next time I am in town.. read more

The burgers are above average very tasty Fries were crispy. Nice and hot Order by phone is the only way to order but couldn't get through so the gentleman came out very apologetic and friendly. He took our order very customer service oriented! He even helped carry our food out (outside seating only) It was 100 degrees so we drank all of our water (3of us) The lady yelled at us to get out!! One customer at a time!!! I said I just wanted a refill on my water She replied get out!!! we don't do refills!!!!! This was, without question, the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The woman working there (appeared to be in her 60s) was shockingly rude from start to finish. I didn't realize orders had to be called in, so I stepped outside to do that. When it suddenly began pouring rain, I briefly went back inside--where it wasn't busy--only to be told to go back out into the storm. It didn't stop there. Before leaving, I quickly checked our burgers to make sure the order was correct (something any reasonable customer does before driving off). She confronted me with, "What are you doing?" I explained I was just checking the food, and she responded, "Well, that's rude." At that point, I was genuinely upset and told her I had never been treated this way before. Her response? A dismissive, "Bye-bye, honey. Goodbye." Completely unprofessional and unnecessarily hostile. The only redeeming part of the experience was the man working the grill--he was kind and respectful. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for everything else. To top it off, the cheeseburgers are overpriced, and honestly, you'd get better quality and service at McDonald's. What a great find on a trip to watch some local baseball. Flavorful burger with add on of jalapeno and bacon. Crispy bacon is a score. Hot fries with a large drink for a very reasonable price. Very rude family. They don't get your orders correct and get mad at you for their mistake. They also refuse to fix their mistake or refund you. They have no issue with yelling and cussing at their customers. The food isn't even that great anymore... more grease than meat and cold fries. I was very excited to try The Burger Station. I have heard about it for a couple of years. The reviews looked great. Maybe I should have payed more attention to the often used word, "basic" in the reviews. The people were nice. My order was correct. The food was hot. I'm reaching for something else positive... Cheap Wonder Bread style bun. I couldn't taste the meat. The grilled onions that come standard on a burger are very thin and stringy. Tomatoes and lettuce are not available. The fries resembled McDonald's, but they weren't as good. I would have expected fresh cut style fries here but it looks like they settled for a commercially prepared variety. Ho hum. When I want a change from Sonic I go here & remember why it's not often. They are just okay, not overly great and not terrible. They are a thin burger. A burger and fry cost about the same if not more than a fast food combo. They come with fried onions, pickles and mustard, literally all. Smashed buns and limp fries. I suppose the history does it for some people but I could care less. Once or twice a year does it for me. I don't crave mediocre food. read more
