Came from longview and with a friend out for the day, we stopped in at about 11, snagged 2 stools at the bar and im here to tell ya, best dang burger ive put in my mouth, we got fries too but it will easily feed 3 people.burgerland is definately not chincy on their meat, will definately go back again! The restaurant is small with maybe 15 stools around the bar, they had some outside tables too. Well worth it! read more

I have been going to this restaurant for almost two years, and have never had a bad experience! I should try more of the menu, but I have been sticking with the patty melt, fries and sweet tea almost every time. Stopped here today for a burger. The place is small and the indoor seating is the old fashion soda bar style. It will seat about twenty people, if you chose to sit inside along the bar with other folks, you will be elbow to elbow with them, and the bar was packed. They also offer outdoor seating as well. Truly outstanding burger joint. My wife ordered a single patty hamburger, I got a double cheeseburger, and we shared a large fry. The server told us that a small would feed 2-3 people, and we should have done that. Burgers were fresh and hot and huge. Delicious. The fries stole the show though. 10/10 would recommend. The atmosphere is quaint and welcoming. Everyone that works there is very nice, and all of the other patrons seemed to be very friendly as well. Could not recommend this place more! read more

This is a little spot on the side of the road that you will want to stop at. Trust me. Literally one of the best burgers I've had in forever. There's limited seating inside but cold weather doesn't keep people from coming for a burger and sitting at the outside picnic benches. Fries are huge - a large order was more than our 3 adults could share. Burgers are juicy and you can customize as you like. I had just plain cheese with all the normal vegetables (tomato, diced onion and dill slices), plus you can choose mustard, Mayo and/or ketchup. My husband had grilled onions and jalapeños. Yum! My father in law added bacon. All were delicious. We'll be coming back and trying more things on the menu! read more

Stopped through from Missouri back through to Austin and we were looking for a place to lunch that was not McTaco King, and found Burgerland, 5-Stars and 160+ reviews and knew we couldn't pass this up. This place deserves all the praise more! The staff was polite and efficient. Every person working knew their job to do and was doing it, I don't know if I've ever seen a workplace where everything ran so smoothly. The burgers are made right in front of you so there's no question of how long it takes because you can quite literally see it being cooked to perfection. The burgers are large, toasted and absolutely delicious! The fries are fantastic and generously portioned! So I had work in Paris and once I finished up I started planning my late lunch break before driving back to Dallas. As I perused Yelp one of the local employees asked me offhandedly where I was planning on stopping. I mentioned that there was a well reviewed burger place, and... "Burgerland!?" Three different voices all said the name in unison. "I think so..." I stammered. They all looked at each other and their own lunch plans suddenly began to change. I knew from experience that a beloved local restaurant with a rich history that is still spoken about with reverence was the right choice. And it was. I went inside because the heat index was 103 that day, and ordered from one of the nice young girls at the counter. Plenty of folks eating inside at the counter, and they have a little drive thru window as well. I ordered a double meat burger with cheese, a small fry, and a drink ($12.99). There was a bit of a wait (15 minutes), but I sat at the counter, drank my root beer, and watched the staff work. You can watch every step of the lunch rush production. The environment was pleasant and the whole experience was lovely - lots of local folks in and out. I got my food to go as I had to make the drive back to Dallas. I sat in the parking lot for a minute to let AC cool the car down and decided to grab a few fries (hand cut and perfectly seasoned). The pile of fries that makes up a small is massive - so much so that they offer a half size (but my mama didn't raise no quitters so I got the whole one). You can imagine how big it is, but you still won't believe it. The burger was fresh, juicy, and delicious. Right on the edge of over-seasoned without stepping over that line. Impossible to eat any other way but seated with an eye on the prize. A meal so large I had to split it in half and eat the rest once I got back to the hotel (and I assure you that never ever happens to me). Just as good several hours later as when I walked out their front door. Hard to complain about anything - maybe another minute for the fries in the oil to crisp them up but that's being nit picky. I loved their soggy-crisp texture. I have work in Paris in the future - and I have burgers to eat at Burgerland in that future. read more

While this place is definitely what I would call a "hole in the wall," it was absolutely charming, clean, friendly, and delicious! Seating inside is a little bit limited and our server was stretched a little bit thin so initially, the service was on the slow side, but overall, we had a fantastic experience. I ordered the Red's Hot Steak and The chili sheesh fries. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. Absolutely no concerns, only praise in regard to the food.
