My girlfriend and I were traveling through and found this place before we left. We heard about it from friends even before we left. We got there at noon so was already busy but found a table open outside. This inside has seating like a diner. A few picnic tables outside. The staff is very friendly and took our order quickly. Simple menu which makes choosing easier. Hint....split the fries they are a big order. I ordered the patty melt and she had the cheeseburger. We split an order of cheese fries. OMG!!!! That patty melt was amazing!!!! The flavor was better than anything I can describe. The cheese fries unbelievable. This place is a true dive but also diner atmosphere. Oh BurgerLand I'm finding it tough to put into words what you mean to me. On a road trip to Broken Bow from Fort Worth with my good pal Taylor Brown. Brownie could not stop raving about this burger joint in little Paris, Texas. In fact we spent the better part of the 2 hour drive reading reviews on this spot, I now call mouth heaven. I thought to myself, "how could it be that good? How could the worlds best burger reside in such a remote part of the country?" Ol Taylor Brown you must be overhyping this. As we pulled in the place was full and the spirits were high. The smell itself was worth the trip. I placed my order with a beautiful waitress who was eager to serve our empty tummies. We watched the cook work his spatula as a wizard uses his wand because what he was doing was pure magic. Finally the burger arrived. The first bite was euphoric. Every thing Brown had said was a lie.. that burger was everything and so much more. Every bite I took was a gentle reminder that in fact, there was still good in this dark world. I was high, I was high on burger and burger alone. Joy, pure joy was running through my veins. I was so happy, until.. until I wasn't. The burger was gone and I was suddenly filled with deep sadness. This sadness will remain with me until one day I find my way back to this glorious establishment we now know as, Burger Land. PS: I love you. read more

I stopped in today for my first time. The bun was slightly toasted giving a nice char to match the tender burger. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever eaten anywhere! As hundreds have stated the hand cut fries come in a mountain order a small for 2. Fantastic seasoning and taste. The staff working was extremely welcoming and friendly. Food is great but if you eat inside and the air conditioner is on, it blows really cold air right down on you and your food. It chills you and cools off your food before you can get done. Burgerland is the king of burgers and fries. You seem to be waiting for some geographical limit to that statement. Well you won't find one because this is the best burger you can find. I eat a lot of burgers. Burgers in France, New York, Auburn AL, Nacogdoches TX, Las Vegas, Houston, Chicago... get the point? What I have found is there are burgers and fries that come close to being as good, but none are equivalent or better. Why? No idea. But there are rules. Don't be a jerk on seating. It is an 'L' shaped bar with limited seating. Wait patiently or go away. Feel free to order your food before finding a seat, but don't stare and rush people. Don't sit on your seat picking your teeth for fifteen minutes after you finish. Don't ask for food not on the menu. Expect to wait the same amount of time in the drive thru as inside if you don't order ahead. Final comment, if it is your first visit, don't write your name over someone else's on the wall. That's just poor manners. If you see me there hunched over a book, feel free to interrupt me, that's awesome. read more

We stopped here after a long day of traveling thru small town Texas. I ordered a double cheeseburger, a BLT, and an order of fries. The order of fries was huge, must have been at least two pounds of potatoes. The sandwiches were both excellent. We ate at the tables outside, and were checked on two times by the owner or manager, and another time by one of the workers. Our order was prepared a bit slow, the owner gave us free drinks. Such nice people, there is a large "L" shaped bar inside, would be nice to eat there after Covid 19, but everyone is very close. The long leg of the "L" offers a great view of the grill. read more

Greasiest nastiest fries I've ever had, but they give you a ton to try and make up for taste I guess. Hamburger was salty and grease dripping off it, just gross. We'd heard great things about this place but 1) it's a fire hazard waiting to happen, not sure how it passes inspection 2) awkward ordering bc they do NOT come ask you, you just push your way thru to the bar to order 3) waitresses obviously rely on tips and I get that BUT they are pushy and rude and expect big tips for minimal effort 4) quantity doesn't make up for quality!!! 5) did I mention there is NO WAY this can pass any kind of capacity inspection and the only customer way out creates a fatal funnel in case of ever an emergency. We showed up for lunch today after the TX-OK Trump Parade. There were A LOT of us. Avery (not sure of correct spelling) did an amazing job. We wouldn't sit down but she still kept track of all us for taking and delivering orders. The hamburgers were delicious and the fries were awesome. If you are interested in a small order of fries take at least 3-4 friends with you to even attempt eating all of them. The serving size is enormous. read more
