Once upon a time, I had major hip problems- it was so bad I could barely walk some days. Coach Kyle and the SLNH team not only got my hip back in shape, but I'm healthier and stronger than ever before. Coach Kyle's nutrition guidance (and general lifestyle guidance) got me back on a healthy track. I LOVE the customized programs, and even though there are other folks in the gym at the same time as me, I never feel awkward or pressured, only encouraged. The gym has changing rooms, a shower on site, and is super clean. Coach Kyle's dog Roma is always there to greet you with a wagging tail :). I work out with athletes from a variety of sports, people recovering from surgeries, young adults, fitness nuts, the average Joe, etc.- and they have all become like family. Can't recommend Strength Lab enough!

The studio is small, very clean, and pleasant. Christina was welcoming and not judgemental. She takes the time to make sure your form is safe and correct. It is also refreshing that she plays a variety of music at a reasonable level and does not just blast techno while she yells at us like some other fitness places. I would recommend.

Not to mention 3B workouts are completely custom and different week to week, and I've reached every fitness goal I've set thus far! The best part of 3B is the versatility in where I train - I have a busy work schedule that changes weekly, so I'm able to train at 3B's Chester location when I can, Brad has come to my home with equipment when I can't go to him, and he's even gone so far as to drop off equipment and a workout plan to take with me on a weekend trip to Boston! 10/10 recommend training at 3B Fitness!!

I constantly had to reach out with issues or from frustration with not getting the benefits offered. They do not weigh you each week or weigh/measure you each month unless you arrive early/stay late and request it. It's never even discussed in classes. The nutrition plan was never received after months of requesting (in fact I never received despite paying for it as part of my membership). I received excuse after excuse. If this happened to just me I would consider it a glitch but my friend who also signed up had all of the same issues. The classes itself were fun but having 2 instructors seemed useless. One was always barely helping or the workouts were so quick that there wasn't enough time to correct form/help. For HITT the moves should be simple so form can be clean and prevent injury but some moves were so complicated that even after 3 rounds people weren't getting it right. The "spa" is definitely not as shown online either and are only a benefit for the members paying the highest membership tier which is surprising since the room is run down and outdated and I never saw used. Overall I was so disappointed and would not recommend this gym to anyone.

The owner Jason is a military vet and was super kind. He even gave me a military discount since I'm an Army Vet which was nice. The gym has everything you need from a small boxing area, trx/crossfit area and of course your traditional cardio machines and weight lifting equipment. It's really a great atmosphere to get an amazing working out in. I enjoy coming here because it doesn't get packed in the AM like other gyms and the best part is if you have any questions the staff is alway there to help you and point you in the right direct. If the owner Jason is there he will even come spot you which I've seen him do a numerous of times to different individuals working out. There's also lots of parking, so if your'e around the Hudson area of NH be sure to give AMC a visit if you're looking for a gym.

I've been going to AFC for nine months now and love it. My favorite thing about this gym is the…read moreatmosphere. Besides being clean and well-maintained, it really feels like a community gym. It's unpretentious. As someone who is curvy and wanted to go to the gym to improve my physique, I was initially very nervous about people staring at me or judging me for using the weights. I've gone to other, bigger gyms like PF and I always felt like everyone was looking down on me, and worse, I was fighting for equipment. Not at AFC. Everyone here is going to the gym to work on themselves, whatever that means for them. While of course you have many physically fit people here, there are also people of all ages, sizes, races, men, women, etc, each sharing a common purpose. I've never had a problem snagging equipment I needed or felt like I was in anyone's way. In fact, trainers and members alike have told me they've seen great improvement in me, which makes me feel so great. That's the benefit of a smaller gym - the people there remember you and root for you. I also love the boxing class. It's really popular here! I had never done boxing before and fell in love. It makes me feel powerful. Strong. And, best of all, disguises the workouts a bit! It's so much easier to work out when you're concentrating on pads and bags, and I end up burning 400-500 calories a session. Jason, and all the trainers, pay attention to your moves and help you improve your form. The classes are smaller too, usually around 10 people, so you can ask any questions you want and the trainers can pay attention to your form. If you're a nervous first-time gym goer like I was, or if you just moved here and are looking for a clean, community gym, this is the place.

It was gentle yoga, but had opportunities for people to stretch their bodies even further if they so wished without making the rest of us feel like we were falling behind. The space itself is beautiful - from the sunny front room where you can peacefully wait for classes to begin (with its rotating art collection!) to the equipment (blankets, blocks, straps, etc.) that was all in really good shape. Professor Jimmy not only responded quickly but personally-which is a rarity. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be teaching the class I was able to make but he let the instructor teaching know I'd be there. It's hard walking into a new place, even harder when everyone else knows each other so I was pleasantly surprised when Coach Dasha, called me by name, set me up with a waiver form and even let me use a school's uniform. They're just as technical as they are friendly and I liked that the warm up was related to what we were learning. I was lucky enough to get partnered with one of their resident black belts who not only had some moves but was willing to help me learn what he did. Super welcoming, loved the class structure and everyone there rolled hard but were still so easygoing.
