The instructors are truly phenomenal and were the very reason we signed up in the first place. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable in martial arts, but they are also relatable, friendly, and genuinely supportive--both to their students and to us parents. They have an amazing ability to help kids find their courage and inner strength, encouraging them to show up and tackle hard things with confidence--all while making it look effortless and fun. The growth we've seen in our son's confidence over the years has been remarkable, and we fully credit the positive, empowering atmosphere created by this dojo. We are so grateful to be part of this community.

A huge thank you to the entire Changs Taekwondo America family. I am very impressed with how the…read moreGrandmaster, Masters and Instructors have inspired my son and fostered his love of martial arts. He is a shy kid and through this program, his self-confidence has grown immensely and I know that is in part due to the way they run the school and the values they instill. In addition to learning Taekwondo, Changs teaches children how to take responsibility for themselves, their schoolwork and chores; Have respect for parents, teachers, themselves and others; How to deal with bullying in various situations. They also incorporate public speaking into their classes - A valuable skill that is quite often lost these days with digital communications! My son started when he was 4 years old and is now 7. His goal is to become a blackbelt and to assist in classes, helping others to learn Taekwondo. To have a young child establish such clear goals when it comes to anything and work hard to achieve them makes me one proud Mama. Their adult program is equally as fantastic! Gets you moving, teaches valuable self defense techniques and challenges you to take care of yourself, act on goals/follow through. The schedule is very accommodating/flexible for working parents. The value of training with your child is huge. It has brought my son and I even closer than we already were. We are able to share, push and encourage each other. An amazing feeling. I highly recommend Chang's Taekwondo America to anyone looking to instill great values in their children and themselves.

Our daughter absolutely LOVES Dojo Sante. I cannot say enough good things about it. I would without…read morereservation recommend DOJO SANTE to anyone. When we decided to enroll our daughter in karate we went to visit many of the local karate schools so that we could see how they operate, the class size, cleanliness, and overall feel. We liked Dojo Sante the best overall. Our daughter also picked Dojo Sante on her own too, and said she felt the most comfortable there. What we found was the class size at Dojo Sante was smaller, the kids get a lot of individual attention, and they are great motivators. The karate instructors know all of the kids names, and they really want to see them do well. They teach the kids to be respectful, stay focused, and to be grateful. The way they run the class, plus the small class size, leads to a great group of kids that all know each other and take the sport seriously. Our daughter loves it there, and she loves all the friends that she has made. Sensei Matt, also hosts special "parents night out" parties and events for the kids around holidays. We would highly recommend these too. Its worth noting that top to bottom the place is super clean. Our daughter has blossomed since enrolling, she has grown in her confidence, and able to focus. Overall Dojo Sante is just the type of karate school that we were looking for, and we look forward to seeing you there!

My six year old son has been studying at Dojo Sante Martial Arts for about 10 months now and…read moreoverall the experience has been amazing. I'm truly awed by how much he has gotten out of studying at Dojo Sante, particularly around leadership, helping others, mindfulness and gratitude. Additionally, the confidence he has gained from knowing how to defend himself in tough situations is invaluable. On the Dojo Sante website under the "Our Promise" section it states that they "strive to teach each class as if it were the most important class that we will ever teach" and this (along with rest of the promise) is true and fulfilled by the instructors. The owner/primary instructor (Sensei Matt) has a gift for working with kids and with his type of charisma should be hosting a kids show. Along those lines he does do a weekly "Sensei Sunday" video post on Facebook where he'll talk about a topic (being prepared, showing gratitude, etc.) and then discuss it with the students during class to reinforce the concepts. Then while classes are in session I especially admire how he takes the time to call out each student for something positive and work with them individually, while also managing the class as a whole. Along with Sensei Matt are a few other instructors who are also awesome at working with the students and provide excellent leadership while helping the students develop their skills. Additionally sometimes students from his leadership club will assist with classes, which is an awesome teaching method for both my son and the student from the leadership club. In addition to regular classes there are many special events throughout the year at the Dojo such as hosting drop off the kid/date night, summer camps and lots of other cool things. The facilities are nice, clean, well taken care of and have an overall good feel. Overall I highly recommend Dojo Sante, well worth checking out.
