I can't say enough AMAZING things about Franklin Farm KinderCare. My son went there from 8 weeks to 2 years old (And the ONLY reason we don't go anymore is because we moved too far away *sad*). It's been about 4 months (long overdue review, yes), but I had to jump on write a review because I was reading a book to my son just now and when it came to spotting friends and children, he said all of his friends names and teachers from Franklin Farm. He still remembers them and I keep thinking, of course he would. They are PHENOMENAL! Above all else, they CARE. Genuine, authentic concern and pride for each child at the facility. They're in front ready to greet you, they come out to say hi when you show up, and they share so much through the app that you feel like you are with your kid all the time. They are so dedicated and passionate to their work and to our kids. Amie Maravich (the Director) is SO sweet and GREAT and creates a facility that is warm, inviting, casual and laidback that makes you feel comfortable and trusted. And to the teachers that had such pivotal roles in my son's department, Ms. Afshan and Ms. Sasha...you are SO missed. You are so invaluable and I wish we could clone you. Franklin Farm KinderCare will always be a part of our family - it was the stepping stone to my son's growth and development and if we are EVER back in that area, we will go back 1000%. read more

The KinderCare Franklin Farm Campus team is amazing! As a military family, we have experienced many childcare facilities and this place is exceptional. I knew from my first phone call where the Assistant Director, Dominique, listened (really listened) to understand our kids' needs that this would be a special place. And because of the time he spent with me and his past experience and education, he placed them with the perfect teachers where they are now thriving! Site Director, Sasha, ensures every t is crossed, every i dotted. Her attention to detail, commitment to safety/following guidelines, and love for my kids is incredibly comforting especially in the COVID-19 environment. Plus, she can redirect my son like no one I've ever seen (including myself!). Executive Director, Kurtis, along with his team, have been a phenomenal support during the upcoming school year and all the unknowns for virtual learning. His focus from the beginning has been on how our kids can become their best selves. If you are reading this review in search of an extended family to care for your little one(s), I hope you choose the Franklin Farm KinderCare and are able to experience all their wonderful teachers and staff, especially their T-K teacher, Sosan! She's incredible and I would need to write another review to even begin to describe how special she is to our son. read more

COVID-19 hit and daycares started closing just as I was about to go back to work from maternity leave. Our original daycare was closed with no reopening plan, so we scrambled to find an open daycare with an open infant slot. Franklin Farm Campus KinderCare was awesome from the start. Since we couldn't visit in person, Ms. Amie gave us a tour via FaceTime. She regularly communicated with us and answered all our questions promptly. With so much uncertainty, Ms. Amie, Ms. Cait, and the rest of the staff have been incredibly flexible and responsive to anything we need to include alternating weeks between full days and partial days. I can tell when I drop-off/pick-up that the staff truly care about what they do, love interacting with the parents, and want what's best for each family. From the limited interactions I have with the teachers due to COVID-19 precautions, I can tell they love their job and the children they take care of each day. We love being able to get real-time updates with pictures to see our 7-month old son during the day. He really seems to enjoy "going to school" and we couldn't ask for a better experience with daycare in such a crazy and unprecedented time! read more

Since we started going to Kindercare in Franklin Farm, the staff has cultivated such an amazing and safe place for my kids to grow, learn, enjoy, and just be kids.  The KinderCare staff is so friendly, amicable and supportive of the kids.  I am always in awe of how many staff work there, yet every single one of them know both of my kids (my kids are in KidsKlub and TK), their quirks, what they like, and just who they are as little humans.  Between the bus driving, the clean facilities, managing covid, managing the fun events, having food ready for them, and even sending updates on the app - the FF KinderCare team is really amazing.  I will admit, I was skeptical sending my kids to KinderCare at first - ONLY because last year we had come from a small community and a small school and big changes awaited us in Herndon - big school, big city.  I was nervous.  Now, that the kids are in it and really thriving, I couldn't be more pleased with KinderCare and am so thankful for the staff.  My kids come home happy every day, and for that I couldn't be more grateful. read more

My kids have only been here for about 3 months. The main reason we left the other place was we needed after care for my son who was starting Kindergarten and we did not get into SACC. I was a bit worried as we had been at the other center for many years and since my daughter was a baby. I will say that I have been very happy with the curriculum which was very important for me. My daughter who is 3.5 already understands the concept of counting to 100 and the pattern that occurs. I honestly don't think she would have learned that at the previous school. The center does a lot of events for the school such as a end of summer party, a fall festival, etc. which I also really like for the kids. They also will periodically take pictures of the kids during the day and send it over so you can see how they are doing. They send center wide news weekly which is nice to stay informed. I really like the teachers at the center, they are warm and truly take the time to answer any questions you may have. read more

I was terrified of putting my son in daycare, which is why he didn't go until he was almost 21 months. But we knew he needed the socialization that being home with a nanny just couldn't give him. Sending him to KinderCare was the BEST thing we have done. He has only been going a little over a month but we have seen such an amazing change in him. He is making friends and learning things we couldn't teach him at home. The teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful. It feels like a family being there. They all know my son, even if they don't work with him one-on-one. They are great at really understanding and individualizing the needs of the kids and the parents. It's clean and organized. They even did a fun spirit week where the kids dressed up for each day (sports day, mismatch day, pajama day, etc). We get pictures and updates via the app throughout his day so I can see what he is doing all day long. I would definitely recommend this KinderCare! read more

We chose this Kindercare last March when the pandemic shut down our other daycare, this Center was welcoming and offered Essential Worker childcare when we needed it most. I'm so thankful to have found this Center for my 2 boys, they have thrived and grown in the year we have been here. A special thanks to the many wonderful teachers who have taught my boys so much. Ms. Haifa, Ms. Souzan, Ms. Carolina, Ms. Marian, and Ms. Danielle are amazing, patient, and caring with my boys. They love to teach and spend quality time with them. I would highly recommend the Phonics class, my 4 and 5 year old are reading, spelling their names, and more. So grateful for the quality care given each day by the Kindercare team. Our child has been attending this KinderCare for the past several months and we're beyond pleased with the staff and the curriculum. We have noticed a marked change in our child's academic growth and his emotional state - every day, he is excited about going to school and loves his teachers. The classrooms and general areas are clean, the teachers are engaged and really communicative, and the staff always has fun activities for the children as well as the parents. There is a real effort to connect the center with families, and the positive energy at this center keeps us coming back every day. We wouldn't think about going anywhere else! read more

They have been a life saver through this global crisis with Coronavirus. They are taking all the health precautions to make sure children, staff, and families are safe. My son currently attends KinderCare daycare. We are very happy with our experience so far. The director Mr. Kurtis is very communicative with us. He has been helping us with getting our son engage more in class and with other children. He and the teachers have also offered good suggestions that we can use at home. My son is happy and more active at this daycare. He seems to enjoy going to the daycare in the mornings as well. read more

I moved my son here couple months ago and i love it. He has many food allergies and bad eczema and the staff have been so helpful. They always keep me informed on how he is doing and always send weekly parent emails with all the event going on. He loves his teacher which makes it easier on me when i drop off knowing he feels comfortable. The center is also very clean and i love how every age group had its own private room. read more

My daughter has been attending KinderCare for the past two years, since she was 2 yrs old, and the education program here is great: every month I see a difference in her advancement, i.e. more vocabulary, better math skills, more general knowledge. We have been going to the Franklin Farm Kindercare for two years now and could not be more pleased. Our son (and now daughter) is so well cared for and I never worry while he's there. They have a curriculum that they follow for each age group and endless fun activities. Our kids love the teachers at this school, running up to them each morning to give them hugs! The teachers and staff are wonderful and are quick to respond to any questions and suggestions we have. Location is very convenient. They offer a "Parent's night out" once a month where we don't have to pick them up until 9:30, so it is nice to have a date night for a change. read more

Franklin Farm Kindercare has been an incredible place for my 5-year-old. The staff is nurturing, the environment is safe, and he's learned so much while having fun. When I first toured KinderCare in 2015, I knew right away that was the best fit for my children. The facility has great learning environment for children and the directors and teachers are amazing.
