I ordered my notary stamp on 10/5/22 and still have not received it as of today 12/5/22. What's worse is I've called twice and the person I speak with says the 'owner' handles notary stamps but isn't good at answering emails. Part of my income relies on having my notary stamp but this guy clearly doesn't care. I will never use Burkharts again. UPDATE 12/5/22: So I woke up and started calling and emailing Burkhart's to get resolution on my notary stamp. When there was no answer on the office phone, I did a quick online search for Scott Robinett and got his cell number. I decided that since he is too cowardly to deal with angry customers on his business line or through emails, that I would call Scott personally for an explanation. He didn't answer so I left him a very direct message detailing my frustration. I then filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and sent him a receipt of the BBB claim. Within 5 minutes of that email I received the following email from Scott Robinett: Jay, We have issued a credit for the Notary supply order you placed. We're are currently waiting on supplies from our vendor for notary stamps which are on back-order and are unable to complete your order. Sorry for the delay and inconvenience. I ordered my notary stamp back in July, Burkhart's took my payment but never send me my supplies. I have called the number many, many, many times and all it says is the mailbox is full. I am out of my supplies and money. Do not buy from this company they will rob/steal your money and never hear from them. read more

0 STARS Ordered my notary stamp and bond 7/2022 and never received it. Had been out due to medical reasons and thought I had mistakenly not gotten it ordered. Ordered it again on 8/2022. I have never received either order. I have emailed Scott Robinett multiple times and received no response. I've called and no one ever answers phones and VM says it is full and not accepting VM at this time. I have ordered with them previously and did not have a problem at that time. Do not order from them as they are not fulfilling orders and the only emails I have gotten were receipts showing I paid them, but never received orders. I will be contacting the Oklahoma Secretary of State and BBB about them not fulfilling orders as all other options have not worked. read more

Do not, under any circumstances, order from this store!! I ordered a notary stamp on 9/22/22. As of today, 10/31/22 I still have not received it. I have called 5-6 times and been given the runaround every time (they were not even able to give me a tracking number, though they claimed after I called on 10/20/22 that they were shipping it that day). Today I was finally able to get a tracking number from them, and it states that it was not even mailed until today. Ridiculous customer service. Order from somewhere else. ZERO STARS. read more

DO NOT order notary or notary renewal from here! They have multiple complaints on BBB forr the same issue...never delivering the notary. I have spent 2 months trying to get my renewal and have finally filed a complaint myself. I placed my order on September 26, 2022 for my notary. I followed up on October 21 and was passed off to Josh. He said he would check into it and if there was a problem call me back. No call - so felt we were okay. My order never came in. I called back on 11/8/22, and talked to Josh again. He told me he would call by 3:30 pm today. Guess what, no call. 11/11/22; I called back for a third time. Josh isn't there. Scott checked on my order and said "I don't know why it didn't ship". I will ship it out ground and you will have it on Monday (which will be 11/14/22). I'm hopeful it will ship on Monday, but I'm setting an alarm to remind me to call Tuesday if I don't get it. I chose to use Burkhart's to make it easier for me to renew my notary. I did my first one by myself and it took three or four phone calls to get it accomplished, so I felt Burkhart's would be more efficient which was worth the extra money I paid, or so I thought. I'll let you know what happens next week, but I doubt it will change my score. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed an order through their website in July 2019. I figured it might take a week or two to get my stamp made and get everything mailed to me. After about a month, I called for an update. I was told one of the items was on backorder and it would be a few more days. Three weeks later, I called again. I was told the item was still on backorder. I continued to follow up and kept getting the same answer. In early October 2019, I went into the store and the gentleman working there looked up my order and told me my order had shipped "a few weeks" ago but could not give me any tracking information. I've called last week to request a refund. I was told it would take a few days to process. It never came through. When I called today (now early November) I was told that rather than a refund being given (as I wanted) I was told that they were re-building my order and they were waiting for my stamp handle and would be shipping "soon." The woman that I spoke to got angry with me when I told her the order was supposed to have been cancelled and refunded. She told me that she would process my cancellation and hung up on me. I expect I'll have to call again for a status and I don't actually expect to get my order or get my money back. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering Notary supplies. I placed my order on October 28, 2022, expecting "same day service" as online ad promised., Days passed and no order received. Susbsequently, despite 3 emails to owner/manager, Scott Robinett, and speaking by phone to three different people including Robinett, I do not have what I ordered and it is now over a month later. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS ORGANIZATION!!!! They are frauds. They take the money and run. Now I begin the process of trying to get a refund but I do not hold out any hope of receiving same. I will report them to the Oklahoma Secretary of State for this fraudulent, and apparently regular, behavior. Buyer Beware, as they say. THe Better Business Bureau has spoken about them. read more

WARNING! Stay as far away from this business as humanly possible! This criminal enterprise takes payment for products and never delivers the said product. I ordered a notary renewal kit on 2-15-23, and they still have not renewed my notary commission with the Oklahoma Secretary of State. My commission has since expired, and I will now have to apply for a new one. I have sent several emails with no response. Their online contact form does not work. This is actually a complaint for the 71st street store. Dec. 13, 2016 - I Ordered a Notary Package from Burkhart's that included purchase of a bond and filing of the bond with the state of Oklahoma. Dec. 22, 2016 - Signed oath at Burhart's and was told to wait a week before notarizing anything to give time for bond filing. Did as requested and then began notarizing items. Jan. 18, 2017 - Received email from Okla. SOS Notary Office that on the 17th my commission had been revoked due to non-filing of bond. I called Notary office and they said bond wasn't filed and they were currently working on bonds submitted on Jan. 12 and that all previous bonds had been completed. Said there could be complications with items I notarized. I called Burkhart's and spoke with Cindy. I was assured the bond was filed and she'd check into it. She even apologized because I was misinformed as to when I could start notarizing because she didn't file the bonds before Christmas. She said she filed them immediately after Christmas and the people I had spoke to had been fired since then. I spoke with my office and we agreed to create file documenting that I notarized in good faith. Called Cindy back and requested batch and check number proving what day the bond was sent. She said she'd email it to me. I waited several days and checked Notary site, but received no information and couldn't find reinstatement. Jan. 24, 2017 - Went into Burkhart's and spoke with Cindy. She showed me items she got off her computer saying I'd been reinstated and the state had reviewed my bond on Jan. 19th. I asked again for batch and check number. She said she'd send it that afternoon. Things felt off about what I was being told so I called Notary office again and they told me they'd received my bond on the 19th and reviewed it on the 23rd. Not in Dec. as Cindy had stated several times. Jan. 25, 2017 - I call Burkhart's and requested check and batch number again. This time I was told by another employee Cindy was having trouble with computer and she'd send it later. I spoke with Notary office and they sent me copy of document proving when my bond was sent. I then wrote an email to the owner of Burkhart's, Scott Robinett, explaining my believe that Cindy had been lying to me and explained situation. Seven minutes after sending the email to the owner I received an email from Cindy with an undated document sent to the Notary office talking about the check number and number of bonds being sent. I called Notary office and they checked their records against the check number and found it corresponded to what was sent to them on the Jan. 18th and did not contain my name. They sent a copy of that document to me. *As a side note the bonds sent to the state on the 18th contained 5 names of other notaries whose commissions had also been revoked because bonds were not sent in a timely manner from Burkhart's. Jan. 26, 2017 - I forwarded info from notary office to Cindy proving the check number she'd sent me was not for my bond and requested documentation again proving my bond had been sent in December. Jan. 31, 2017 - I requested they either provide documentation showing my bond had been sent in December according to our agreement or provide admission they'd failed to file my bond and that's why it was revoked. Feb. 2, 2017 - I called and spoke with Scott Robinett. He confirmed he received my email and seemed to feel the issue had been resolved since my bond had been reinstated and Cindy had sent me a check number. I explained what had happened since sending him the email and that I needed documentation that the bond had been sent in Dec. to prove I'd been notarizing in good faith. He said he'd look into it and would call me back. Later that afternoon I received an email from Scott saying he'd checked the records and my bond had been sent on Jan. 6. I sent an email back requesting the batch number and check number so I could call the Notary office to confirm my bond had actually been sent on that day and as of 10:45 am Feb. 8 there has been no response. My belief is I'm being lied to because the state can provide documentation and Burkhart's seems to be denying me proof.
