This is a post about the Jr department sales clerk, GAIL, who took it upon herself to negate my price adjustment/return today with her poor attitude and condescending words. A few weeks ago, I purchased several jr clothing items off the clearance rack for $1.99 and noticed the price marked IN RED on the ticket did not reflect on my receipt. 5 pairs of Wallflower overalls all rang up $1.99 except one pair and so, I stopped by the EASTON store to address it with the clerk, GAIL. I explained what happened and the first words out of her mouth were "these are Wallflowers and they never get reduced" followed by "there's no way to give you a price adjustment without seeing ALL the other wallflower overalls", followed by "why do you want to see a manager, she's going to tell you the same thing", followed by "there's nothing we can do" followed by "we don't ink the price in RED" blah, blah, blah. In the meantime, the department manager watched her and let her treat a GOOD customer in this manner and wouldn't share HER name because she didn't say anything wrong!! Who allows this clerk to treat customers this way? The asst mgr arrived and made the price adjustment but not w/o squaring it with the dept mgr first. Unacceptable, GAIL. You need a refreshment course in customer service and interactional training to better address a complaint with a customer.

I stopped at Lehigh Valley to kill time and explore the mall. From the way it looks, it's not a…read moredead mall but one that is on the borderline of being an active and/or a dying mall. This is one of the biggest malls in Eastern Pennsylvania, covering mainly Northampton, Monroe, and Lehigh Valley County. With that, this mall can be busy. Overall, the hallways look clean and tip-top, nicely lit, and well cared for. The crew works hard to keep the mall in great shape. The selections I find here are typical; many general stores ring a bell, and some you may not find, such as Boscov's. Overall, I'm impressed with what's offered at Lehigh Valley Mall. Will I be back again? When I drive by in the area and have time.

The layout feels dated, and the energy inside just isn't there. A few decent stores keep it afloat, but it's mostly uninspiring, with a lot of empty or repetitive spots. It's not terrible, but it doesn't live up to the hype or to what you'd expect from a regional shopping hub. If you're in the area, it's fine for a quick visit, but definitely don't go out of your way thinking this is some kind of retail destination.

We walked up to the entrance and immediately noticed 2 ROSS security staff standing near the center desk area. Great to see because loss prevention should be at top of every retailers priority. We showed them our cash register receipts as we left the store. Inside, the assortment of clothing and home goods was mediocre. Many rack were organized into categories and easy to find different sizes within the departments. The staff, especially the head cashier, was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Was just shopping at this Marshall's earlier (6/18/2026)... police then came to me while browsing…read morein the store and put me in handcuffs because Marshall's "asset protection" identified me as an accomplice to someone stealing from the store. I was at the end of the store at the luggage section so police had to escort me through a large portion of the store outside to the police vehicle while in handcuffs, enduring ugly stares from store patrons and staff alike. I never talked to anyone nor passed to nor received any item from anyone and didn't even make eye contact with anyone in the store. Yet, I was identified by Marshall's as a suspected thief. I came to the store in an old t-shirt and flip flops and I either look Latino or Chinese based on previous experience of people trying to communicate to me in another language. So I can only surmise they based their assessment on my looks or even ethnicity instead of actually seeing evidence of thievery. To compound this experience, police (understandably) had to handle me sternly and forcefully at first as they were handcuffing me to assert authority on a suspected criminal, but unfortunately I just had surgery recently and my incisions still tender so naturally I suffered pain and discomfort. At least I am thankful to our great men in law enforcement that they are faithfully performing their duties to protect us from crime. So to summarize, I experienced pain, fear and humiliation just because Marshall's saw it fit to judge people based on how they look instead of actually seeing evidence of a crime. My advice to Marshall's shoppers is if you have darker skin, please make sure you put on your best suit and invest in a Patek Philippe watch when shopping at Marshall's so Marshall's doesn't assume you came to the store to steal and be wrongly detained and publicly embarrassed. I will make sure I leave this same review in every site that allows reviews for Marshall's. Thank you for the people reading this and hearing me out on this horrible experience.

I will say this she really should have asked her mom or I to go with her being she is young. She found a dress she wanted however it was to small at the top the zipper would not close by about 6 inches. Well one of the sales people told her a seamstress would be able to help with that. Now mind you my grand daughter believed this girl. I am not a seamstress bit worked most of my life in sewing factories and doing much home sewing. You can not are something that is to small and add to it unless you have the seam allowance and face it you don't have seam allowances that large. I called the store an asked to speak to the manager. I told her that my grand daughter and her friend were in and that I felt it was very poor for a store that wants to be reputable to mislead a young girl as was done. I was told there are no returns. Then the manager calls me a liar saying that her sales people never give names of seamstress. I point blank told her that someone gave the names they were written in handwriting that is not my grand daughters writing. H friend also vouched that the names were given by the sales girl. The manager the called me names and they were nasty she called me an F'in b_ tch. And preceded to hang up on me. I called back and told the manager that I wanted the name and number of her supervisor. She responded that she is the manager and there is no one above her and hung up on me again. I called the Willow Grove store and talked to a very nice and helpful woman. I explained to her what happened and she apologized for the staff at Lehigh Valley. The very nice woman gave me the phone number for corporate and apologized again. I will tell anyone to never shop the store at Lehigh Valley Mall.
