Can we say ugly wallpaper looking clothes... plus size women have a right to look amazing also so get a bigger selection or I'll find an outlet store that will... or maybe I'll just have to open my own because this is wrong. I can't give much input on value because the outlet stores who discriminate against plus size, I can't stay in there long because I get irritated. The whole store was a disgusting mess. Floor was filthy, clothes and items all over the place! Worse than Ross and that's saying a lot! Poor girls that were working.. no way could they clean up that store by themselves. Is this store even open still? Back when it first opened, this was *the* place to shop for coats. All things coats and warm weather wear. That and inexpensive panty hose if anyone remembers wearing those! It was organized, inexpensive and the staff were friendly. Over the years, Burlington expanded to include infant furniture, clothing and gifts, menswear, home decor, beauty items and more. I would call it hodge podge. Also, this shopping center is really showing its age where the parking spaces are tiny and the paint has worn off. With all the online shopping available, I am really surprised this brick and mortar is still in Huntsville. Go here to say you visited a relic. read more

I have no problem with the fact that this Burlington location has a high employee turnaround, but the negative attitude of several of the newer employees has turned this location from what used to be one of my favorite shopping locations into a place I now avoid when I can. The customer service has markedly gone down recently. read more

Waited in check-out line for like 30 minutes. When it was finally our turn the woman we went to said "Um my light is out" in a super rude way when she had just taken someone. There's no reason to make your customers feel stupid. read more

Nick had me waiting for 15 minutes to get a price check on an item. He called twice and no one answered. Finally when someone came up to the counter, they left with the item for another 5 minutes. Meanwhile the line is getting longer and only two cashiers are working, at the slowest pace. This is my first time shopping at Burlington so it left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Discount department store. Very large, as it was originally a Home Depot. They have expanded their ladies clothing section, and reduced the size of their men's clothing section, so my wife now likes the store better. Today she bought a nice Sunday dress, a jacket, and a purse, all at what she called "unheard-of low prices." Their summer sale has started, up to 60% off. There are no helpful salespeople on the floor to help you find things. That is frustrating to shoppers in a hurry. However, if you have more time than money, you might like to spend an hour (or two) browsing this store. Restrooms are very good, and are in the east wall. read more

The store is not clean and is in need of repairs. Selection is super small, very expensive for what you find. You are better off driving the extra few hours out and going to the Hoover, AL location or just shopping at the mall. Not recommended at all. read more

The cashiers are extremely rude. I was not greeted, never once did they even make eye contact or smile. In fact she acted like this was the last place she wanted to be. I was told my total and after I paid, she put it in a bag, and handed me a receipt. Said nothing. I left. Will not be back. So many people without a job, and Burlington would rather hire sour, rude employees. Also very long line. Wasted half of my hour lunch break because there was only one cashier. Eventually another came up and took the layaway instead of those of us that been waiting. read more

NOT RECOMMENDED! If you are going to shop a discount store, it is best to do so in more upscale areas because the surrounding area will drive content. Unfortunately, this store is not in an area that supports quality stores so it is not a great option. Normally, I really like Burlington stores because they are just like little treasure troves where you can find cool and unique finds at great prices, When that happens, it brightens my day! My husband was looking for a light duster but there men's department was really non-existent so they had nothing available. I perused the women's department which had limited stock and much of what was available was "dollar store" quality. The store appears to be in the process of a badly needed remodel so I hope that once that is completed, they will invest in more quality driven clothing, accessories and home décor items. I don't care what you sell or how basic your prices are, there will never be any excuse for having a store that is messy and unclean. At the very least, they need to take more care to make sure that their entire store is neat and clean. When you first enter the store, you feel hopeful because you are greeted with a very nice and well-appointed display but once you move in further and venture to other areas, it as if you have stepped into a totally different store and it just keeps deteriorating from there. They really need to get to work if they have any hope of tapping into the holiday market. Not currently recommended. read more

They used to have a great selection of clothing that was neatly displayed and organized. Now they have very few options to choose from and things are so disorganized that it's like going to goodwill. I used to be able to get special occasion wear from here at very reasonable prices, now there is nothing even remotely resembling that anymore. I did give them one star for the kitchen wares I found a great set of knives for a good price. read more

I love this place because the prices are just great, but the staff are just so unfriendly and plain useless and unhelpful that you really kind of have to attack the store and where everything is yourself. Good prices but crappy staff. This was my first time going to a Burlington Coat Factory. We don't have any in Hawaii, so I was some what excited to go. The commercials always talk about getting AMAZING coats for half off... There was a supposed storm heading to Huntsville. We decided we needed to get some coats because we were going to a banquet that night. I'll have to say that this review is purely based on coats, nothing else. I was anxious to see how cheap the coats were here. I've been searching for a nice leather (can be faux, I'm not too picky) that FIT well. When my friend and I headed to the female coat section, I was a bit overwhelmed. There were rows and rows of different types of coats. I wasn't too keen on buying a "coat" being that I lived in HI, and I can't see myself needing to use a coat. I looked around at coats that I thought were relatively nice. I looked at the price tag and was COMPLETELY blown away. $170! I know that's probably A LOT cheaper than what I would have spent had I bought it from a department store, but come on. $170? Why would I spend that much on a coat that I PROBABLY will never wear again because I live in Hawaii? The pricing didn't get too much better. There were a few that were under $100, but the styles weren't too nice. Managed to find a decent coat that was $35. My friend found one at $50. I also decided to check out the leather jacket section thinking I might find a steal... NOPE. The jackets were still pricey, AND the styles weren't too nice. Maybe we just went in on a off day where their stock wasn't updated. I was disappointed with their coat section. If I find one again, I'm definitely going to have to stop by again to give it another shot and another review. read more
