Grocery delivery has probably been one of the biggest game changers for me - why go to the store when I can have milk in my fridge in 2 hours? All without having to put on shoes. But then, some days, a stroll around the store can be just what you need to brighten your day. Walking around Target, feeling the texture of the pajama pants, comparing lipstick shades - things you just can't do from an iPad on the couch. Of course I ended up with things in my cart that I didn't go in for but I also didn't come home with what I wanted - the skim milk was set to expire the next day and the only available size of the laundry pods that I wanted would last me a year. Target is not much different than a number of stores today - finding help was nearly impossible. I used self checkout which I'm sure got me out a whole lot faster than waiting in the only open check out lane. I'm not about to give up online shopping anytime soon but spending an hour strolling around Target was a nice distraction. read more

I had purchased a pair of glasses from this store a while back. Well, I broke them. I took them in to see if they would fix them and they did, free of charge. Not only that, but I had another pair I didn't purchase there and they fixed those as well... free of charge. Awesome optical department!! read more

Huge Super Target. It's almost impossible to make a trip here quick because of the size of this place. I needed to grab a rolling pin and a pastry cutter for a baking event tomorrow. Supplies were surprisingly low, but I managed to find what I needed. There weren't a lot of registers open. Only self checkout and 2 normal registers. There is a CVS, Optical shop and Starbucks in this location. Not to mention a full grocery store. I guess I'm just new to Super Targets, it's pretty impressive. They also have the order ahead feature where you can pull into the spaces and the employees bring out your order to your car. read more

Someone forgot to tell this Target that they aren't a Walmart. They are always out of stock on more thing than they have in stock and you can bet that what merchandise they do have is probably on the floor getting trampled. For a while I attributed the utter disaster this store is every time I go to the fact they we're rearranging it...but that's been done for a long time now and the store is still a disaster every time I go in. I do grocery deliveries as a side hustle and I've recently just started refusing anything offered from this store because I can't handle the utter disorganization. While visiting my mother in Huntsville, we stopped by to get a few items. Like most targets- they have a great selection of items. We found a few post Valentine's Day sales and our few needed electronic cords. My mother lives right around the corner from this store..... literally she could walk to it if she wanted. Can someone dim the parking lot lights after midnight ? Seriously- those lights come into her house like beacons off alien ships. We will return even if the lights keep us up all night. read more

This is a "Super" Target, not because it's extra special but because it also has a full supermarket section in addition to the usual Target electronics, toys, clothing and housewares departments. Yes, there's a full produce section, dairy, meats, frozen. It's quite the large store with plenty of wide aisles and well stocked shelves. Lots of red-shirted associates about. Looking through the menswear department, I found it nicely leveled and the clothing fluffed and folded properly. If I lived here, I'd shop here. read more

This is a nice Target store, but I am always amazed at how few customers are in the store. Every time that I visit this Target I see only a hand few of customers; it is not clear how they stay in business. The store is very clean and well stocked; the employees are friendly. I hope this store remains open as it is the anchor store for this important shopping complex. Time will tell. The purpose for my visit was to buy new glasses from their Optical department. Unfortunately I didn't find a style that satisfied my taste. They had limited frames to choose from. read more

So here we go again, another Target review. This is basically comparing it to other Target locations. This one seems to be a little dated when it comes to the overall look and feel. Typical Target Super Center with all of the food options you would come to expect (fresh meat, produce, boxed goods, frozen products, deli, etc) to go along with the home goods side (entertainment, toys, games, clothes, outdoor, bath, bedroom, furniture, seasonal, etc). Nothing out of the ordinary here, but nothing really stands out at this location either. Only staff interaction was at the checkout counter, Also, just like any Target store, check out the endcaps for items that they have on clearance. Some really, really good deals can be had checking the spots on a regular basis. read more

My issue is I had to ask five employees where to get something, until one employee was smart enough to get on his phone, search it and find, from the mobile site, where the item was. Yes, I needed the walk, but really? The store seemed stocked (no empty shelves unlike its competitors) and prices were clearly marked. read more

I really debated for a while about how many stars I was going to give this store, but the truth is I love Target. The store is always so clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The women's clothing is of a good quality and they have tons of choices for professional wear. I have several very nice dresses that were all under $40 and are very well made and classy. I love visiting the deli for lunch. They have sushi, sandwiches, salads, and of course, chicken fingers! The food is very obviously fresh and I'm really never disappointed in my meal. I also have many items from the sporting goods, home improvement, and office supply areas. I'm always pleased. After visiting this Target I wanted to move to Alabama! I didn't have any interactions with the staff in other departments but the blonde lady in the bakery was SO nice and friendly. I was walking by the bakery section and she offered to help. I didn't even make eye contact but she offered her assistance! I'm not sure if that behavior is the norm but back home we never get that kind of service. Anywho, the bakery section of this Target is very impressive! The mini cakes were adorable and cheap! Appearance wise the cakes looked like something from an Italian bakery! This Target has a huge toy section as well! Friendliness goes such a long way. After visiting this Target I wanted to come back even though I didn't need to buy anything. They offer free fruit / whole size cookies for kids to snack on while the parent shops! read more

Another awesome Target store. I was on business for two weeks and staying at the Townplace Suites which was walking distance to this Target location. It was great to walk to Target every few days to pick up any essentials I needed and some of their awesome prepared foods to eat instead of having to eat out every day. The salads were always super fresh and great tasting. Also this location had some great clearance sections going on. Every time I went I found something else to purchase. I guess that's where all my per diem went... It's also very clean and orderly and the staff was very friendly. read more

Was very pleased that this is a superstore and is located very close to where I called home for the week. Produce was very fresh as were the deli items. Ample room in between the aisles. As Targets are compared this is 5 stars! It's a SUPER TARGET! There is a grocery store here and a Starbucks!!! YAY!!! I wish we had Super Targets in NorCal! This is a one stop shop! Dropp off your one hour film and go shopping by the time you are done buying milk, a loaf of bread and a pound of butter along with socks and some flip flops and gift for your niece and a card then your film is ready and you can get an iced venti decaf white mocha no whip and ta-da all your chores for the day is done!! Pretty clean, nicest people work there. The lines were never long (I went twice so far) But next time I will remember to bring back some Starbucks for the family.... didn't think they would be all interested in some thing Big City (seems to be my nickname here with the in-laws) read more

A year ago it would have been a solid five, but your produce department has gone to pot. Seriously, we just stopped even looking at the produce because it's so depressing. That's what prevented a five, and we'd love to see your produce section become good again some day, although I'm not sure it would be enough to win us back from Earth Fare. For everything else, though, very solid store. They consistently have better quality than Walmart and better prices than other grocery stores, plus they are generous with their coupons online and at the store. I won't mention how many times we go here on average in a week, but I doubt we'll ever be won over to some other chain store. read more

Just stopped by with my GF looking for some particular video game swag. Looked all over the electronics department without any success. My main man Pete was working the electronics area and was busy as hell but still managed to make time to help us out and had a super cheerful demeanor with everyone. On the opposite side of the store we found exactly what we were looking for with his help. What a LARGE Target. I know this is a Super Target but it even feels bigger than the ones back home in Nashville. I think it's maybe because it's such a long/wide Target. First off, I'm totally jealous that you all have wine in your Target stores. We only have beer back in Tennessee. I stopped in for a case of bottle water and a tooth brush. I'd tried the Sam's Club down the street but the lines in there were INSANE. It's a little of pain to get to this Target, especially if you're coming from the east. I was able to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The cashier wasn't too friendly but she was talking with another cashier so maybe that was the case. read more

I used to love Target but they seem to be extremely unorganized after the whole credit card mixup. I went online to buy a bookshelf and it said that this Target had it. I went to the store and half the shelves were empty in the furniture section. Moreover, when I approached someone in guest services their response was, "well it says its in stock in our inventory, but we can't find any in the store." They sent me to the target in Madison and they had the same issue saying the system had three in stock but they weren't on the shelves or in the back. When I asked employees at both Targets when they expect to have more in, they said that, "we never know when we're going to get things in." So I ended up making 2 unnecessary trips and never Eben ended up buying a bookshelf from Target. Clearly they need to get organized! read more

The employees are so very accommodating and helpful they are most happy to walk you to an item you ask about and then explain the features in great detail. I think this saves from extreme boredom so please do these guys a favor and ask them for help even if you don't need it. Its fun to watch them light up that you ask them for help! Clean bathrooms and the food at the food counter appears to fresh! As for all target their prices are a little higher than walmart but hey that's one reason they are target and not walmart right. The store is clean. The workers are friendly. The produce section is horrible though. The vegetables are old (cauliflower had darken on the top, apples bruised on the sides, greenbeans whithered, bell peppers had an oddly dull color). Maybe one shouldn't go to Target for produce(?). Despite the new Target on Highway 72 that is closer to my house, I still prefer to shop at this University Avenue location. It has such a bright, open and airy vibe, and it's always super clean and organized. I especially like the grocery selection, and of course, the in-store Starbucks. I usually love Target and wish I could rate just their pharmacy. I walked up at 6:57 and the girl acted mad because she had to wait on me. They had already closed the registers. If they opened at 8:00, I would have offered to come back but since she acted put out, I insisted she get my prescription. Four stars for store overall for Target. Less than one for their pharmacy. We will be changing. Target has changed to CVS and no longer offer the extra 5% so we no longer have a good reason to use Target. read more

This week I received my income tax and I have really been looking forward to taking my kids shopping. They are 4 and 7 and have outgrown all of their summer clothes. When I buy any clothes for my kids, I usually come to Target because it is affordable while also being stylish. I do the same when I need a piece of accent furniture, for all the same reasons. I recently redecorated the loft/playroom of our home, so I was also looking for two new office chairs. Wednesday afternoon, I visited with my four year old daughter. Together, we picked out shorts, t-shirts, a hat and a toy. I was after this that I noticed a woman following us through the store. It became obvious that she worked there. She was ducking behind shelves, etc while watching me. As I walked through the store, this made me madder and madder. First off, I do not take a purse in the store with me, I do not bring a stroller in with me, I do not try on items....Why? Because I have 30 years experience of being followed around stores for no good reason. In north Alabama, being black is justification enough for people to harass me while I shop. I try to minimize their excuses because these types of experiences over and over can really take their toll and cause people to become bitter. I did nothing wrong or suspicious and neither did my four year old autistic daughter. She was happy to be picking out clothes for herself and I was so happy that she was happy. Unfortunately, the white female loss prevention associate put a real damper on the day. It offensive and it is wrong! After checking out with over $300 in purchases, I saw that she even followed us to the register and she decided to act like she needed to use the restroom because her cover was blown at that point. She came out, meandered around, but never left. At this point, I asked for a manager. After having to asked an associated three separate times for a manager, I was given the grocery manager (older white gentleman with glasses) and he told me that the store manager was off. I went on to tell him about my experience. He went on to get the loss prevention manager. When I told the loss prevention manager, he lied and said that there was no female loss prevention associate. I worked loss prevention for a competing big box store. I know how it looks when a loss prevention associate is watching someone. When I caught her ducking behind a shelf, I said to her "Really?". She never even looked my way and continued trying to escape my sight. When she came out of the bathroom and saw that I was looking at her, she quickly turned her head and tried to act like she was texting, floated over to Starbuck's without ordering anything and when she thought I was gone, had started to enter the doors to the employee area. At the last minute, she saw me and continued walking towards the exit (I assume she circled around and re-entered through the side exit). When she almost entered the lounge, I loudly said to the other associates "I want to complain about this woman following me through the store." Again, she buried her face into the cell phone and again tried to make a quick escape from my sight. The behavior was that of someone that had been busted. As I told the loss prevention manager that I complained to, it is not okay to profile someone based simply on their "look" or their race. The customer should be doing something suspicious. In my previous experience, this was walking through and quickly selecting items and then hurrying to the fitting room or a back corner while ALSO carrying a big purse, box or baggy clothes that could be stuffed with the items. There was nothing suspicious going on. Was I going to make a run for it carrying $300 worth of clothes loose without a bag AND my 37lb autistic daughter? Yeah...snapping her in the carseat while making the getaway would be very efficient! THIS WAS SO OFFENSIVE!! I understand that everyone has a job to do, but I am sure that you all should have some standards in place to avoid this type of thing (social media exposure, lawsuits, etc). At Target, I can be followed around simply for walking in the store and shopping? Meanwhile, there were other shoppers all around me doing the same thing, but with strollers, huge purses, car seats and other items that could be used to conceal things. The only difference I saw between them and I was that I am black. In my experience with loss prevention, this type of behavior was not allowed. Profiling customers is NOT okay. The loss prevention associate was a dumpy, middle-aged blond. She was wearing a blue exercise shirt with black yoga capris. I will be back in the store this will prove you lied to CYA. This really adds insult to injury! Take responsibility for actions! I want any apology from the lying manager and the offending loss prevention associate. read more

I usually have a decent experience at Target, even if they don't have what I want/need; hard to find the helpful, friendly associates; despite my card numbers being hacked four times....but I have to say: you don't have to be literate, a math major or how to use a calculator to work here. They had no clue that they charged us twice for one item (we had two receipts to prove it and one item in the bag) or how much to credit us. We got short-changed twice, one associate was rude and dismissed me when I tried to explain what happened with the transaction, and then claimed she gave us our money back when she didn't. I will probably steer clear of this store even though it's the closest to my residence. I suggest a course in customer service and professionalism. read more

No signs limiting sale items until you are checking out & then the manager takes your merchandise. I had a gift card and tried to buy 20 cases of Pepsi as it was on sale & I am a diabetic so I am limited to having drinks available to me. The manager said only 10 cases per household, but the sign said 4 for $11. I started to unload 10 cases, but the manager wanted me to wait while he took the Pepsi back, unloaded it, then returned with the balance of my items. I left angry & then went back into the store and found the manager (Chris) bragging to other employyes about taking items away from me. This is the attitude the employees have of customers? I was a first time shopper & now I am a last time shopper of any Target store as well as any one else I can convince. It is just as well as we found the prices at Wal-Mart cheaper. read more
