Burlington is not a store I shop at b/c there is nothing there I would buy from here. They sale a variety of things that are of low quality. Upon entering the store I got a new surprise of a security guard giving you the once over. This place is fairly organized and not as unkempt as usual. Usually too many aisles can be disorganized and stuff in the wrong section. Goodwill has more interesting things in it. Stuff may be old but they are made of better quality. As I said in a previous review, I may or may not return after the remodeling. Well, I returned because... I needed a new winter coat and Burlington has always been the best place to get good quality coats at reasonable prices. I would have liked to upgrade to more stars on this visit but, I feel reasonable for leaving a 3 star. This visit, the automatic doors were fixed. They were barely working before. Their selection of items were better than before when it came to handbags and shoes but, not clothing. They had a decent selection of coats. I found a Michael Kors coat for $79.99 originally 150.00, still a lot for a coat but very good quality. Another thing I didn't miss was the long line however I know a lot of places don't have staff but that was an issue before Covid. I get to a register and the cashier asks me if the item next to my coat was mine, I say no just the coat. There was no hello how are you, just jumped to is this your item, I appreciate her asking but, as I'm walking up to checkout that's not how I prefer to be greeted. I can say customer service hasn't improved. I was asked if I was a loyalty member and I said no, she didn't even ask would I like to be one. I pay for my coat and leave, the people at the doors were friendlier this time greeted me when I came in and when I left. My reason for 3 stars, Customer service hasn't improved much. As mentioned cashier seemed she just wanted to get me out of there, I know times are tough and the store is busy but, at least make your customers feel welcome. The employees at the door were friendlier than her. 2nd, although the store looks better and somewhat new, they didn't seem to have some things and there was some clutter in some places. Particularly the front where you go to check out. You probably have to dig to find what you're looking for. I appreciate the effort into remodeling the store (something Dixie Hwy location needs to do) But, try improving on the appearance of the store and customer service skills too. I don't come here often and most likely won't be back for sometime unless I can think of a reason to come here. read more

Another annual visit to exchange gifts from my father-in-law! We always walk the perimeter of the store, not really diving into the racks of clothing because I find most pieces to be irregular, damaged or poorly made. Our finds typically come from the houseware section or pets, but my husband did nab a pair of tennis shoes this visit. Prices are fairly reasonable but finding what you're looking for is hit & miss. I'd consider Burlington a spot you'd visit because your old faithful stores didn't have something on your wish list, or because you're in the area. I do appreciate that any time we've visited that check out has plenty of cashiers. It keeps the line moving at a steady pace and we typically encounter friendly employees. Beware of all the candy and snacks they put throughout the check out area to tempt you! read more

Great prices and nice things but the clientele and the workers ruin this place. So messy. The customers don't respect the place and the store does not straighten up as they go. Place is always crowded. I would say a move In Location may help to get away from the nasty customer base but I imagine they do well financially as they are always packed. They need to hold themselves and and the customers more accountable. read more

Drove 20 minutes out of my way because your store hours said open until 10pm today on all platforms AND your automated system. Well, that was a LIE. You really need to update that so people aren't driving out to your store only to find that it's closed. Complete waste of time and gas! read more

This place has good prices on items but the overall atmosphere is horrible. They have items just laying all liner the floor. Nothing is organized well and it is dirty. The lines are extremely long and take forever. I would not recommend going there. My wife likes the deals there they have but not for me. read more

Made a unnecessary trip drove 30mins and they were closed at 8:30 when then sign says they are open until 10pm.

I love this store because you can find amazing home decor, sheets, and other home items at great prices. I have also been able to find designer clothes and other name brand clothes here before. The only negative I have to say about this location is that it can be really messy because customers mess up the store quicker than employees can fix it. Also, there have been times where the front has run out of bags or other essentials that you would expect a store to have plenty. Overall I recommend this store location. The cashiers and employees are usually very friendly even though they may be understaffed or super busy. read more

Not much has changed since Heather's visit in March 2021. Doors still broken at my last visit 6/1/21. not a lot of inventor to choose from hopefully this will change soon once remolding is completed because it's one of my favorite stores.will keep you posted. read more

I walked into this store on Friday afternoon for a quick purchase of shirts before I went out of town for my Mothers 80th Birthday Party. After looking for 20 minutes (not my issue) I did find 2 shirts that would accommodate my children for this event. After I found the items that I liked I had to stand in line with 3 open registers that took me more approximately 43 minutes before I checked out. This was in the middle of the day on a Friday, I can't imagine what this store/s checkout time would be after work hours or on a Saturday and God forbid the Christmas rush. It is totally unacceptable for a store with 8 registers and multiple employees walking around to only have 3 registers open with the line that was resent in the store. So bad that I posted and encouraged all friends, peers and family if you have a life to live and deadlines to achieve before the next day that is not the place to go to complete these goals. Burlington has no regards for the people's time. There is no way that one should spend their irreplaceable time and hard earned money with any establishment that obviously cares nothing for those efforts in your life. There are countless other stores that will fullfill your fashion needs and will not disrespect you time for choosing their store. read more

So this isn't the worst place you ever enter but had it not been for the eventual comedic relief I'd have ran right out. I don't purchase anything from anywhere that doesn't take care of it's environment and merchandise. This place is hit or miss. If you have plenty of time to look through the store, you can find some really great bargains. Otherwise, you can just end up frustrated. I recently had 30 minutes to kill so I went in to browse. There were tons of people and screaming kids everywhere. This store does draw a diverse crowd, so be prepared. The jewelry section was a mess. Cute necklaces for $10 or less but lots of items tangled. I found a few cute dresses to try on and the dressing room attendant was so sweet. That was a big plus. I did end up purchasing a Calvin Klein work dress for $39. The check out lines were long but they did open up more lines. The cashiers seemed to not like their jobs very much. Guess I wouldn't either. To sum it up- it's worth going to if you have plenty of time and patience. read more

This is a decent close-out department store, though it is some in a hidden location. It is behind a Lowes Home Improvement Center. It doesn't really face a road--it faces the backside of a Kroger strip mall. Odd. In any event, I'm glad this final, remaining portion of the old Bashford Manor Mall was put to good use. There is not a BCF anywhere near this area so it was nice to have. Though it is in a hidden spot, it is within walking distance to a Target, Lowes (previously mentioned) and a Walmart Supercenter. The four combined make this a good shopping destination in terms of home improvements or discount department stores. This location, being newer, is nice, clean, and organized which usually makes for a decent shopping experience. * I have picked up some great luggage pieces and travel accessories at fantastic prices. It is overstock or discounted items and it can be a challenge to put together a matching set. If you only need one or two piece, then this place is a must. * There is a large selection of clothing and accessories. And coats, of course. The clothing styles lean toward the urban side. This place is not my favorite place to shop, but I still include it in my list of shopping destinations often. read more

It's pretty clear how little the management team at this location values their customers. There are very few cashiers and only a handful of them can manage a smile or service. Too bad it takes 15 people in line before they add a cashier. read more

At first glance it seemed like a hidden gem behind the lowes. if you weren't looking for it you might miss it. When you walk into the store you are immediately hit with a very strong perfume smell, the whole store smells like it I have no idea why that's not really a negative. The fact that it is so disorganized and that nothing is in it's right place is. And once you do finally find what you're looking for it usually doesn't have the right price tag on it making it a pain when you have to go check out. Add that to the usually long line because they're is only two cashiers. You might as well go to the Walmart up the street you might get out of there faster. read more

This is a great store, and I really enjoy shopping here because they have such a great variety, and I always find something nice at a great price. However they definitely need to hire more helpful employees. The store is always messy. Their lines are always backed up. There is only a couple registers open.
