There was not one thing I would put on my body and it seems as if the buyers were trying to find the most unflattering dresses possible. Who is their target customer? While price isn't an issue for me, I didn't bother to look at the prices because I didn't like anything. I guess if you pay $500 for an ugly dress, the price makes it less ugly? On the bright side,their new location across the street on Grove is spacious and inviting. I've often wondered why they don't put a sign up with the name of their store. I guess they have dedicated clientele who don't need a sign. I walk by the store every day, but will not be back.

I was a fan of the shop before, but the new location is even brighter, larger, and closer to where I live, making it more convenient for an impromptu visit. Jessica, the owner, kept the same design elements and overall vibe of the space, which makes it feel like a seamless transition from the customer perspective. The shop feels very crisp, stylish, fashion-forward, and welcoming. The light-colored walls, ceiling, and furniture really allow the clothing and accessories to pop! Take one look at the shop and tell me it's not a place you'd like to peruse. I've scored dresses from Naven, Ali Ro, Rachel Pally, and Yoana Baraschi, denim from Citizens of Humanity, tops from Everly and Lovers and Friends, and fun accessories to round out the looks. Not only does the shop stock incredible wardrobe additions, but the personal customer service is top-notch. I'm not a fan of pushy sales associates, and Jessica (and her staff) is the farthest thing from that. She won't let you walk out of the store in something that doesn't flatter your figure, and I have never once felt pressure to make a purchase. I just got off the phone with the Regional/General Manager from K&G in Maryland. Nothing was resolved by the Regional/General Manager of the White Oak store. Just a bunch of hot blown air to the customer. He promised me something out of the store as a compensation for the hardship that I faced in his Richmond store and then when I asked him about it later he acted like he knew nothing. You, see, apparently he is not in Richmond but in Maryland. I see why the subordinate leadership in Richmond is just as bad as he is. K & G needs better leadership. I faced a very difficult time over the years dealing with the manager in the Richmond store. She is very rude and follows customers around the store and makes the shopping experience very uncomfortable. Because of this I have not been in the store lately because I am in fear of harassment. I hope that someone from the corporate office reaches out to me soon so I can fill you in on what was promised to me in compensation for the Richmond store management and employee behavior. I am truly dissatisfied to have been lied to by the Regional/General Manager. This review only shows a little bit of the problems with your Richmond store.
