After reading yelp reviews, I had my son ( army officer) bring his car in for service due to loud rumbling noise in the right rear wheel. We thought it was a bad wheel bearing. All I can say, this is a top notch and honest company! They called and said it was rust build up on the drum, (just came back from 9 month deployment) they cleaned it and adjusted the breaks, and gave an oil change $80! He left the following morning to drive back to Virginia for Christmas, with no issues. I had a slow leak in my right rear tire, so I stopped by on Saturday 12/12/20, about an hour before they closed to see if they could look at and fix it if necessary. We walked out and looked at the tire, and found a small screw in the tread. So they got me right in fixed my tire and got me back on the rode in 30 minutes. I'm very thankful that they were not only open late afternoon on a Saturday, but that they were able to get me right in so quickly. They follow all the Covid-19 protocols which was comforting to me. They were also very professional, fast, courteous, and thorough. I have nice black aluminum powder coated wheels on my vehicle, and they fixed/remounted the tire without scratching or damaging my wheel which means the world to me. The only minor thing that they missed was when I checked my tire pressure shortly after leaving the shop, they only put 32 psi in the tire when factory specs call for 36 psi. But that's nothing to me, I cared more about having my tire repaired and my wheel to be in the same condition after as it was before the repair. Thank you so much to the service techs at Burnett Automotive for saving me the aggravation of waiting a day or so to get it fixed. I live out of town and it sure was nice not to have to mount the spare, possibly put fix-a-flat in it, or just keep nursing it til the following Monday when I could get to a shop in my home town to finally get it fixed. read more

My daughters truck needed some work because it would not start. So I had it towed over here to get it done. The work they did was fine. The price and the fees are out of this world high. They charged me $380! labor for a diagnostic and a tune up. There is a shop fee for $29.97 for who knows what and then I got charged $76.42 in taxes (8.950%) including taxes on the labor. You people in Manhattan are getting ripped off by all these fees and sales taxes higher then those in California. Everyone has to make a profit that is how we all survive in this world but I think I will try to find a less expensive way to get stuff repaired around here and maybe a different county to live in once retirement time is here. read more

I took my SUV in for an oil change and to be test driven because it was having severe problems. They said they test drove my vehicle and their solution was to put in more transmission fluid. As soon as I left I realized nothing had been fixed without so much as a referral to another shop. A month later I got my car into a different auto shop in Kansas City and they told me to take it directly to a transmission specialist- my cars transmission was actively failing and I need to purchase a NEW one. If I would have trusted these "mechanics" at their word, my car would have stranded me somewhere. On top of feeling belittled by the customer service reps, I will never recommend this shop to anyone and have heard multiple stories like mine from others. Keep looking for a place to get your car fixed. read more

Back when I was commuting 100+ a day round trip, Burnett got a lot of my business to try to keep my less-than-awesome car running. They're not the cheapest in town, but they're fair, prompt, and never ripped me off. And they were always pretty awesome about squeezing my clunker in for emergency treatment when something inevitably was about to fall off. Bonus - they will give you a ride home if you need to leave your car, and last time I stopped in for an oil change while visiting family, I noticed they had wi-fi, which is always nice when you're waiting for your car to be revived from near death. read more

Burnette fixed my car with a repair Firestone said they could not do. Firestone quoted $700 but Burnette took care of me for $117!! Plus they have a shuttle service. I am a forever fan! read more

Had an oil change on Saturday at Burnett. Today a large piece of plastic started drag on ground from underneath car. Thought they hadn't done something correct. Took it back and it turns out they didn't touch this plastic covering. But they still went out of their way to fix it. Called them this morning to get some labor cost estimate on parts that I need to replace in my truck, I have bought the parts and all I need to get them installed, they wouldn't do it because they want you to have them get the parts so they can charge you more than what you would pay getting them yourself from the same parts place. Then the guy try to compare the situation with you getting a burger from Burger King, some out of this world comparison. The point is there is no liability on them if the part you provide is faulty or something happens all they are liable for is if the work is not done properly just lost a customer. read more
