Let me start by saying that I didn't want to give any stars. I went in a couple days ago for an oil change. I walked out with an estimate with over $1,200 worth of "needed repairs". I had my truck looked at by another mechanic because one of the things they said needed repaired had just been repaired 3 years ago. My other/regular mechanic stated that the bottom of my truck was covered in oil from the oil change and once all of that was washed off, NONE of the "needed" repairs were actually needed! I'm VERY grateful that I got a second opinion! I'll NEVER be bringing my truck back to this establishment, even for they're cheap oil changes.....I guess it's true what they say.....you get what you pay for! read more

Went in with a friend to have his jeep realigned. We had $250 hidden in the center console to put towards an Xbox 1 later that day. After they aligned the car the mechanic took it out on a 20 minute test drive, with no permission. After paying for the service and leaving we noticed the money was gone. Very knowledgeable technicians, friendly staff. They do good work but I don't think their prices are fair. They quoted me a cost of almost $800 to change out the wheel bearings on the front of my car, of which they said the parts alone would cost over $300. I found the parts online for $75. A family friend changed the bearings and I paid a total of $165 to have both wheel bearings changed. I understand that they need to make a profit but I think they overcharge on some of their services. read more

Had a bad alternator and battery. Did research and should have only cost around $400-500 tops to fix. They charged me almost $1200. Replaced two belts that didn't need replaced and charged me $224 for a used battery, plus an extra $42.50 for the labor of installing the battery. Ridiculous. Furthermore, they didn't call me until they had already done the work. Who does that? Do not use their services unless you're willing to pay two to three times more than any other place would charge. read more

1 year ago this month I had taken my Explorer here because it had broken down. It turned out it was my catalytic converters. Of course I wanna keep my vehicle in as good of condition as possible so that I can have a reliable vehicle without car payments one day since I'm a single mom with no extra cash. Not only was it a hassle getting the problem "fixed" at that time but barely a year later my Explorer breaks down again in the middle of no where with hardly any cell phone signal with my 5 year old daughter at night in the cold! Took my Explorer to another mechanic shop that had been referred to me. They said that there had been a horrible job done on my catalytic converters. So bad that it screwed up a whole lot of other things that the catalytic converters have to do with also! And this is putting it in a much nicer way than was said. I may not know much about vehicles but I'm pretty sure if the issue was fixed correctly it shouldn't have happened again and certainly not only 1 year later! I have had another recent bad experience with them trying to "scare" me into other repairs that I came to find out weren't necessary when all I went in for was an oil change. I'm sure I was an easy mark for them since I'm a woman and know absolutely nothing about the mechanics of a vehicle. I would like to mention that I was hoping that this would be the place that I would always take my vehicle and refer anyone and everyone to. But after I feel like I've been tricked and lied to and treated horribly by these people I will never be back nor will I have anything good to say about them if asked! Last year, they gave me a "tune up" and replaced my serpentine belt. This cost me $1000 plus. Claimed they fixed my engine light. That FIX lasted 48 hours. I knew it wasn't anything major since it wasn't a dire problem, so I let it go. Then was told I needed ball joints replaced and that it didn't have long before they failed. That had a price tag of $750! I have driven it since then, worried about the ball joints. It is in another shop now and I expected them to confirm the ball joints. There is NOTHING wrong with them! Worst customer service I have ever seen.. will not recommend to anyone.. I dropped my car off three days ago and told them specifically that my car had a bad immobilizer.. they then call me the next day tell me they can't replace immobilizers.. why would you not tell me that when I dropped it off?? But I say whatever ill just take it to kokomo auto world... I get my keys and go to my car to find that my car is unlocked and things everywhere.. multiple items stolen out of the car and trash everywhere clearly somebody stayed the night in my car.. I tell the owner and the only thing he has to say is "o sorry about that bud" ????! Seriously? Why would you leave someone's car unlocked over night? As a business owner I would be embarrassed and try to rectify the problem(aka replace my stuff)... but hey that's me... I recommend reading the rest of the reviews seems like I'm not the first one.. Amazing customer service, great prices, and thoroughly good work!

I really don't want to give any stars because this is downright ridiculous. I've had my truck at the north side location twice in the space of three weeks. Both times it had to be towed there because it wouldn't start. Both times my truck sat untouched for three days before they got around to it. The second time it was there I shouldn't have had to pay the towing but they charged me anyway saying the problem was unrelated to the first issue because it started right up for them when it got there (like I'd go through the trouble of having it towed for no reason). They didn't even try to diagnose the issue. Now here I am stranded yet again for a third time with a truck that won't start. I tried to be understanding and nice because my husband is friends with the owner but this is their JOB!!!! DO YOUR JOB! If you take your car here, you'll get a laundry list of excuses as to why they can't get it fixed. Someone's on vacation, someone's sick or they're so busy blah blah blah. More like too busy wall-jobbing hard working people who just want to be able to drive to work and pick their kids up from school. Oh! Last but not least, check under your hood when you get your car back (if they managed to do anything to it at all) because they haphazardly left tools laying around under my hood the first time I had it towed there, that should've clued me in not to take it back there again but I wanted the repairs done on their dime the second time around (as it should have been). read more
