We've homeschooled our son since he was 2 so we were very particular about where he goes whenever my wife has to work from the office. Well I visited the place and I absolutely loved it. My son officially now has community of little starseeds. Our host Emani also comes from a homeschool background so she could really relate to our questions and concerns. She's absolutely amazing and so is the entire staff from the administration to the classroom. They do an outstanding job with the kids and we couldn't be happier; especially our son which is the most important part. Thank you again!

My daughter is 15 months old and in the young toddler class. Brandy (the director) gave me a tour and I was so impressed by the schedule they had in place for toddlers and the safety measures they take to keep sickness to a minimum there! The school is safe. You have to be buzzed in. The outdoor area has good security as well. Nora's teachers are so sweet. I went through a struggle when we were at our other center worrying about her everyday. I don't have to worry about her here which allows me to be much more effective at work. I know when we drop her off here she's safe and in good hands. Nora is so excited to see her teachers everyday and has really thrived on their schedule. She claps when we pull in the parking lot. She has learned a lot and you can tell she's engaged throughout the day. She gets her work sent home with pictures at the end of every week. It's so nice seeing all of her art work and activities. She's so proud of her work! If you're looking for a new center, I highly recommend giving them a tour! Justine and the front desk staff are always nice and accommodating with all questions. I loved that school and after we tried various other daycares in the area, I found out that this KRK had started providing transportation from Tadlock Elementary! We jumped at the chance to get her back into a KRK and we were immediately happier. I don't know if it's their philosophy or their hiring practices, but we've always had a great experience at KRK and this one seems to be just as awesome. Highly recommended if you're looking for childcare or after school care!

As in any school or establishment individual experience is going to be different, depending upon the teacher in classroom in with your child is placed. I picked my child up today only to hear her screaming at him through the door. I arrived early to pick him up. As I approached the classroom door I heard her yelling at him to go to sleep calling him a baby and telling him he needs to go to the baby room since he won't sleep. My son was crying telling her he didn't want to go to the baby room saying "I'm a big boy". This was not a stern or firm teacher voice, this was screaming and berating my son in front of his classmates during their nap time. My son should not have had to go through that, the other children in the class should not have had to hear that. As a former teacher myself this is NO WAY in which to speak to a child, especially for not napping. This "teacher" does not deserve the title and should not be working with children. Once she came to the door, her tone completely changed, she became extremely soft spoken and sweet. The hypocrisy was ridiculous. I mentioned the experience to the front staff as the director of the school was not there. They apologized.

The incident was reported to the director, but the only action taken appears to have been filing a report and moving her to another classroom. At four years old, my niece is fully capable of communicating what happened to her, and the physical marks supported her statement. Despite this, the teacher is still employed at the school. We were also informed that the cameras are only monitored live and do not record footage, which raises serious concerns regarding accountability and student safety. As a parent or family member, this situation is extremely disturbing. I would not recommend this daycare based on how this matter was handled. I believe incidents involving allegations of physical harm toward a child should be taken far more seriously and investigated thoroughly. I intend to follow up with the appropriate state agencies to request a formal inspection and review of this facility. No child should ever feel unsafe in a learning environment, and no teacher accused of inappropriate physical conduct should remain in the classroom without a proper investigation.

From the very first day, the staff made my children feel welcomed, safe, and cared for. They treat the kids like family, and it shows in how happy and excited my little ones are to go every morning. The teachers are patient, loving, and truly dedicated to helping the kids learn and grow. I've noticed so much progress in my children's social skills, confidence, and learning since they started here. The communication with parents is excellent, and I always feel reassured knowing my kids are in great hands. Our son dreaded going to his summer program until starting kiddie academy. We see him learning and enjoying his peers. He comes home with a smile every day. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and owner. From the moment we enrolled our child, we've been impressed with their caring staff and nurturing environment. The teachers are incredibly patient and skilled at fostering both educational growth and emotional development. Our child looks forward to going each day, which speaks volumes about the center's warm atmosphere and engaging activities. We love the teachers, the administrative team, and have celebrated many milestones with classmates & their parents. KA fosters a fun, safe, and healthy environment for the kids, teachers, and parents. The teachers are always creating engaging learning activities for my son. The teachers are super helpful with techniques of transition like bottles to cups, pacifier weening, eating solids, trying new foods, potty training, riding a tricycle, etc. Drop-offs are a breeze, my son looks forward to seeing his friends and teachers each day (if they are on vacation he totally welcomes the change with ease bc all of the teachers are fantastic and he is familiar with all of them) Pickups are also joyful, the excitement to see me and joy to end the day by giving hugs and sharing goodbyes around the classroom and through out the hallways fills my heart! During COVID their mask mandate, dropoff/pickup routine and cleaning protocols kept our minds at complete ease (for our little guy health and a member in our household personal health concerns during unprecedented times). I've witnessed troubling incidents that raise serious concerns about their practices. One alarming example is when a two-year-old was left outside without supervision, and the parents were never informed. This incident was not reported to licensing, and when questioned, the leadership continued to lie about what happened. It's disheartening to see such a lack of accountability. Additionally, I've heard young teachers discussing personal details about other children with parents, including my own. This is a blatant violation of privacy and trust. In another troubling situation, a male teacher was left alone in the bathroom with a four-year-old girl, and the director, Ashley, concealed this information from the child's mother. Let alone the countless times they were outside ratio of kids while teachers covered the front desk while leadership hadn't come in for the day or was spending time with them. In all these instances, parents were never informed. The emotional, physical, and mental toll on my children from being in this environment has been significant. I urge all parents to reconsider their choice of daycare and seek a place where children's safety and well-being are genuinely prioritized. Please, do your research and don't rely on the state site (these leaders do NOT self report) and look elsewhere for your child's care.
