We show the owner Musa, and he laughs in our faces and says "I see what you're doing, you're just trying to find something broken" and walks away. So we went to the car and it did it again so I walked in and said "listen we aren't trying to mess with you. It's actually broken". So he goes to get me a new one and catch's a complete attitude about how he shouldn't have to refund these blah blah blah. And I said okay thank you. He proceeded to walk away and say "mmhhhh. Get tf out of my store" under his breath as if I didn't hear him. Keep in mind, we were VERY nice the whole time we were there. Im sorry but if I'm paying for something it shouldn't be broken. Moral of the story is don't shop here. It used to be a very nice place with very nice people and ever since it's been under new management, it's been TERRIBLE. The customer service is terrible. The owner is a complete asshole. I used to LOVE this place when it was smokers kingdom and now it's just a complete shit show. The amount of disrespect we just got from Musa is absolutely DISGUSTING. I can proudly say that we are NEVER returning to this place again. I will gladly take the 45 minute drive to SMOKERS KINGDOM in Homer Glen to deal with nice customer service then go to this smoke shop.

After discovering that Plainfield was NOT in Cook County and, therefore, not subject to its draconian taxes, I suggested we hit a place for smokes, thereby saving me $$$ that could be better spent on the restoration of Ye Olde Crack House. Jenn, being ever so helpful, suggested this joint. Sure, they have booze, lots of it. Although I was there for smokes, I did give the liquor a quick glance - it was there, they had a decent - if standard - selection, and the pricing seemed to be in line. That being said, the real reason to come to this store is the cheap smokes - 3 cartons of Camel Lights for $103 with taxes vs. the $260 or so you would pay in the city! Yup, that's another $150 in taxes Todd Stroger isn't going to spend giving his relatives a pay raise. Look at me, sticking it to the man and such! What a thrill, and a relatively cheap one at that. Nice staff, clean store, plenty of parking and you won't feel like you need to get a third job just to support your *still legal* nicotine habit. On the rare occasions I'm out in this neck of the woods, I'll be sure to stop back in.

You don't find many places that have this many options at the price points I saw. I'm a huge Fuente fan and they had sticks that aren't easy to find (unless you're online or want to buy a box.) The lounge is a decent size; plenty of TVs and larger seats line the walls. They also sell soda, water and chips (which I loved) and stay open until midnight on the weekend. The proprietor came around to change the ashtrays consistently, and was very knowledgeable about the cigars. I didn't need any help, but it's always a plus when the staff is attentive and knows their stuff. Highly recommend if you're in the Aurora area.
